Hello Folks, Currently considering an offer with oilserv limited for a lead role at Abuja. I want to know anyone who is currently working with them or have worked with them not too long for advice on how staffs are treated, welfare, career progression etc to aid my decision.

It depends on the coy's policy. Of course you would start working soon enough, but for some firm you would have to work three or six months on probation before getting access to all the benefits accrued to you.

I pray we all succeed in our career this 2021.

sometimes recruitment processes can be so exhausting and tiring.

A friend of mine got offer letter from a multinational and was told she will be contacted for her medical and it has been 3 months now. Feedback received sept says she would be contacted for her medical in due time.

I don't know if she should still be hopeful or move ahead.

Advise please

Who told you they sent a regret mail to those who had the final interview ?

They will eventually send regret mails so everyone will get closure. There are people with ABC forms and no offers so same boat as people without ABC forms.

there are also folks without the ABC forms and have offers too

I doubt if anyone receives a regret mail from shell after the final interview. we are all in the dark looking unto Jesus for his Favor

Shell may not announce all the results at the same time. People will be placed as roles become open. So all those that passed the interview will be placed on stand by. They may be called up depending on available openings.

Was the roles not open before they invited for interviews.

They should get over with this already ♥️

Well, based on my previous applications with shell back in the years. the form was sent to me and I still got rejected. That is why I said personally but I could be wrong though. However, process seemed a bit different this time. As a busy person,I do not have all the time to be on nairaland.

Busy doing what biko you claimed to have received the offer or were you speaking in faith or wanting to be noticed.

it is time we comment what is factual or we allow the process plays out. Do not tension anyone on this platform with your imaginations or assumptions

Ok guys, I personally believe that the ABC form was for people who were going to get rejected.
They'll send a mail however the outcome. Please don't get high BP over this. It's not worth your health.

How did you come to this conclusion. was it not on this thread we were told they have called those with forms reading them offers. Or do you just feel like making comments when you are bored.

I've been silent cos i dont really know why the ABC went out. It is a standard part of the application process that everyone fills. Why they sent another one is beyond me.

I know the Finance list is ready. In fact a few people already started receiving calls today. Like i said, people just keep mum about this stuffs.
By next week, offers will likely roll in. Expected resumption remains June.

Are those getting offers only those who got the ABC forms ?

You’re right. Maybe the form isn’t even meant for all. It may be for people that work in places where there may be potential conflict of interest with shell

absolutely very true.

I believe it will happen as long you have not received the rejection e-mail. i was told from my last interview my recruiter will get back to me on the out come of our interview when i asked.

We should be hopeful even as we await their feedback. Shell is an ethical organization and wont keep you on the dark with your application process.
