It was obvious you suspended your brain in responding to the issues he raised.

You have no idea the kind of sensitive information a terrorist sympathizer has been a federal minister of communications.

He should either resign or resign.

Nigeria is not well built for his kind of character.

And appointing this kind of character explains the person of mr president
helinues:
Pantami is the new target for wailers to wail on.

The Buhari you people called a terrorist has been your president for almost 6 years, what would this wailing, gnashing of teeth bring? Absolutely nothing..

Even if Pantami resign, what different would that make? Is Buhari going to appoint Wailers as Pantami substitute?

Prince Charles responds to Prince Harry, Meghan Markle's tell-all interview

Prince Charles stepped out on Tuesday to visit a COVID-19 vaccine clinic in London, just two days after his son and daughter-in-law, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, made headlines for their tell-all interview about the royal family.

The son of Queen Elizabeth was asked for his reaction to the bombshell conversation by reporters but remained silent.

"He chuckled and carried on walking," tweeted The Daily Express' Richard Palmer.

No formal comment has been made yet by anyone in the royal family addressing what the Duke and Duchess of Sussex said about the lack of support they felt, mental health issues, and the vicious attacks by the U.K. tabloids.

Charles, 72, did reveal he already received the coronavirus vaccine because "I may be a little bit older," according to Sky News.

"As I have seen today, you have opened your church to the vaccine program for the whole community, and you have been collecting and distributing food to those who need it most, as I have also seen," he said at the engagement. "And if ever we needed an example of how to be a good Samaritan, we need look no further, if I may say so."

PRINCE HARRY SAYS MOM PRINCESS DIANA WOULD FEEL 'VERY ANGRY,' 'SAD', ABOUT ROYAL FAMILY FALLOUT

During Sunday's televised interview, Harry, 36, admitted there's "a lot to work through" between him and his father.

"I feel really let down because he's been through something similar," said Harry. "He knows what pain feels like. And Archie's his grandson."

Harry added, "I will always love him, but there is a lot of hurt that's happened. I will continue to make it one of my priorities to try to heal that relationship. But they only know what they know."

Harry also claimed he felt "trapped" within the royal family.

"I didn't see a way out," he explained. "I was trapped, but I didn't know I was trapped. Trapped within the system like the rest of the family. My father and my brother are trapped. They don't get to leave, and I have huge compassion for that."

PoliticsWhy We’re Laying Siege To Dino Melaye’s House – Police by EugeneLeeJnr(op): 9:45pm On Dec 28, 2018
Police officers laying siege on the residence of Dino Melaye are on a order to arrest him for his alleged involvement in an attack on their colleague, Nigeria Police has stated.

In a statement by the force’ Public Relations Officer, Jimoh Moshood, on Friday, the police said the senator alongside his ‘armed thugs’ shot one Sergeant Danjuma Saliu in July.

PREMIUM TIMES earlier reported that the Abuja residence of the lawmaker was occupied by police officers who are resolute in arresting him on sight.

“The Police operatives currently in the residence of Senator Dino Melaye are to effect his arrest to answer to the case of attempted culpable homicide on the shooting of a Police Officer, Sgt Danjuma Saliu, attached to 37 Police Mobile Force (PMF) while on duty at a stop and search point along Aiyetoro Gbede, Mopa Road in Kogi state.

“The above offence was committed by Senator Dino Melaye and his armed thugs in Kogi State on the 19th July, 2018 when they shot and wounded a police officer, Sgt Danjuma Saliu, attached to 37 Police Mobile Force (PMF) while on duty at a stop and search point along Aiyetoro Gbede, Mopa Road in Kogi state.

“The Police Officer is yet to recover from the gunshot injury he sustained during the attack and still under intensive medical care,” the statement reads.

It further noted that the force had made efforts to effect the arrest through the National Assembly clerk as is usually the custom.

The police will continue with the siege until the lawmaker is arrested, the statement added.

“The Police investigators have written the Clerk of the National Assembly for Senator Dino Melaye to report at Kogi State Police Command, CIID, Lokoja for him to answer to these offences against him under investigation in Kogi State Police Command but he has bluntly refused to report himself to the Police.

“The Police operatives will continue to be in wait at the residence of Senator Dino Melaye until he surrenders himself for arrest. The offence for which Senator Dino Melaye is being investigated is capital in nature and not compoundable.

“The Force will not tolerate attack on its personnel by any individual no matter how highly placed. The law must take its course.”

This is the latest in the strings of allegations the police had levelled against Mr Melaye.

It is also the fourth time the police will be attempting to arrest the senator who is currently on a court bail for a separate charge.

The lawmaker earlier told journalists on phone that he was not in the house, a claim the police believe is not true

One of the key lessons of life I learnt as a five year old is that you can't eat your cake and still dream of retaining it. Then at 10 years old, I also learnt that the greatest tragedy that can befall a man faced with a problem of choice is to be indecisive at the most crucial moment. Senator shehu Sani didn't learn these two very important lessons I learnt at the age of ten.He wanted to eat his cake and have it, run with the hare and hunt with the hound. At the critical moment of decision making, he joined others to book his flight out of Apc, went to the airport, collected his boarding pass and refused to board the flight out Egypt. He is now on the shore,on the banks of River Jordan, not in Egypt neither is he among the brethren on the March to Canaan. What will happen to him Now?

PoliticsNigeria Air" Was Open Stealing By Buhari by EugeneLeeJnr(op): 7:22pm On Oct 09, 2018
"Nigeria Air" Was Open Stealing by Buhari

The Buhari government is an out-and-out criminal enterprise, details of which will only manifest when Buhari is voted out of office in 2019. The "Nigeria Air" project was a daring, unabashed theft of public resources.

It turned out that the five companies Aviation Minister Hadi Sirika mentioned as "partners" of the Nigeria Air project – Catamaran Nigeria Limited, Aubert Business Consulting (ABC) U.K., Arup U.K., RDC Aviation Economics U.K., and Olawoyin & Olawoyin Nigeria--were never even aware of the project.

See their letter denying any involvement with Nigeria Air or receiving any payment from the Nigerian government. So where did the N1.2 billion spent on the project go? How about the hundreds of millions of naira given to a Bahraini company to design the colorless, uninspiring Nigeria Air logo? Yet this corrupt government has the gall to accuse its opponent of being corrupt.

PoliticsAg. President Osinbajo Is NOT The Commander-in-chief Of Armed Forces [PHOTOS] by EugeneLeeJnr(op): 10:16am On May 30, 2017
In the absence of Nigeria's President, Muhammadu Buhari, his deputy, Yemi Osinbajo addressed the nation on May 29, a day that marks 18th year of Nigeria's democratic dsispensation. Buhari had been in London on a medical vacation for an undisclosed ailment.

His deputy, Mr. Osinbajo, a lawyer, and pastor, warned against actions capable of undermining the sovereignty of Nigeria, saying the country "belongs to all of us." He said this in the Democracy Day speech at the wee hours of Monday.

According to him, "as we all daily preoccupy ourselves with pursuing the Nigerian dream, which is the desire to better Nigerians' lives and circumstances vigorously and honestly, it is inevitable that grievances and frustrations will arise from time to time.

But while he gave the address, it was evident that behind him were positioned, two Nigerian flags, as opposed to the usual and normal four.

In 2016 Democracy day broadcast, President Buhari delivered the speech behind four flags; 2 National flags, and 2 Flags of Nigeria's Armed Forces – that symbolises the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces.

But these Armed Forces' flags were missing while Vice/Acting President Osinbajo delivered May 29, 2017 democracy day speech. Could this mean that the Acting President is not the Commander in Chief?

Already, there are schemes in the nation's seat of power by some powerful forces close to the President.

PoliticsCJN Slot: Buhari Under Pressure, As Plot To Sideline Onnoghen Thickens by EugeneLeeJnr(op): 3:22pm On Jan 09, 2017
ABUJA—Pressure has continued to mount on President Muhammadu Buhari to forward the name of the Acting Chief Justice of Nigeria, CJN, Justice Walter Onnoghen, to the National Assembly to be confirmed as the substantive CJN before February 10. Chief Justice of the Federation, Justice Walter Onnoghen taking the oath of office before the President at the State House, Abuja. Photo by Abayomi ADESHIDA 10/11/2016 Onnoghen, who is presently the most senior Justice of the Supreme Court, is the first Southern jurist to qualify for the judiciary top-job in about 30 years. However, his confirmation as the substantive CJN seems to hang in the balance owing to alleged moves by “some highly-placed forces,” to sideline him to enable a northern jurist to take over. A top source at the apex court told Vanguard last night that “conspiracy” to push Onnoghen out upon expiration of his acting tenure has further thickened. According to the source who craved anonymity, “Emergence of Onnoghen as the substantive CJN is now in the hands of God. I can authoritatively tell you that the plan is to frustrate his validation by the National Assembly until February 11. “As I am talking to you, there is fear that those bent on ensuring that a Southerner does not head the judiciary at this point in time, especially during the tenure of President Buhari, may have concocted adverse security report against Justice Onnoghen. “Their plan is to submit the security report, which will raise sundry corruption allegations against Justice Onnoghen to the Senate, few days to the expiration of the three months acting period.” Specifically, going by section 321(5) of the 1999 Constitution, Onnoghen will vacate his position as the acting head of the judiciary in 33 days time. The section provides that the appointment “shall cease to have effect after the expiration of three months from the date of such appointment, and the President shall not re-appoint a person whose appointment has lapsed.” Buhari had on November 10, 2016, okayed Onnoghen to head the judiciary in acting capacity following retirement of the immediate past CJN, Justice Mahmud Mohammed. Already, a Lagos based lawyer, Chief Malcolm Omirhobo, has gone to court to challenge President Buhari’s delay in forwarding Onnoghen’s name to the National Assembly for confirmation. Omirhobo is praying the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja, to compel President Buhari to immediately forward Onnoghen’s to the Senate. Remarkably, the next in rank to Justice Onnoghen is a northerner, Justice Ibrahim Muhammad, who hails from Bauchi State. Justice Ayo Irikefe, who held sway as the CJN in 1985, was the last Southerner that headed the apex court. After him, subsequent occupants of the position came from the North. Justice Mohammed Bello took over from Irikefe from 1987 to1995, Justice Muhammadu Uwais served between 1995 and 2006; Justice Alfa Belgore (2006-2007), Justice Idris Kutigi (2007-2009), Justice Aloysius Katsina-Alu (2009-2011), Justice Aloma Mukhtar (2012-2014) and Justice Mahmud Mohammed, who served from 2014 till November 10, 2016. Meanwhile, among those asking President Buhari to forward Onnoghen’s name for confirmation include retired Judges and Senior Advocates of Nigeria. A retired Justice of the Supreme Court, Olufunlola Adekeye had earlier stressed that non- confirmation of Onnoghen as the substantive CJN was capable of truncating reforms in the judicial sector.

PoliticsGambia’s Jammeh Following Buhari, Mahama’s Footsteps – Falana by EugeneLeeJnr(op): 3:03pm On Jan 09, 2017
The Gambia’s president, Yahya Jammeh’s decision to ignore a call to hand over power peacefully by the Economic Community of West African Communities was following in the footsteps of other presidents within the region, human rights lawyer, Femi Falana, has said.
In a statement on Sunday, Mr. Falana said Nigeria’s Muhammmadu Buhari and Ghana’s former president, John Mahama, lack the moral right to ask Mr. Jammeh to hand over because they ignored rulings handed down by the ECOWAS court last year.
Mr. Jammeh, who came to power in a bloodless coup in 1994, suffered a surprise defeat in the hands of Adama Barrow in the December 1presidential election.
After initially accepting defeat, the incumbent Gambian president, who had ruled the country with an iron fist, reversed his position and called for fresh election.
The ECOWAS in an emergency meeting in Abuja last month set up a Mediation Team co-chaired by Messrs Buhari and Mahama to ensure a hitch free political transition programme in The Gambia.
But Mr. Jammeh has sworn not to hand over power or quit office.
Although ECOWAS is deliberating deploying troops to force Mr. Jammeh out of office if he clings to power beyond January 19, 2016, the head of the regional body, Liberia’s president, Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, told journalists on Saturday that they would continue to pursue a peaceful mediation and transfer of power.
“While urging President Jammeh to hand over power peacefully and allow the Supreme Court of The Gambia to determine his election petition in line with the rule of law we call on both Nigeria and Ghana to also respect the rule of law by complying with the judgments handed down last year by the Community Court of Justice which indicted them for the abuse of the human rights of two community citizens,” said Mr. Falana, a senior advocate of Nigeria.
“In the case of Obioma Ogukwe v Republic of Ghana the Ecowas Court ordered the defendant to pay the sum of $250,000 to the plaintiff as reparation over the failure to investigate and bring to book those who caused the death of his 15-year old son by drowning on October 15, 2013, at Tema, in Ghana.
“The judgment which was delivered on June 17, 2016, was disobeyed by the Mahama administration without any justification.
“In the case of Col Sambo Dasuki v Federal Republic of Nigeria the Ecowas Court ordered the defendant to admit the plaintiff to bail pending the determination of the criminal cases pending against him at the federal high court and the federal capital territory high court.
“As the federal government could not justify the prolonged detention of the criminal suspect the court awarded N15 million damages in his favour. Since the judgment was delivered on October 4, 2016, the Buhari administration has not adduced any reason for treating it with contempt.”
According to Mr. Falana, since it is public knowledge that both Nigeria and Ghana are in contempt of valid and subsisting judgments of the ECOWAS Court, President Jammeh would justify his disdain for the rule of law by questioning the moral integrity of the leaders of the two nations to enforce a resolution of the body on democracy in The Gambia.
“To avoid such avoidable embarrassment I am compelled to call on President Buhari of Nigeria and President Nana Akufo-Addo of Ghana to ensure that they purge their countries of the contempt of the juridical organ of the Ecowas without any further delay,” said Mr. Falana.
