Posts like these are the reasons why I broke up with my Ex. Zero financial accountability. The werey even made a statement one time saying that if I want her to be supporting in Paying the bills, I have to be ready to share my “Headship” as the Head if the family. Lol
Dear mean, never be too lazy to dump a lady that isn’t meeting up. Any lady that isn’t investing in the relationship should be kicked out! Period

Now, I can agree with you....but not completely (lol). Having a few bad experiences with Nigerian women should not be a yardstick for you drawing such conclusions.
You also, didn't notice that the paradigm has long shifted and Nigerian women are likewise, keying into the patriarchal role of providence? Have you not seen or heard of cases where women keep the family afloat? The world we live in has evolved so some of these archaic beliefs should be jettisoned. What I'm expecting to here is how women become boastful and arrogant when they start bringing "bread" to the table. Note that, that is spurious.

I totally agree with you on this, I shouldn’t use the experience of a few people as a yardstick to draw conclusion but like the saying goes “You learn from other people’s experiences”.

I get your point but any Nigerian Lady based in Nigeria that is worth dating is a lady that has things going well for herself there. Good Job, Booming Business, financially stable etc. anything short of that is absolutely a big red flag, ( At least for me). Also, the western system is very different from Nigeria, unlike Nigeria where only the man pays the bills.

Abroad girls especially those that migrated after degrees in Nigeria understand the systems very well and off course have the Nigerian cultural values imbibe in them. it’s not a joke. she is not currently working and finding it difficult to pay her bills.(living paycheck to paycheck from the per diem job she is doing)
I am just trying to support her pending when she gets a real job. I literally did the math yesterday, about $3k

exactly what I wanna do. but I really want her to be pained! This is a relationship that is less than 2 months but I have invested over $3k already. Indeed women don’t care about your sacrifice. I’m thinking of ghosting her and cutting her off all social media. I want her to wonder what she may have done to warrant me ghosting her.

I have reasons to believe that this girl still belongs to the streets. I sent her Valentines day gift it’s been over 6 hours she received it, she hasn’t opened it to give me a feedback.
I called her to check if she got the items and her response was “I will open it later” with a very uninterested vibe . All I see is lack of motivation and zero effort. Meanwhile on her Snapchat she shared valentine memories from up to 6 years ago with her previous Exes.

Sometimes I wonder what y’all ladies want. If y’all see a guy that loves you, you start misbehaving and bringing up dirty attitudes, if a guy doesn’t love you, y’all start complaining about him being a narcissist

I am a 34 year old male banker residing in Abuja. I also run a side hustle and I am doing very well for myself.
So I got into a new relationship lately after breaking up with my ex because she wasn’t invested enough in the relationship. This new relationship is going well, we are both intentional about what we want and I can feel the energy and the conscious efforts she is making already.
A couple of weeks ago she said she wanted to go hangout at a male’s friend place in Gwagwalada and she would be spending the night. I immediately lashed out on her and told her never to think of that again.
We were having a conversation few days back and I told her my dealbreakers is cheating . I told her even if I discovered she cheated on me after 10 years, I am going to act on it and I will call off whatever we have going on.
She started going back and forth with me telling me how my love is conditional and that I am unforgiving and she can’t be in a relationship with the thought that she will be sent packing anytime.
Is my standard for loyalty and transparency too high? or Am I unnecessarily being strict?
BTW, since I entered this relationship, I have cut off every female I would potentially cheat with because I think It would be hypocritical to expect what I can’t give from someone else and also because I respect her enough to not cheat on her.
