She dismembered the man and buried him in her potato patch. Then she pretended that he had gone to work and never come home. The unnamed woman confessed to killing her husband, said the Russian Investigative Committee, which probes serious crimes. In a crime reconstruction she showed how she dismembered her husband with an axe. Police dug out the vegetable garden and found other bones. A judge put the woman under house arrest during the criminal investigation.

A man found a skull while planting potatoes in the garden only for his wife to reveal it was the remains of her first husband who she had axed to death and buried 20 years ago. The 60-year-old woman calmly explained 'don't worry it's my first husband' after the grim discovery in the garden of her home in Luzino, a village in the Omsk region of Siberia. She confessed to the killing before telling her new partner to 'bury the remains again, forget about it, and we won't tell the police.' The woman had confessed that 21 years ago she had struck her spouse with an axe during a quarrel after 'he came home drunk and beat me' at her home. However, the husband ignored the instructions and called the police. https://www.google.com.ng/amp/www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-5808045/amp/Man-finds-skull-garden-wife-reveal-husband-axed-death.html

The Chinese residents are loving their new bridge feature. A Changchun resident, known by her surname Li, couldn't hold her excitement over the new Nanhu Bridge.
|
Earlier this month, footage of the Nanhu Bridge show became trending on video platforms, as viewers praise the creativity of the bridge engineers. The recently complete Nanhu Bridge took four months to construct. It is built on the site of an earlierbridge which was demolished in June. The old Nanhu Bridge, complete in 1978, was blown up in just 3.5 seconds in a controlled explosion on June 11 last year. The management now runs three shows at night every Saturday and Sunday on the new bridge. An observation deck has also been purposely built on each side of the bridge to accommodate the audience.

Chinese construction workers have built many a formidable bridges in the most impossible places. But two bridges have shot to fame in the Far East recently not because of their incredible lengths or heights, but their high-tech multi-media spectacles. The Nanhu Bridge in north-east China and the Xiaolongwan Bridge in eastern China have become a traffic showstopper in their respective city with their rhythmic water waves and artistic neon lights. The 492ft (150m) long, 84.6ft (25.8m) wide Nanhu Bridge is located in downtown Changchun, the provincial capital of Jilin Province. Equipped with 280 water sprinklers and 560 LED lights on the two sides, it has become a popular tourist attraction with throngs of people flocking to enjoy the dramatic digital display during the weekend. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-5803751/Mesmerising-footage-shows-Chinese-bridges-spectacular-light-water-show.html Lalasticlala, Mynd44

The current refrigeration units in Air Force One were installed in the 1990s, when the planes went into service. Officials said the work on the replacements would have been performed in Oklahoma City and San Antonio, Texas, with a completion date of October 30, 2019. The current aircraft in the presidential fleet are also due to be replaced with a pair of Boeing 747-8s. In December of 2016, then President-elect Donald Trump blasted the estimated $4billion replacement cost as 'out of control', adding 'Cancel order!' The replacement plans have continued, however. In September, Boeing was awarded a $599,999,999 contract to conduct preliminary design work for upgrades to the two 747-8s, which are currently being stored at the Southern California Logistics Airport in the Mojave Desert. The design round is set to be complete by the end of 2018, and then upgrade work will begin. When complete, the resulting upgrades will include 'a mission communications system, electrical power upgrades, a medical facility, an executive interior, a self-defense system, and autonomous ground operations capabilities', the Air Force said.

A $24million contract to install new refrigerators on the presidential fleet has been cancelled. Boeing won the contract with the Air Force in December 2017, with the cost covering design and installation of the custom chilling units on the two Boeing VC-25As that make up the presidential fleet. Air Force One fridges must be able to store 3,000 meals to feed staffers and crew for up to 10 days, in the event the presidential plane is kept aloft as a flying command post in a national emergency. Five 'chillers' on each plane would cool a total of 26 climate-controlled compartments, according to the Air Force. Boeing's contract was to replace two of the chillers, which cool eight of the compartments. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-5807939/Air-Force-cancels-24million-refrigerator-installation-presidential-fleet.html

The death toll from Guatemala's volcanic explosion has risen to 62 as a hot flow of mud, ash and gas swept down from Guatemala's Fuego volcano on Monday following a new explosion in the morning. Volcan de Fuego, which translates to 'volcano of fire', known to be one of Central America's most active, destroyed homes and blanketed nearby villages in soot as it sent clouds of ash six miles into the air. Search and rescue operations for the missing and dead were resuming this morning using heavy machinery and shovels, after they had to be suspended due to low light and dangerous conditions last night. An undetermined number of people are still unaccounted for. Pictured: A partial view of a victim of the Fuego volcanic eruption who was found caked in ash on Monday. A leaked image from inside a federal court shows dozens of immigrants in orange jumpsuits with their hands and feet shackled in the process of undergoing a 'mass trial' inTexas. Under the Trump administration's zero tolerance policy on illegal immigration, scenes like this one in Pecos, are becoming more the norm according The Intercept's reporter. Because cameras are typically strictly forbidden in federal court, these new mass proceedings are an unfamiliar sight to those not present inside the courtrooms. Many of the immigrants coming into the United States are poor families from crime ridden countries like El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras. They often seek asylum citing the daily violence in their home countries. Thousands of immigrants cross the US - Mexico border each week and immediately turn themselves in to authorities asking for asylum. Last month attorney general Jeff Sessions announced a 'zero tolerance' policy that will see every unauthorized border crosser charged with a crime even before they can even request asylum. 'Today, we are here to send a message to the world, we are not going to let thiscountry be overwhelmed... If you cross this border unlawfully, then we will prosecute you' Public defenders only have mere minutes to meet with each defendent, when the judge asks a question the entire room must answer in unison to save time. Meanwhile many of those standing in the mass trials have no idea where their children are. The person who took this photo, while breaking the rules of federal court, is said to have felt compelled to do so after witnessing the effects of the Trump administration's policy first hand. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-5800613/Inside-illegal-immigration-mass-trial-Leaked-photo-shows-DOZENS-detainees-shackled.html
