Nigerian Lady Claims She Saw Tagbo’s Ghost

An Instagram user, @digwe has claimed that the ghost of Davido’s late friend, Tagbo, appeared to her and asked her to deliver a message to someone.

The lady said she has never met the late Tagbo nor know anyone that knows him personally. She disclosed that she has delivered the message to the person he allegedly sent her to.

She claimed that it was hard getting the phone number of the person but the deceased made it available to her.

Here’s what she wrote:

Mr Eazi who recently stirred outrage with a misguided utterance when he claimed he invented the fusion of Ghanaian words/sounds with Nigerian sounds us being criticised again.

Music Legend, 2baba Idibia, has spoken on the controversies surrounding the death of singer, Davido’s frends; DJ Olu, Chime Amechina and Tagbo Umeike.

The afro-pop legend sat down with The Net NG, and was asked about the incident.. 2face didn’t fail to blame Davido’s friendly attitude for the incident.

According to him, Davido’s jolly attitude landed him in such circumstance. He, however, advised Davido not to change his personality despite criticisms, adding that he should be more careful henceforth.

He said:

“When things like this happen I say it’s an unfortunate circumstance, nobody plans for stuff like that. “Sometimes it makes you want to change from being a jolly good fella.

“You ask yourself questions like, should I hide myself or not associate with a friend or have friends? Should I change myself not to associate with people stop being a good fellow?

Skales has joined Timaya in condemning Eedris Abdulkareem for the rapper’s many rants. Skales’ criticism of the rapper was however done with a softer tone compared to that of Timaya, in which Eedris was called a ‘dirty looking igbo smoker‘.

Skales said in a recent interview with Hip TV that the rants by Eedris Abdulkareem are signs of immaturity. The ‘Temper‘ crooner also added that there are other ways through which Eedris Abdulkareem can correct younger artistes than through media rants.

Manchester City 7-2 Stoke City Highlights

​Manchester City survived a scare to run out rampant winners over Stoke City and move clear at the top of the Premier League.

Manchester City moved two points clear at the top of the Premier League with a 7-2 thrashing of Stoke City at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday.

Manchester United’s 0-0 draw with Liverpool had temporarily lifted them to the summit but City took full advantage of their rivals’ dropped points with a rampant display against a dismal Stoke side.

Gabriel Jesus, Raheem Sterling and David Silva had them 3-0 up in less than half an hour as a ragged visiting defence made life easy for Pep Guardiola’s front three.

Stoke did threaten a comeback either side of half-time, with Mame Diouf firing home before his header deflected in off Kyle Walker to make it 3-2, but hope of a shock result did not last long.

Jesus scored his second and Leroy Sane his first from two exceptional passes from Kevin De Bruyne, making his 100th appearance for the club, either side of a stunning strike from Fernandinho.

Guardiola made some changes in the closing stages – although Sergio Aguero, back from a broken rib, stayed on the bench – as City looked to save some energy for next week’s Champions League meeting with Napoli.

The substitutions did little to disrupt City’s rhythm, though, as Bernardo Silva finished in the closing stages to seal a seventh win from eight games that opens up a gap at the top of the table.

Sane should have opened the scoring after seven minutes but instead blasted over the bar from point-blank range, but it did not take City long to strike.

With 17 minutes played, Kyle Walker was allowed time and space inside the penalty area just yards from Jack Butland’s left-hand post, and his cut-back was turned in by Gabriel Jesus.

It was 2-0 barely 90 seconds later. De Bruyne’s fine throughball found Sane, who had been played onside by Erik Pieters, and he unselfishly laid the ball off to Sterling to tap home.

Stoke had scarcely managed any spell of possession before City bagged a third, with David Silva controlling Sterling’s cut-back before prodding past Butland from six yards.

It looked all-too easy for the home side but Stoke at least snatched a lifeline before the break. Xherdan Shaqiri released Jese Rodriguez down the right and he combined well with Diouf, who drilled a shot in off Fabian Delph’s extended leg and beyond Ederson.

Matters become more uncomfortable for the home side less than three minutes after the restart, as Diouf’s header from debutant Thomas Edwards’ curling cross deflected off Walker and into the net, prompting jubilant celebrations in front of the away fans.

But City restored their two-goal advantage eight minutes later. Bruno Martins-Indi was caught dithering in possession and De Bruyne took full advantage, racing down the right before sending in a superb low cross to the unmarked Jesus, who fired high into the net.

Fernandinho then produced the best goal of the match, a thunderous strike from 25 yards out that went in off the crossbar, as Stoke’s defence allowed the Brazilian all the time he needed to set himself and let fly.

Five minutes later and City had their sixth, De Bruyne’s stunning pass picking out Sane’s run into the left of the area, the Germany star side-footing beyond Butland at the near post.

There was time enough for Bernardo Silva to score his first Premier League goal, gathering in Sterling’s pass after Stoke failed to clear before poking a finish into the bottom-right corner, capping another devastating display from City that has given them a boost in the title race.

1. How big are your dishes?

Did you know your plate size can affect your waist size? It’s true — studies show that when people use larger bowls and plates, they fill them up. That means they eat more than they need. Try this simple switch at mealtime: Put healthy foods on bigger plates and less healthy foods on smaller ones. You’ll satisfy your hunger with more nutrients and less junk.
2. Do you do leftovers right?

Eating them is a great way to get the most meal for your buck, but be sure you store them safely. Refrigerate leftover food right away in an airtight container to keep bacteria from setting up shop. Reheat in microwave-safe or oven-safe glass or ceramic (not plastic). Get food hot all the way through. Check for cold spots, so germs scram before you swallow.
3. Too many screens in your bedroom?

Nollywood Should Go Closer To God

Nollywood actor and born-again Christian, Ernest Asuzu, who suffered stroke years ago, in a new interview talked how a man got jealous of his rising profile and inflicted him with stroke.

In an interview with LIB, the actor who suffered a stroke that ended his bright acting career also claimed it was a colleague in the Industry who was behind the illness that almost left him paralyzed.

In his words, he said:

‘Nollywood should go closer to God, they are devilish. When they see someone doing better in the industry, they will go and do juju to bring the person down. That is what they like to do.’

‘Like now I have stroke, the stroke I have is from the Industry and it was still someone from that same Industry that inflicted me with stroke.’

Peter Okoye Reveals
Amidst the rumours making the rounds that the P-Square brothers are having issues, Peter Okoye has now revealed to his fans that he is on his own after issuing a letter to their lawyer, demanding a split from the group.

Here’s what happened! Peter sparked speculation recently that all was not well with him and his twin brother/business partner – Paul after he referred to himself as Mr. P (his personal brand name). He also dropped cryptic messages on Instagram, one of it addressing how no one’s opinion should matter about something that makes you happy.

Though no names were mentioned, Paul Okoye replied in a post via his own Instagram page, talking about how the birth of his twins was making someone jealous and restless.

Peter further accused his older brother Jude of once threatening to kill him and shoot his wife Lola. Jude allegedly also threatened to bring a coffin for him (Peter) if he ever comes near his house.

Peter insists that he has had enough of the drama and wants out of the Psqaure group and contract. Successful Concert In London – Mr. Eazi

Mr. Eazi has been getting a lot of negative reactions from Nigerian music lovers for his recent statements about setting the pace for other Nigerian artistes in different spheres. Rising singer, Oluwatosin Ajibade, aka Mr Eazi, has been in the eye of the storm lately over some statements he has been making.

During a recent radio interview, the singer had claimed that the practice of infusing Ghanaian sounds and slangs into Nigerian music was started by him. And that, other artistes in the country are now copying his ‘formula’ in order to have hit songs like him.

Immediately the video recording of the interview surfaced on the Internet, Nigerians lambasted him for making false claims.

The dust had yet to settle down on that incident before the controversial singer also claimed that he rejected an oil and gas job that would have fetched him $6,000 per month in order to pursue his music career. Meanwhile, some Nigerians shared pictures of Mr Eazi’s LinkedIn page, which showed that the singer only worked as an intern at Schlumberger for six months in 2010.

However, in a chat with Sunday Scoop, the singer stood by his words.

“The interview that caused this uproar was just me speaking my mind and saying things the way I see it from my perspective. It wasn’t meant to be an insult to any Nigerian artiste. You cannot deny that I brought a new vibe to the industry and I believe everybody can see that. Now, there are lots of Nigerian artistes who use Ghanaian words and melodies in their songs, but they’ve never been to Ghana. So how did they get to know about those words? There are a lot more songs out now that have that Ghanaian influence, and with all due respect, I can boldly say that started after my songs started gaining popularity.”

Asked to mention one artiste that has ‘copied’ his style, the dreadlocks-wearing singer said:

“I don’t have to mention anybody’s name. I am sure that those who are discerning know what I’m talking about.”

Speaking on the $6,000 job he allegedly turned down for music, Mr Eazi said:

“I turned down the job; I didn’t say I had started working there. I don’t think there is anything wrong with being an intern. I don’t have anything to gain by lying about such a thing.
The truth remains that I was offered a job by Schlumberger, but I decided not to take it, but rather concentrated on my career. And that is a decision I’ve never regretted till date.”

Patoranking Slept On The Streets Of Ghana

Dancehall singer, Patoranking, had been in the music business for over a decade. Interestingly, the young man has seen the other side of life in his quest to climb the stardom ladder.

While speaking on a programme on Cool FM, Lagos, the singer revealed that at a point in his life, he travelled to Ghana in search of greener pastures only to end up sleeping on the streets.

“Nigerians are very powerful people and if they like your song, you are likely to be a success in Africa. There was a point in my life that I travelled to Ghana in search of greener pastures but I ended up trekking and sleeping on the streets. I decided to come back to Nigeria. Then I released ‘Alubarika’ and ‘Girlie O.’ Both songs were a hit and in no time, I was invited to perform in Ghana, Kumasi Stadium to be precise. When they came to pick me, I counted the number of cars and it was 13. I was very surprised but was grateful to God,” he said.

Patoranking used the opportunity to disagree with his colleague, Mr. Eazi, who had once said that Ghanaian music was heavily influencing Nigerian sounds as well as claiming that most Nigerian singers were copying his style as he was the one that popularised the fusion of Ghanaian and Nigerian sounds.

“We have been having this cultural exchange with Ghana way back since the time Tuface sang ‘My love’ which featured VIP from Ghana. Tic Tac and Tony Tetuila sang ‘Fefe ne efe.’ The musical cultural exchange between Nigeria and Ghana has been going on even before I finished secondary school. It is false for Mr. Eazi to say he started that style of music because he did not help me sing my hit song, ‘My Woman.’ I did it myself and the song is a global hit song. It is the biggest afrobeat song in the Caribbean. I do not agree with his statement. It is wrong.”

Racist Firefighter

An Ohio fire department has suspended one of its volunteer firefighters for a racist Facebook post suggesting he’d prefer to save a dog in an emergency than a black person.

Tyler Roysdon, a volunteer for Franklin Township, wrote that if he had to choose between saving a dog or a black man from a burning building, the dog would get priority, because “one dog is more important than a million n****rs.”

Roysdon has since removed the post from his Facebook page, but a screenshot appears below.





Once township officials discovered the post, Roysdon was suspended indefinitely, according to local station WHIO-TV.

The township will hold a disciplinary hearing for him on Sept. 27, the station reported.

Because he is a volunteer, Roysdon is only paid when he is called to duty. Authorities said he will not be called while the suspension is in effect.

Township officials released an official statement about Roysdon on Thursday, confirming that he was suspended until the township’s board of trustees can meet to determine his fate:

“Recently, a Franklin Township volunteer firefighter posted unacceptable remarks on social media.

Upon gaining knowledge of this information, Fire Chief Steve Bishop immediately contacted the firefighter and directed the comments be removed.

Woman Gives Birth Standing In The Middle Of The Street

Childbirth is not easy by any standard, but a Chinese woman shocked onlookers when she gave birth standing in the middle of a street, then picked up her child and walked off like it was the easiest thing in the world.

The shocking moment was captured on video. The woman was out grocery shopping when she went into labour unexpectedly. She began screaming after her water broke and she gave birth right there without help.

She did not bother to crouch in order to birth her child but stayed standing through the ordeal. A few seconds later, the infant is seen in the video dropping from between the mother’s legs to the ground, leaving the woman’s long dress stained in blood as anxious voices are heard calling for help.

After she had been attended to on the scene by some nurses, the woman picked her child and her bag of groceries and walked off. The dramatic birth happened in the city of Yunfu in southern China.

Suspected Car Thieves
Two suspected car thieves caused a stir in Mombasa, Kenya after they were supposedly attacked by ‘evil spirits’ for stealing a Nissan car.
According to local media outlets, the said thieves were driving towards Bamburi Mtambo from Bamburi Mwisho, when they stopped and parked the car outside a clinic, got out, undressed and begun bathing in a nearby pool of mud water.
An eyewitness said both of them said the weather was hot – hence the public bath. They also picked up a snake that was allegedly following them, took turns carrying it on their necks while talking to it, and even danced with the animal at a certain point.
Others who claimed to have recognized the car said the thieves would only be ‘released’ after the legitimate owner of the stolen vehicle comes to pick it up. Police eventually arrived but had a hard time controlling the crowd. Watch a video recorded at the scene below.

Throat Cancer Patient

A 25-year-old man from Delhi, Mustakeem Ahmad, who works as a cook at a restaurant, has been arrested on charges of killing his colleague.
The accused, shot dead his colleague from Myanmar for reportedly introducing him to smoking that led him to get throat cancer later.

As per a report published in Hindustan Times, Ahmad told his interrogators that he allegedly hated his victim so much that he purchased a pistol and practised firing to ensure that he did not miss his target.

The victim, Inayat, had been working as a cook at a restaurant in west Delhi and Ahmad too had been offered a chef’s job at the restaurant that was owned by Ahmad’s brother-in-law.

Reportedly, Ahmad began smoking cigarettes and took to marijuana, allegedly under the influence of Inayat.

“In the course of time, Ahmad developed throat infection, forcing him to consult a doctor. Ahmad has claimed that the do doctor told him he had developed throat cancer due to excessive smoking,” said the DCP.
