He is a lot bigger now in every aspect, a very beautiful stud boy. From a pedigree lineage and is long coat. I’d post better photos later. He’s taller than my Willow is now. Willow on the other hand is 26 inches at the shoulders. Beautiful puppies I pray for. Amen. Watch this space*

How is it a mix? That’s a pure GSD na... it’s a single pup, you know the kind nutrients wey dey e body? DNA and nutrition made him very big.

The guy is actually right by saying it’s a mix from previous parents, might not be the direct parents, but somewhere in the Lineage, there is a mix which manifested in this puppy, The mother may have come out looking like an OK Gsd but somewhere in her lineage, there could be a rott mix which manifested in the Singleton pup.

It’s either that or the dam found her Way to a different dog before the owner took her for mating

For a 5 months old female German shepherd? Ah! Oga, this size is perfect for a female gsd of this age. Some might say she’s bigger than she’s meant to be sef.

Infact she is too big for a 5 month old dog. She should be atleast 6 or 7 month old

Getting a better quality dog will not be a bad idea, However it should not be cos some people told you it’s not big for 6 months

Milady is fine,we went for a check up today at the vet and we made a new friend.lol (her pics below)

In btwn,has anyone wondered what causes ego/pride in pedigree owners that makes them all so suffocating and annoying at the same time,?!
Infact I’m getting a pedigree dog soon to see if it’s their dogs that makes them pompous or sth, to me they somehow feel big like on top of the world

Could it be that they were only confident but you saw them as proud?

I have experienced it first hand as well with a Gsd.
Caucasians are also suceptible to the condition. Your dog can get better if proper nutrition is given to it as it looks slightly larger than most dogs with the condition “Pituitary Dwarfism” but it may never grow as large as a large size adult Gsd

I understand that this guy stud fee is too high, and personally not reasonable for such a dog, as I didn’t see any desirable trait that would make me pay that much.
But 15k for a ped Gsd stud in Lagos? I think I am interested in meeting that person

The guy is right, your stud fee is quite high, you may not get request for him at that price.
He looks good, but you should look at what is spectacular about him that would make people go for him at that price rather than an equally good male for a lesser price.
You called him a Czech working line, does his pedigree proves that?

No sir, there is no law that states that. Working lines comprises of both sable and Black Nd Tan, amongst other coat variation.
A Czech or DDR can be either sable or Black and Tan, depending on the intention of breeding, There is absolutely nothing wrong breeding a Black and Tan to a Sable German Shepherd.
These dogs may not be ped, but there is nothing wrong in breeding them.

I am not disputing the owners choice. It's just only logical to promote the same gene not mixture. I believe gsd is the most violated(gene wise) dog we have in this country. Mixtures are just too much.

Mixtures in what exactly? And how is this a violation of Gsd? Mating a Gsd with a Gsd of different coat colour is a violation of gene?

You do not have to worry, clearly all pups came out black Nd Tan as dam has a dominant black colour.
And FYI that coat color of the male is not bad, he is quite a good specimen
