This is my second ODU, and I enjoyed using the first one so much that I decided to get another. 😄

Since they’re currently on promo (from ₦40,000 down to ₦25,000), I figured it made more sense to use my ₦25k to buy another ODU instead of paying for another subscription.

One thing I noticed, though, is that Airtel seems to have improved the ZLT network. On my first ODU, Band 7 always gave me the best performance. But on this new one, I couldn’t get more than 7 Mbps download speed at first.

Out of curiosity, I enabled all the available bands, and boom! 🚀 My download speed jumped to a minimum of 47 Mbps. That’s a massive improvement.

Has anyone else noticed this on the newer Airtel ODUs?

How many hours does this small IDU last with that powrbank?

Will they collect the remaining payment when it's not due date, I have a similar issue to op. I have half the money for a product, but want the device now, then spread the remaining payments.

Lurked around this group, got convinced Airtel’s network was better now, dusted off my SIM, and subscribed. Three days later, I’m still being reminded why I hadn’t subscribed on that SIM for the past seven months.

Sigh… another ₦25k wasted.

Once in a while they used to advertise cheaper data bundle. For instance, you may be browsing the next thing they will send a message asking you to buy like 32g worth of data for 5k or 12g worth of data for 3k.

If you do that 5k own once, they won’t take it away. I did it consecutively for the first 5months of this a year, stopped using the sim and I still have them offfer.

Most of us, we were not raised to be people friendly, hence, the deep introvert trait. My case is similar to yours but it is changing gradually, because I'm working on myself..

You’re so right on losing meaningful friendships part. I’ve made peace with my fate at this point, I don’t think anything can change tbh, even though it’s painful sometimes. There are some people I’ll really like to be friends with or at least have a relationship with. But I tried in the past, it was going well until it didn’t.

Over the years I have only had two friend in my entire life..I can't make new friends not like I care to. But I have always noticed since I was a teenager, people just stare and keep their distance. All what you said here is the exact truth. Just the main ilorin road is what this man touched. Most inner roads that leads to residential homes are still bad, no solid investment on health infrastructure in the state, the other local governments are even suffering more, almost like they're forgotten until it's election period.
