He is 9ft tall, weighs over 1,400lbs and can tear a man apart in minutes. But Jim Kowalczik has no fear as he larks about with the Kodiak bear he calls his ‘son’. The former prison officer and his wife, Susan, have cared for Jimbo for more than 20 years, since he first came to the couple’s upstate New York haven for injured or unwanted animals as a bottle-feeding cub

MailOnline Travel has scoured the world for a range of super-sized animals. This March, an enormous 20ft-long great white shark was photographed swimming through a school of mackerel off Guadalupe Island in Mexico, dwarfing a team of caged researchers. The photo was taken for a shark identification project by water safety specialist John Maher. http://boredomtherapy.com/animal-relative-size/ http://www.dailymail.co.uk/travel/travel_news/article-5763061/Not-feeling-big-Staggering-images-animals-dwarfing-humans.html

Among the organs that were created for the body was an imitation lung (pictured) that can be inflated and deflated just like the real thing. When inside the body it causes the chest to rise and fall just like the 3D printed patient is breathing. Organs like the heart were produced with different textures so they feel like the real organ. The researchers have also created replica blood vessels through which artificial blood can be pumped. The design is intended to recreate the experience of cutting into a patient and how to repair damage if a blood vessel is cut.
The lifelike body can appear gruesome but is actually made from different types of silicon and some fibres to give it structure. The organs and body parts (pictured) have been modelled so they not only look the same as the real thing but look like it too. The silicon skin can be cut, pulled back (pictured) and then resealed, allowing multiple mock-operations to be conducted. The body is designed to prepare surgeons for traumatic emergency surgery.
The body can also mimic breathing, which causes the chest to rise and fall, allowing trainee medics to replicate respirating a patient (pictured) HOW THEY MADE THE BODY The researchers used CT scans to create 3D printed organs that look like the real thing. Different grades of silicone were used to give the organs textures that are more realistic. The lungs can inflate and deflate like they do in real life, giving the impression the patient is breathing. Artificial blood can also be pumped out of blood vessels to mimic blood loss during operations. The skin was made from resealable silicone so it can be cut and repaired. The face is based on a real person and has been given stubble to make it more realisistic.

Researchers have developed a life-like human body (pictured) that can be used to train surgeons to perform emergency operations. Modelled on a real person, it has silicon skin and organs that have been 3D printed using CT scans of real hearts, lungs and blood vessels. Carefully modelled on a real body, it has been created from a combination of silicone gels and fibres to mimic a real patient to help train surgeons. Each of its organs have been printed using CT scans of real hearts, lungs and blood vessels while the face is modelled on a real person right down to realistic stubble. Artificial blood can be pumped into the body to recreate the blood loss that occurs when surgeons cut into a patient and to give them experience of racing against the clock before they bleed to death. Air can be pumped into the lungs so the inflate and deflate just like the patient is breathing. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-3809685/Creepy-human-replica-train-future-surgeons-3D-printed-body-breaths-bleeds-recreate-trauma-emergency-operations.html Lalasticlala, Mynd44

Skin - $10 Per Square Inch In any given year, one million Americans suffer from a skin burn. Of these, approximately half are severe enough to require hospitalization. At that point, a skin graft may be necessary. In 10,000 annual cases, burn patients will die because of a burn-related infection. Harvesting skin from deceased organ donors is a great way to help these people, but there's not always enough of it to go around. The Black Market picks up some of the slack and values skin at $10 per square inch.
Hair - $70 Per Every 10 Inches Most people who cut off their hair with the intention of giving it to others donate it to cancer patients. However, there is an interest in hair on the Black Market, too. This is mostly due to gathering hair to sell for wigs, and selling it can net you $70 for every 10 inches.
Blood - ₦119, 000 Per Pint Even though most people are eligible to donate blood, there's still typically a big shortage of this necessary life-giving component of the human body. Therefore, illegal blood farming has become a surprisingly common practice. In India, some people become trapped in so-called blood farms where they're kept in cages and forced to donate blood. Another source of the illegal blood industry is the prison system, where prisoners can have their blood forcibly taken. The average value of this blood on the Black Market is $337 per pint.
Skulls With Teeth - ₦432, 000 In many cases, items procured via the Black Market are not used for human transplantation. Instead, body parts such as the spleen, gallbladder, and shoulder are more likely to end up in the hands of a medical researcher or someone who collects oddities. A human skull that still contains all of its teeth serves as another prime example. Currently, people who possess one of these desirable objects can sell it on the Black Market for $1,200.
Small Intestine - ₦907, 000(inch) Small bowel transplants are a rare and complicated surgery, but it's the best option for survival in some cases. This procedure is typically offered to people who have had a lot of their small intestine removed or who are suffering from intestinal failure. As with practically every other human organ or body part, it's possible to sell and buy a small intestine on the Black Market. The estimated street value is $2,519. For comparison, getting a new intestine through legal means will cost up to $1.5 million, though this also covers the expensive cost of the transplant surgery as well.
Eggs - ₦4.5 Million US law makes it legal to sell and buy human eggs, but the associated expenses may put this out of reach for some people. Unsurprisingly, the Black Market steps in to reduce the costs by eliminating hospital fees. It's possible to sell enough eggs for an IVF (in vitro fertilization) cycle for $12,400.
Bone Marrow - ₦8.2 Million Per Gram Donating a gram of bone marrow is the quickest way to illegally obtain $23,000 from the Black Market. If the process is properly done, you'll experience little to no pain, but there may be some side effects after the fact. Unfortunately, it is only legal to donate blood marrow, not sell, even though it is one of the most valuable parts of the human body. To put the Black Market cost of bone marrow into perspective, a gram of cocaine is only $150, and the street value of heroin is $200 per gram. This means that people can make a much better illegal living than a drug dealer by selling their bone marrow.
Corneas - ₦8.7 Million Cornea damage can lead to blindness, so it's no wonder that this body part is valuable. After all, people can permanently damage their eyesight from a long list of seemingly innocuous things, including glancing at a solar eclipse without proper eye protection. As always, the Black Market has stepped up to fill this need. Corneas are worth $24,400 via the Black Market, which includes implanting them.
Heart - ₦49 Million Legal heart donations require $997,700 dollars, which is a major chunk of the estimated $1.2 million fee associated with heart transplant surgery. Most people don't have $1.2 million available to save their life, and the Black Market makes the process much more affordable. Each illegally obtained heart is worth $119,000,
Liver - ₦56.3 Million Liver disease claims more than 31,000 American lives annually. Waiting for a transplant often takes too long, and the cost of this surgery is also very prohibitive for many patients. Turning to the Black Market makes it cheaper and easier to find a replacement liver. If you were to sell your liver today, it would bring in more than $157,000. If your liver is healthy, you can live without part of it.
Kidneys - ₦72 Million Kidneys are by far the most popular organ on the Black Market. In fact, a staggering 75% of the Black Market organ trade involves the sale of kidneys. Therefore, it's not surprising that they're also one of the most expensive things to illegally purchase. At approximately $200,000, most people who need a kidney transplant due to medical issues such as high blood pressure and diabetes won't be able to afford it. Sadly, less than a third of US patients on the kidney waitlist will get a legal opportunity to save their lives. Something worth noting is that the cost of these organs is much lower in China and India, where they range from $15,000 to $62,000.
Black Market organ prices might surprise you. That's because some body parts are worth an astounding amount of money, while others fetch a much lower price than you'd probably guess. If you've read the true stories of people whose organs were stolen, you know that organs aren't the only human parts that are in demand. Everything from hair to skin has a price and is available without waiting on a donor list as long as you're willing to break the law and take the risk of imprisonment, that is. Due to the difficulty of making it to the top of the applicable organ transplant list in time, it is estimated that over 10% of all organs and tissue used in surgeries come from the Black Market. https://www.ranker.com/list/black-market-organ-cost/april-a-taylor

skarlett:The only circumstance that can sink this ship today is human or human error. I can even say Titanic went down due to human error because the crew were warned severally of icebergs ahead their course but they ignored anf didn't change their course. Attached is the bridge of Allure of the Seas and Oasis of the Seas. On those screens, the crew can see and forecast anything coming days ahead(Hurricanes, Tornadoes, Storms, waves, earthquakes, eruptions, tsunami, cyclones, thunderstorms, meteor shower, anything). I learnt they can connect and communicate with space satellite from this bridge.

The dirt tunnel continued for 230ft underneath the prison and had already passed under its heavily-fortified outer walls and electric fences, according to prison authorities. The tunnel is believed to have taken months to excavate and was reportedly just a few metres away from reaching the surface in surrounding forest outside. Officers found several bags of dirts and an electric cable which ran the length of the tunnel, with a lightbulb on the end. It is believed the prisoner was planning to charge other inmates to use the tunnel in a mass escape bid. The tunnel has now been filled with concrete, a spokesman said.

Prison Break A Brazilian murderer died after suffocating in a 230ft-long escape tunnel he had dug from his prison cell toilet, it was reported today. Judson Cunha Evangelista, 26, had spent months carving the tunnel, and had managed to dig all the way past the perimeter wall of the jail in Boa Vista, northernBrazil. However, shortly before he was able to dig himself out, he is believed to have suffered an acute lack of oxygen, and despite making it back to his cell, he died soon after. Shocked officers discovered a hole which began underneath the toilet in Evangelista's cell in Wing 7 of the Monte Cristo penitentiary, the largest prison in Brazil's northern most state of Roraima. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-5761059/Murderer-suffocates-feet-freedom-230ft-long-tunnel-dug-toilet-cell.html
