They had a musical band playing; cadets were marching in unison, left right, left right. Their trousers and shirts painstakingly ironed with standing edges looking as though they were razor blades that could cut through anything in their way; their shining well polished black shoe which reflected the sun, so overwhelmed me, tried to fight back tears @ this point seeing this gentlemen officers doing their families and country proud. I could have being one of them, but I have solace in the fact that there is always a next time, will keep shooting this shot till the bull's eyes is hit.

Regarding the age, there's another candidate, a female soldier, screened out for age. The age she declared was not tally with the one on her waec and she made some calls and was later called back to continue with them. Her name came out on final list. Just do your home work very well and pray for God's favor. This age of a thing has dealt with me seriously and denied me a lot of chances on both airforce and army before I understand how it works.

Bros, if your age is different from the birth certificate/age declaration of that of WAEC, what can be done to bypass them thanks.

they will first of all report to their unit hq after den, they will now be posted out, some might be retained at the hq, some might be posted to NE directly it all depends on your luck but subsequently at the service, they sometime use long leg to get posted to places either for education purpose, money and other reasons best known to individuals

In summary....every vetting depends on the INT officer assign to carry out a cadets docus....
First tin is pray the int officer gets to ur parents house bfor embarking on PRImary to university vetting....nice reception by ur parents mite go along way...... from findings... Most int officers don't bother going to primary skol.....but ur Bsc or ur HND cert will surely be vett.
