Time (travelling) machine from H. G. Wells popular sci-fi novel "The Time machine", in which one can travel to the future or back to the past is not new to some people here. Travelling to see what's in the future or how the past has been like is a big fun to me. If time travelling was a reality, I will like to go to the future and see how Nigeria will be like in the next 100years to come and I will also like to go back to the past to see how my father's childhood had been like: the man don brag a lot about his childhood.
Feel free to voice out what you will like to do if time travelling was a reality.

Yeah, I know NTA is basically useless, but I was talking about the federal government creating a sort of HITV 2, but this time with the best of equipments, federal funding and the best brains at the helm. It means creating a whole cable company and not just a station like NTA. All these Star times, Daarsat and the likes are far from the level of DSTV and if that is the best we can do, then DSTV will continue to reign supreme.


With the current business climate in Nigeria, it will be very hard for a private individual to come in and establish a company to rival DSTV, offer comparable contents while at the same time charging a reduced amount for their bouquets.(which is mainly what we all want) The cost of such is simply unimaginable and until DSTV faces a situation where a rival company is offering the same content at half the price, they will never reduce their price.

Let's wait and see how long it will take before any bill is passed and implemented. When it comes to making laws that will benefit the common man, we know how our reps and senators behave.
