Actually, my university has to send the official transcript there prior to my arrival. I’ve read it well, they may revoke the admission if it isn’t sent by them.

Please I just got 75% scholarship to study in University of Oulu in Finland. They said I have to send my certificate prior to arriving there,I’m confused if I’ve to send original or copies of it.

As far as I know there is no con. But going for a 1 year course means you’ll get a 1 year post graduation work permit. If you’re looking to apply for PR (permanent residence) it might be such a short time to to work and gain experience which would boost your CRS score for the PR application. Except you already have about 3 years of work experience.

Field work is part of it but research is optional.

To the best of my knowledge, scholarships for coursework studies are quite limited (compared to research). You will need to check the scholarship available at UniMelb itself that you qualify for as a starting point. The CoVID crisis also may also reduce scholarship options available generally.

Let me just chip in something here from my years of experience.

It is no do or die for you to have your PPA in a Oil company.

Teaching in a secondary school is one of the best ways of preparing you for the competition in the job market.

How?

When you teach, you read a lot a keep your brain very busy.

I taught Geography and Mathematics during my NYSC. It was quite refreshing. There is always usually mathematics in most aptitude test questions. Teaching keeps your brain active.

If you have an Opportunity in an Oil company fine, but if you don't, just go and teach. You will also gain from it.
