My dear I just heard from someone that submitted since 4th of October and he is still waiting. Honestlythis is unfair
Are you serious? What is wrong then?
TravelRe: Italy Visa by Everly14: 9:26am On Nov 24, 2023
Does this imply that no one has had their visa approved since October? Let's keep each other informed. I have a conference next Wednesday, and I haven't received any communication from the embassy yet.
TravelRe: Italy Visa by Everly14: 7:01pm On Nov 23, 2023
Please inform us once you receive a response from the embassy as we are traveling next week. I'm counting on your assistance for my conference, which is about kick-starting.

Proceed, as long as you provide your wedding certificate.

damkanlinsin:
That a big red flag ooo because your wedding certificate date will tell and how fast are you to marry under a month. Just give it some time and reapply 6 month is good.
He stated that he is already married; however, the agent failed to mention it. He is married and simply needs to indicate it when reapplying.

I understand this may not be the appropriate thread for Italy tourist visa inquiries. I completed my biometrics on October 20th, and my departure is scheduled for November 30th, but I haven't received a response. Should I consider reaching out to their embassy? Seeking advice from fellow brothers and sisters.

if you are earning 180k per m, they will know you want to Japa, and they will refuse you visa.
Your statement isn't entirely accurate.

pappy2000:
hello if you are earning 180k per month and with a balance of 3m in your account, can you use this to apply for visitors visa
The closing balance of 3 million is acceptable, but what truly matters is the consistent flow of cash in and out, aligned with your salary.

Yes It’s my first time, my expected date of travel was sept 30
Ok. It's your biometrics and expected date of travel was close. Anyway, wait for your passport, I believe they will give explanations there.

You can seek asylum if you have the legal back up to back up your claims. You don’t just claim asylum oo.
Give example of a legal back up please.

TravelRe: Things I Found Out About Sweden! by Everly14: 10:44am On Nov 11, 2023
CalmTravels:
Be careful what you submit. Once a name enters records as an asylum applicant, it will take a special intervention to get any other visa/permit, especially if the asylum application is rejected. ANY INFORMATION YOU SUBMIT OR USE STAYS FOR A LONG TIME.

The EU practice a central information database for migration. I hope some people will use this information well.
As I've mentioned before, proceed with your endeavors. The path to emigration through asylum isn't universally illegal; it varies based on individual circumstances. Declaring that Nigerians are universally denied asylum in Europe reflects a significant level of ignorance. In fact, 70% of Nigerians legally residing in Europe entered through the asylum process.

Share your experiences, but avoid generalizing others as uninformed, as hastily copying statistics from Google doesn't necessarily demonstrate true expertise.
TravelRe: Things I Found Out About Sweden! by Everly14: 8:50am On Nov 11, 2023
CalmTravels:
This is my last response to you, it appears you are up to no good.

Yes, its best for anyone wishing to leave Nigerian to make their application through a 3rd country. rather than from Nigeria. So far, Rwanda, WITH ITS OPEN DOOR POLICY, happens to offer the easiest integration required to get the needed approval for 3rd country applications. That is if people like you dont come here with your "LEARNER" kind of stuffs.
The reasons are obvious: Documentations from Nigeria are not verifiable. No database for prompt and easy verification by 3rd parties. Just like what you are here dishing out that Nigerians dont apply for asylum with their real identifications. Who told you that? You have no idea what potential damage you are may cause an already battered image. How you seem to have access to thei applications to ascertain thei IDs beat my imagination. No be post you go comment, or anything wey enter your head you go talk on SM.

If you need FREE consultation so you dont have to choose asylum route rather than school, work or business, let me know. We have a scheme for the less privileges'
You believe everyone on Nairaland resides in Nigeria, hence why I referred to you as a learner. Continue your activities, but refrain from portraying everything as inexpensive to exploit the naive. Emigrating from Nigeria is no simple task. Discuss the challenges in education – how many Nigerians can truly afford foreign university fees? Or are you referring to jobs typically reserved for Caucasians? Provide accurate information instead of deceiving them, given your supposed statistical expertise.

As mentioned before, I sympathize with those who struggle to utilize the internet for meaningful pursuits.
TravelRe: Things I Found Out About Sweden! by Everly14: 12:28pm On Nov 10, 2023
CalmTravels:
Sorry my dear i am certainly a learner in illegal stuffs. So if they dont use their Nigerian identity why called them Nigerians? Identify them with their chosen Nationality.

Now, you might not have access to Govt data which i do, that is why you say what you say. A staggering 91.5% of all protected persons due to asylum failed to be properly integrated in European way of life. Check your Local council database
Consider who's discussing illegality. You've been enticing vulnerable individuals into your deceptive consultancy. Why are you encouraging Nigerians to apply for a Swedish visa through Rwanda? I feel sorry for those who may not utilize the available internet resources.
TravelRe: Things I Found Out About Sweden! by Everly14: 9:04am On Nov 10, 2023
CalmTravels:
No worries bruh. Assert what you wish, the facts speaks for its self! 14,000 Nigerians set to be deported from Germany, even those with children, and who have mutilate their IDs.

That brings it on why Nigerian should seek asylum? Honestly there is no single reason. A Nigerian seeking asylum is one of the reason why the Whites believe Nigerian documentations might be fraudulent.

If you have one single reason why a Nigerian should be granted asylum, let me know.

Political persecution? Hahhahahahah. Currently, Nigeria, Ghana & South Africa has the best DEMOCRACY in Africa. Visit other African countries to seek how oppositions, critics are treated. See how President Tinubu is been dragged home and abroad. War?

Rather than asylum people should focus more on getting a job, schooling or starting a business to japa as these are the only route available for Nigerians.

Besides the few persons granted asylum in the West during the hey days of Boko Haram, i dont think there is any Nigerian currently offered asylum. And these re kids and their families!
Lol. Who told you that Nigerians seek asylum with their Nigerian identity? It seems you are a learner.
TravelRe: Things I Found Out About Sweden! by Everly14: 9:18pm On Nov 09, 2023
CalmTravels:
Asylum is the wrongest way to live in Europe. The moment you start living on freebies, then you will become lazy and will not amount to any useful thing in the future. Those with asylum documentation never get job opportunities and even grants that occasionally fret to individuals.
European social system is built on a welfare-contributory structure aka tax. The moment you live there and do not pay tax, forget it. Just a matter of time before the system swallows you up!

Somalis, Kenyans, Ethiopians, Iraqis, etc are victims of asylum mistake.
Your assertion seems inaccurate. I'm aware of Nigerian refugees granted asylum in Europe, leading productive lives, holding employment, and paying taxes. The system aims to aid individuals in rebuilding their lives and contributing to society once they stand on their feet. Let's refrain from distorting facts. Laziness is subjective and not necessarily linked to seeking asylum.

CalmTravels:
What can i do, or how can i stay in Sweden if i no longer meet the work permit threshold?

The new salary threshold means that a lot of people in Sweden on work permit are no longer qualified under the new rules. What other permits are there for people who want to stay in the country?

1. You can get Residence permit to move with or stay with a family member. This could be a Swede or an immigrant. Not mandatory they have to be a Swede, but they must have permanent or temporary residence. All they have to prove is that they can support you by having accommodation and large enough salary. In some cases (exception), large sums of money in situations where their salary can not, or is not large enough to support another person. This is the case regardless of any income or asset you as the permit applicant have. SO best you transfer such assets to the principal. For more details visit the Swedish migration agency website.

2. If your current employer will not be able to offer you a salary above this threshold, you may be lucky to find another employer. This is where our Advisory network comes into play.

3. If you are already in Sweden, then you can enroll to any Institution of learning and use this option to obtain a permit to continue living in Sweden. A lot of people might have this as a last option to stay in Sweden. Mind you there are deadlines for applying.

*NOTE.
A lot of Staffing/recruitment agencies in Sweden can still help out by recommending or actually seconding job seekers to Companies who are willing to pay the salaries according to the new rules. However, i give kudos to the Swedish Migration Agency for prior notifications since early this year. What any smart person could have done before now was to get a commitment from their respective employers if they would pay according to the new rules, otherwise they could have resign and start their job search early enough. Positive, then you have no worries. Negative, then you could have before now start reaching out to contacts especially Calm Travels for connections to MDs, prospective job openings and people with capacity to employ. In Sweden, as well as most developed countries, they dont take people by surprise, hence they inform before hand. Most of the people we actually focused on were those who earlier enough signed up to our Migration Advisory service.

However, Maybe, just maybe we could still help. But this is no guarantee as most companies are already rounding up for the year. But what better option than starting early so that by January, when work resume, you should have a Decision ready for you!

What you should do?
Sign up for CALM TRAVELS MIGRATION ADVISORY NETWORK ~ you will receive a Case N0, then always watch your mail box. Send CV when you are asked to send. Do not tarry, or start asking all sorts questions. You can't bribe your way through. The process must be followed to the last requirement. This is Europe, not some African settings where having close relationships with someone can help you cross the bridge. However, first thing first, follow the damn rules, then something might happen to help you win. Everyone is treated equally and with dignity. When you receive a mail advising you to send your CV to a job opening, send the damn cv, dont go trying to get some concessions or reaching out to us for clarifications. We usually dont respond to such mails. We do not give employment. Exception exists when we need such manpower. For now, we do not.
Why did you warn against seeking asylum in Sweden? Kindly explain Sir.
