You don't have any action here. When your Visa is stamped it would be sent back to vfs. You will go to vfs in person to collect. What you should do is wait for a mail from vfs.

Documents overload may work against you, my opinion. So if possible just put what directly is relevant to validate your claims and attach the table of content to make it organized for the officer reviewing them

If table of content is not included, that doesn't affect the application? I had table of contents but my documents were lots, I compressed, compressed until compressor said no more compression. Then I remove some documents including table of contents.

I'm sure you got the message. It doesn't have to be Ghana, I only mentioned Ghana as an example of countries without Visa. There are about 44 or more countries that one can visit without visa. Even you mentioned you had no extensive tour of other countries but at least you had travel history, just not extensive.

I also said nothing is impossible with God, so even with zero travel history, one can still get a visa.

PS: the fact that people scam doesn't mean that genuine people shouldn't go to Ghana to build travel history. I started with those countries and it worked for me. How you sell yourself and your story matters too.

Please be extremely wary of the bolded countries. It backfires at the embassy. They are aware Nigerians do this simply for travel history and not genuine tourist purpose.
I got my first US visa as a first time applicant, with no extensive tour of other countries.

Just for new guys planning to apply for a Visa for the first time. Especially if the purpose is tourism, try to go to even Ghana, Dubai, kenya even Togo sef will stamp your passport at the land border. It is difficult to convince me that you are a tourist yet you have never left Nigeria before and the first place you want to tour is the US. There should be a build up.

Travelling on a budget is my speciality. There are cheap ways to build travel history.

I also believe nothing is impossible with God sha but it's always better to plan well.

Dont worry, just keep trying and preferably around 1am when the site doesn't have much traffic. Fill the form and replace the DS160 number in the appointment portal. 2 months sef for a visit is too much in my opinion. For the purpose of this visit, say something like 3 weeks or a month max, afterall your sister has already gone for her training. What do you need 2 months for when you have a business and child to take care of.

Without trying to sound mean, people should take out time to read the thread you are interested in before jumping to ask question. Instead of just asking same question HOW CAN I JOIN or WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS. The information is there, invest in search for knowledge, but we like to always be spoonfed. This thread isnt even long na compared to canada student thread for example or Express entry thread, you go read tire.

My point is nobody owes anyone anything, if you even see who answer your question, say thank you at least.

Surprisingly we were allowed to carry phone and bag sef. I dunno why sha. But it would be better you don't carry any device to be safe.

I won't advise any simple applicant to use the old portal again. I may be familiar with it, but it seems IRCC is updating it process to favour the new system. Just like the citizenship application, the new online citizenship application system users get faster response more than the old paper applicants. Change is difficult, but it is neccessary when the potential benefits outweigh the negative risks. All the best.

It can be annoying honestly. It is just too late to regret using Gckey. 30th oct applicant yet eligibility has not started. Imagine people that used the new platform in january are getting PPR update in February.

Hmmmmm. This is a very delicate issue that shouldn't be taken with levity. It is a known fact that no govt issued ID should cross country without the bearer whose name is on it. You dont even know the gravity of this thing. Some things are not excusable, ignorance inclusive. Most importantly my people, dont cry more than the bereaved before you are seen as an enemy of progress.

I was trying to be civil because I didnt know the laws regarding proxy application and cross border movement of passport document without the authorized holder but all I will say now is that Nigerians are not good people. They go to any length to satisfy their individual agenda. It was also because of the attitude of some nigerians that dropbox was suspended. This is even a pilot project . At the end they'll make a decision on whether they want to continue with dropbox program or not

what does info sharing mean, I saw on my GCMS notes. Info sharing: Complete. what are they sharing sef

It is a one page document with a PIN. You just upload it alongside all other documents. IRCC knows what to do with it.
