Rapper Wale had his album listening party ‘Shine‘ on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at Genius Event Space in New York City.

A former Super Eagles defender, Taye Taiwo, has charged Vincent Enyeama to forget about returning to the national team amidst calls for the invitation of the goalkeeper.

There have been calls for the return of the former Enyimba goal tender to the team despite announcing his retirement about a year ago.

Enyeama had a bust up with former coach Sunday Oliseh, and since then called it quit with the Super Eagles.

He also had issues with the federation following his comments on Kaduna as a venue for Eagles game.

With persistent injury to current first choice, Carl Ikeme, Nigerians have been clamouring for the return of Enyeama who has made 101 appearances for the country.

Eagles Manager, Gernot Rohr, has also made it clear that he needed the goalie.

Taiwo however told the Lille goalie to forget about coming back and rather concentrate on his club duty.

“If I were Vincent Enyeama, I will stay away from the Super Eagles,” Taiwo said during a radio programme monitored in Lagos on Thursday.

“He has achieved everything with the team, so why coming back at this time.

He has done well for the squard in the past, let him remain with his club and give others a chance instead of rubbishing all the good records he had in the team in the past..

“Enyeama had over 100 caps for the team already, what more can someone like him asked for again? Let him allow other goalkeepers to get opportunities with the team too.”

The Lausanne Sports of Switzerland defender also berated the invitation of bench warmers to the national team.

He said: “If a player is not a regular starter at his club, he shouldn’t go near the Super Eagles. The national team should be for players playing every week for their various clubs.”

The former AC Milan strongman said that he would have moved to China but the clubs there were more interested in strikers

Anthony Joshua has said an emotional goodbye to his mum Yeta Odusanya ahead of Saturday’s superfight with Wladimir Klitschko.

Heavyweight Joshua has not allowed his mother to fights since the London 2012 Olympics because he is worried she would distract him in the ring.

Instead, Yeta will be a couple of miles away at home in north London — on the strict orders of her unbeaten IBF heavyweight champion son.

Joshua posted a picture of him bracing his old dear on Twitter alongside the message: “See you on Sunday mum x.”

His father, Robert, will be at Wembley, but Yeta will wait at home for the phone call, telling her the fight is over.

“My old man will be there again, but I don’t really let my mum come to my fights,” said Joshua. “I’ve banned her. It’s not a place where you want to see your kid, I don’t think, at a fight. My dad can watch it, but not my mum.

“She is confident enough in me to watch, but I would rather she not be there. One of my cousins will call her after the fight. She enjoys it all, though, and she gets a few freebies.”

He might be multi-million pound athlete and brand, but Joshua still lives with Yeta, a social worker, on a modest street in north London.

“We’re very close, we always have been from day one, he’s my only son,” said Joshua’s mum. “We live together and he’s always looking out for me. I still can’t watch his fights, I get really nervous and I do worry about him.”

Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr has confirmed that a host of friendly games have been lined up for the team later in the year.

Rohr revealed talks are underway for a high profile friendly game with the German national team.

The senior national team will be heavily involved in AFCON 2019 and World Cup 2018 qualifiers later in the year, starting from the AFCON qualifiers against South Africa on June 10.

Rohr is eager to test a host of players before using them in competitive games.

He told Brila FM, “We have made contact with top executives in the German FA about a friendly, so we could play them.”

A member of the German FA confirmed how well talks have progressed. He added that although talks have been initiated, little progress has been made.

“There has been contact with Nigeria over a friendly game but that is all I know about the proposed tie. “Maybe in the coming days more will be revealed .
