As someone who has suffered in abuja.
Mine is wuse 4 near the market. I walked there a lot.

Anyway, I know of writing gigs that pay about 150$ monthly.
You don't need anything except you phone, data to make uploads and some free time.

I won't ask you for money, but when you make good money and are balance, I would ask you to find a person who truly needs it and build that person too.

If your interested mention.
I'll link you up.

I am interested in the writing gigs

Learning programming is all about passion and perseverance so ask yourself if you really have the passion or just because you think everyone is talking about IT.

I think you have to learn and build projects to be proficient in frontend before thinking of going the way backend to become a fullstack. you can follow this path to become a frontend developer: HTML, CSS, JAVASCRIPT and REACT in that other.

Yes you can start with your smartphone but you can't really do much with phone so if you have the means of getting a laptop, then go for it.
Thanks I appreciate broda

Mylordmygod1:
GOOD DAY NIRALANDERS

I wanted to start up a POS business with my savings of N65k, but the POS man that i consulted to assist me said i would need at least N150k to start up a POS business.

I've really been hustling everyday, doing hard works (especially on bulding sites), taking pain killer drugs on daily basis..

I don't think it will be easy for me to raised my savings up to that amount 'N150k' with the type of work that i do..

I wanted to travel to the city with my ND (National Diploma) result, so i can use it to look for work, I posted it here on nairaland, but 80% of the advice i got from this forum said it will be hard to see a paying job with ND result, while some said it is not even possible. So i couldn't travel again..

Now that my savings isn't enough to start up a POS business, i'm thinking of starting up a standard akara and akamu business and probably extend the business along the run..

As someone known by his people to have went to school, is the business worth the shame?
Broda starts anything legal in as much it's footing your bills, because no man will come to your aid due to the economic hardship in the land there is dignity in Labour

One principle you must imbibe is to always love yourself even if there is no reason for that, purge and move away from negative people that will not add any value to your life. Above all, positive socialization will boost your inner belief.

Your last statement is top notch,I get that often recently especially from people that have not even beeped you for once, they hit u up via your online update calling boss,Odogwu,Oga mi,they exercise small patience, let say a day or two and then go for the kill " can I get like 2k till month end".
I have really dropped plenty leeches this year to be honest, they don't improve you in anyway, just to suck you dry and look for their next victim
Truly,we don't need much people in our lives, only important people actually matter.
My kind hearted nature has led me into helping the wrong folks so many times.
These days I only folly round family (nuclear),business partners and my clients
It's well,shallom!!!
You just nailed it, some people using you as a pipe to suck and drain, boom, off they zoom you won't see them again. Till they need another help

I want to avoid this thread. It's becoming detrimental to my mental health. Applicants knowing top officials and buying slots with millions when I don't even know a councillor, and can't possibly boast of 20k..

I've failed my mum. Poor woman is still hoping I'd get a job someday and make her proud. What a life!!

My broda it's not easy as it is presently with the Nigeria situation, my piece of advice, look for a job even though with a meagre pay and start from there. Endeavor to research on a sellable digital skill, make it your passion, develop interest in it, learn it for a period of time as you look out for the outer world in monetizing it. The sky is your limit cheers.

A bird at hand is better than ten birds in the bush, as it says, "contract" it's for a stipulated period of time which can be terminated at any given time. I will advice keep your manufacturing job as an accountant, as you grow more opportunities will be knocking at your door step.
