SmartProf: Don't panick further...just go and see a cardiologist...it is good the prognosis was made early. Sensitive health related results like this should also be handled privately, and not best shared on a public forum Thanks much. Got it. |

tenderlaw: What is really wrong with you people? Nairaland is not a hospital. They asked you to see your cardiologist and you're coming here to ask laymen questions? What is all this? Smile. Cardiologist dont consult for free and free money dont lie around all the time . Eventually I will. Thanks for your input though |

Health › Heart Attack: Any Cardiologist In The House by Exclusive4It(op): 10:49pm On May 27, 2020 |
I had been fasting for 25 days when this happened , I had an arguement with a friend ( football/ video game related ) which led me to me shouting on top of my voice thereby losing it afterwards . I began to experience tightness in my chest, palpitation and shortness of breath. I suspected the cause being High BP since my mom is suffering from it and it is hereditary for her. So after Ramadan, I decided to go do a blood pressure check, my blood pressure was 137/86, so the doctor advised I take ECG test which I did and the result came out as suspected myocardial infarction which when I googled came out as another name for heart attack, sure this got me scared especially because the doctor said nothing after handling me the test result, all he said was that I needed to see a cardiologist. I hope I can find some advise and help here as I am strapped on cash and cant afford to book an appointment with a cardiologist for now. Attached below is a copy for the test result .

Education › Re: Federal University Of Agriculture, Abeokuta 2016/2017 Admissions by Exclusive4It: 11:03am On Sep 12, 2016 |
pseudonomer: There is always a screening for the first batch and another screening for the second batch. Some people will miss out on first batch admission, some will not scale through the screening, some will reject the admission given to them, and some may not pay for the acceptance fees. So I guess there will be a second batch admission. There has always been! Just pray and push, if you can. Bro, been a while. How have you been? Been tryna reach you for a while now. It's Sijuola. |

Someone else posted this. One thing I deduce from both posts is that, let everyone who beat the Jamb Cut off Mark obtain the screening form of their individual institution of choice and go for the screening, then wait and see how things unfold.

Critical analysis and analytic opposition is not bad but as long as people doubt the existence of a supreme being with analysis then anything can be doubted, I saw this on the Internet and decided to share. Fine, the test running claim may sound bogus but there are other claims that are logical. One thing stands, I chose what to believe. I have decided to believe this, we are all at liberty to believe whatever we want anyway |

Bimffo: Ask questions. People are here to answer the questions..
When You talk, Your fellow students that are seeking admission too, will contribute.
This thread is too dull. Taking FUNAAB as a case study. Applicants were instructed to check back on 20th for the list of shortlisted candidates, jamb debunks the use of the point grading system, now by what criteria would Jamb use for the shortlisting or do applicants just pray and hope they are shortlisted without knowing on what basis the selection would be done |

Bimffo: This place is not bubbling YET.
NO FUNAAB Jambite on Nairaland? There are, everyone is simply confused on the criteria for shortlisting by JAMB and doesn't know what the future holds. |
Education › Re: What Criteria Will Jamb Use To Give Admission To Students This Year??? by Exclusive4It: 1:44am On Jul 10, 2016 |
The OP is asking a very cogent question but no one is seeming to take it serious. Jamb Debunks the point grading systems, in the article they releases yesterday, no specific criteria was mentioned. Yes we know Jamb would shortlist names of candidates for screening to the Institutions but what criteria would be used for the shortlist. Please anyone who knows this should answer for information purpose. |
