Increament in minimum wage is what we need at the moment, the money will circulate if minimum wage is raised to something like 50.000 naira. You are half baked student, subsidy must go it makes no sense at the moment
Why must you still believe this Government, can't you see their actions. They've denied about 80% of their campaign promises, what makes you feel that they won't deny if an agreement is eventually reached on a 50k minimum wage.

Stupid wailers Stupid NLC

No to subsidy. Nigerians have been duped for long enough. NLC you are on your own
Why will u walk out on minimum wage and be advocating for subsidy that places all our resources in a few hands
We have been paying subsidy for ages yet all we have gotten is increased fuel price, scarcity and economic sabotage.
God punish all of una !
Where were you in 2012? This Govt is very clueless, GEJ was about doing similar thing but this APC leaders protested seriously against it. As a result some percentageof the subsidy was removed. They should do same. Why are they adopting what they had previously condemned?

EFCC should pick him up as he steps out of the meeting. Its a good time to interview him. Nonsense angry
Total babyish reasoning. The president doesnt have a single idea to the solution nd which he's looking for a way out. All thanks to the SAs. Talking of arrest, its impossible cos GEJ is very free from corruption.

The present Govt. should have been innovative enough not to have adopted the solution of the former Govt.

koboko69:
So far, the the only reason so far given by the wailing wailers for not supporting the removal of subsidy is simply because "Tinubu" and "Fashola" were against it when Jonathan removed it. Most of these people were also amongst those who protested against the removal back then. But as it is today, its a game of looking for any opportunity to attack Buhari. grin

mynd44 and lalasticlala
Is it not enough reason, since they know better, they would formulated a different strategy. Why adopting the foolish man's solution you condemned as your own solution in a similar circumstances. They are myopic, no great minds.

Politics › Re: Oby Ezekwesili Speaks On Petrol Subsidy Removal by excel101(m): 7:30am On May 13, 2016
Amplitron:
The removal or non removal is not the actual issue. The issue is that the processes involved in the subsidy program is highly prone to corruption. hence, it is better to remove the subsidy.
Yes, you're on point, but the people removing the subsidy were the one that were against it wen GEJ wanted to remove it. They criticized GEJ, but @ same time implementing his programs

This is actually the right time to deregulate the downstream oil sector. What's the essence of paying exuberant subsidy to the major oil marketers when the price of oil has crashed in the market? Though I still think the 145 naira per litre is kind of too much{ maybe 120/115 naira per litre is ok and somehow understandable}, but the subsidy removal timing is spot on and every reasonable Nigerian should support it.
So GEJ's timing was wrong?

Nice response Mr. President.

This is a President.

Long live the Sage of Daura.

Long live PMB.

Cameron should get off his high horse. We all know who is harbouring the loots of the looters. Both the looter and the keeper of the loots are all thieves.
Have you forgotten so quickly, that you President Buhari made similar remark about Nigeria, in one of his foreign trips early this year.
Politics › Re: Buhari Reacts To David Cameron’s Corruption Comment On Nigeria by excel101(m): 11:09pm On May 10, 2016
What is new in Britain PM comment? Was it not the same President Buhari, that was telling leaders around the world that Nigeria is corrupt. What is Shehu saying is that President Buhari is not corrupt, is he sayin that Buhari is not a Nigerian. Thats exactly what you get from misguided utterances. Whatever goes around comes around.

Those that constitutes the tribunal are no fools. He should give proper evidence to his claims. The money he claimed to own authoritatively belongs to depositors in the liquidated bank(Societe Generale Bank), which belongs to his late father, which he was the then MD.

Who will use the roadshuh Nairalanders, what name should we call this guy for spewing this hocus-pocus? In March, a Minister died in Abuja-Kaduna expressway. After a month, 6 Medical Doctors or so from Ekiti still died on that spot. And just some few days back, some guys from Kano died in a road accident. Should we blame all those drivers? Are the roads good enough? Since you said we don't need road, I suggest your State Government untie all the roads leading to your community let's see how people would survive there. Think with your brain abeg!!

We also know how Jonathan empowered some Youths during his administration. Sure-P comes to mind. Who were the beneficiaries? Abeg joor. .Stop all this sh1t abeg. 2016 budget has come to stay!
Thats the mentality of your Likes, APCs, i expected you to be talking and hoping that the budgeted money is well implemented. Rather you're still comparing both regime budgets. For your info, GEJ is no longer the president o.
