I've come to learn that 'lack of respect' as the universal flaw most relationship face today.

Disrespectful being : Inconsiderate of your partners feeling.

Ask your partners opinion in EVERY decision you're to make. it makes a lot of difference in relationship and sets yours aside from others.

If you're nothing like them chances are you aren't friends perse but I get your point, there're still considered friends one way or the order .

Friendship has different meaning to different people so only you know where you stand.

For exampl, some women call themselves my friends behind my back maybe to them because we wave each other at functions or kids school parking lot we're friends but really deep down in my gut don't want them in my life for whatever reason and only doing so to be polite.

So that saying is contextual.

'Perfect family' being in what context?

There're different arrangements in families that're foreign to the other ears but still doesn't relinquish that family not perfect.

E.g Some fathers are never in the picture yet still married with kids faring well but if you see the family picture esp when he visits , it's deemed as perfect to outside world after all most people are out to please the public e.g Facebook etc. same goes for mothers in rare cases.

Some families practice open marriage where both spouse are allowed to court outside of marriage but are always present for kids graduations, dinners and family vacations every season, each person fulfil their assigned quota , will you ever call that not perfect?
