unpredictedone: I was privileged to watch an attack by those bandits called bokoharam, mehn it wasn't something to watch twice neither experience
You mean the video of Boko Haram's attack on Giwa barrack?

We are gradually loosing this war; Damboa has collapsed and now Gwoza has also fallen. Where did the 3Trillion naira defence budget from 2011 till date go to?

juman: You people should allow us to do our things. Let people move around and do their businesses.

With these kind of behaviors of you people lagos target to become a real mega city is a joke.
Our culture would make Lagos even be more of a mega city.

The Olu of Ikeja, Oba Rauf Matemi Amore, passed on and the whole of Ikeja, the capital of Lagos was awashed with Oro initiates from all over Lagos. I also had to travel down to Lagos for this purpose.

If you like it or not; our culture, tradition and belief wont die.

Eko oni baje
Ikorodu oni daru

obi123: while we are happy that in the 21st century some of our African culture is still practiced today , why though must people be made to feel threatened by it, why must i be held hostage in my own home because a king died?

culture must be engaging to ensure its continuity and interest, why must movement be restricted because a king died? culture must be accommodating to others who are not part of it, hassle like this is what brings hostility towards certain practices and they are seen to be backward thus people turn their noses at it and refuse to understand it.
Mr Obi

This is Ikorodu, this is Lagos, this is Yorubaland. If you feel uncomfortable with our culture GO BACK TO IBOLAND

juman: They are not more yoruba than other yorubas in other religions.

Their barring people from living their lifes is breach of law
Nobody is barring people from living their lifes.

I am an adherent of the Oro and i'v got no problem with moslem and christian holidays and festivities. you lot should also leave us alone and let us do our thing occassionally

muyeeoo: If you are educated you will understand the implication of restricting movement because of a forsaken tradition that is not accepted by all. That is the problem. nobody is saying they should not do whatever ritual they deem fit to celebrate but restricting movement and even going ahead to kill innocent people in the name of culture is stupid and barbaric
No one is restricting your movement. If you know you are man enough, you can go outside when the Eluuku Deity is in procession

SirShymex: Leave my Ijebu folks alone!!

That's how Ijebu culture - our own Christmas, Easter, Boxing day, and bank holiday.

Long live Ijebu people - our culture will never die.

If you don't like it - go to ya village! grin
SirShymex

I am a devotee of the Oro pantheon. I was with the Oro procession during the burial of the late Olu of Ikeja, Oba Rauf Matemi Amore.

I should have currently been in Ikorodu also if not for the engagement i have in preparation for the Osun-Osogbo festival that'l commence on monday

Our culture, belief and tradition will never die

Yeeeeeepa Oro Baba oooo !

So you want them to forfeit their culture because of your own convenience?

checkdate: WHERE I CAN SEE OUR MILITARY RECAPTURING THE SAID GWOSA HILLS
Did i hear you say Gwoza Hills? Bros abeg dont believe this 'feel-good' liars. As we write, Gwoza town itself is under the control of Boko Haram, talk less of Gwoza Hills which is an impregnable fortress for them.

Check out google image of the Gwoza Hills

This news is a false report from the Defence HQ. The same way they initially lied that they have rescued the Chibok girls.

As we write now, Gwoza is in the hands of Boko Haram. They'v hoisted their black flag all over the town
PoliticsRe: BREAKING: Boko Haram Captures Another Borno Town by Evergreeen123: 8:56pm On Aug 06, 2014
duni04: Olisa Methu will now come and blame Buhari while forgetting that Jonathan has collected $14 billion from the federal coffers since 2011 to fight boko haram with nothing to show for it. Boko haram is slowly gaining territory in the North and our commander in chief is junketing around the world, trying out new suits and laundering more money. Those of you that still see nothing wrong with Jonathan's presidency are either born mad or have deliberately chosen to be mad.
May your days be long

The territorial intergrity and sovereignty of Nigeria is under threat. Jonathan is a weak and corrupt president, with him, we cannot win this war against terror

within the last three years 3Trillion Naira had been spent on defence yet Boko Haram seems to be getting stronger by the day, taking towns after towns. Damboa is gone and now Gwoa has fallen

I recently heard about TAN- Trasnformation Ambassdors Of Nigeria. They are 'employed' and paid to launder Gej's image on the social media for just 30K per month.

Smh for the Nigerian youth

Rather than the Nicon Hotel in Abuja, you can as well have your meeting inside the potholes on the Apapa road; a federal road your worthless president neglected in Lagos
PoliticsRe: Lagos Recognised As Best Pension Compliance State by Evergreeen123: 5:42pm On Aug 06, 2014
I can beat my chest and confidently say that the SouthWest esp Lagos-Ogun-Oyo can survive with their IGR alone without federal allocation from Abuja.

I earnestly long for true federalism, regionalism and resource control

Abagworo: Igbos are being used as a fishing bait for 2015 elections by fellow Igbos because of money. They are trying to create an Igbo vs other Nigerians crisis with Jonathan as the fish while Igbos are the bait. Ijaws are neutral, Yorubas are neutral, Hausa/Fulanis are neutral, Ogbiya(Jonathan's ethnic goup) are neutral. Any Igbo man that attempts to be neutral is called saboteur and attacked by Jonathan's employees but Jonathan himself is neutral.
SUCCINCT

'I voted Gej and not PDP' that was the same cliche that was in vogue during the 2011 presidential campaign/election untill we all discovered that Gej is also part and parcel of the old order .

What is peter obi?
