Only two identical aircraft exist in the world which both share the same high-level function.

They mirror one another precisely except for the numeric identifier on the tail.

One reads 28000, the other 29000.

They’re as sleek as they are majestic.

Air Force One is the ultimate military jet transport with a simple, yet singular mission; to serve the needs of the President of the United States.

Only the president, his family, invited guests, select White House staff, armed Secret Service agents and members of a small press pool are allowed as passengers during flight.

Even the president’s pets are treated as royalty.

It’s the tightest and most prestigious of all White House press pools, just 13members total with rotating representatives from each of the disciplines of journalism.

These “poolers” are present in all presidential motorcades, on all helicopter movements (but never aboard Marine One), and are housed overnight in the president’s 5-star hotel when his travels take him out of town or country.

Reuters assigns a wire service correspondent and a news photographer to travel on board during all presidential travel.

Armed military police and trained dogs make sure no one goes near Air Force One without a complete security vetting process.

All personnel assigned to the squadron have a top secret clearance and, in Air Force-speak, “a need to know” before working on the aircraft.

All press and their equipment are thoroughly sniffed, scanned and searched before being issued an additional U.S. Secret Service credential which allows him or her to walk on the tarmac towards the jet.

The “security sweep” at Andrews Air Force Base involves no less than ten different challenges to each member of the press pool at the beginning of travel.

Starting with manifesting by the White House, security continues through elements of the U.S. Air Force, TSA, U.S. Secret Service (both Uniformed Division and Presidential Protective Division), explosive ordinance experts, bomb-sniffing dogs, and finally, Air Force One’s own armed bouncers, their exclusive security force.

Only then are you allowed to board the aircraft using the rear stairs.

The front steps belong only the president.

Secret Service agents use a presidential limousine for cover from spraying water as President Donald Trump lands via Marine One helicopter in New York, May 4, 2017.

Foreign AffairsRe: Inside Donald Trump Secret Service Detail(Photos) by Explorers(op):
The Beast aka US President’s state car has no keyholes on its doors.

The way to open the doors on the limousine is a secret known only to the Secret Service.

It has alse been reported that there are threee identical Limos that to throw off any would be attackers.

The car is hermetically sealed with theability to generate its own atmosphere in the event of a chemical or biological attack.

No exact specs on how thick the armor plating is but its been reported that the car could withstand the direct hit from a tank round without causing damage to the occupants inside the car.

With things like rocket propelled grenades, night vision optics and these multi spectrum infrared smoke grenades that allegedly work as a counter measure for RPG’s and Anti tank missiles you could easily put up a fight if needed.

But the main objective is to keep one occupants alive no matter the cost.

Anytime the Beast is moving there will be a motorcade of about 20 vehicles following him and one of those will be carrying medics that will be attending to the Commander in Chief in no time flat.

It has a private plane that transport it wherever the President goes.

Abraham Lincoln created the agency the day he was assassinated.

However, the original mission of the Secret Service was not to protect the president.

Only after attacks on the president happened did the agents' duties expand.

Foreign AffairsInside Donald Trump Secret Service Detail(Photos) by Explorers(op):
Secret service says Trump gets 6-8 threats per day, not worse than Bush or Obama.

The US Secret Service has an enormous task protecting President Donald Trump and his family, due in part to their complex structure.

Trump's adult children remain closely connected to the president while also maintaining the family business, and they must all be kept under federal protection.

Costs for guarding the Trumps were estimated to eventually surpass that of President Barack Obama's eight years in office.

Most of the costs have been accrued by Trump's frequent weekend visits to his golf courses and Mar-a-Lago, in Florida.

It costs a fortune to protect the first family, about $120m was allocated recently.

There was also significant backlash from New York City residents over the high security costs for first lady Melania Trump and their son, Barron, while he finished the school year in Manhattan, however the two have since moved to Washington DC.

I also read that the driver is trained to evade an attack if such occurs..
There is a driving academy for the beast, where driver will be trained to dodge, maneuver, make sharp turns handle the speed and length of the vehicle incase of attack or chase.

Explorers, how then was/is the beast (ex us president's armoured vehicle) able to withstand a RPG? Because it was stated in its specification
Not ex, US President official vehicle.

It's stated that the beast's armour is about 5-8inches thick.

They said it can withstand a direct tank shell or RPGs.

But ive not seen the test.

I don't think there will be chance to launch such attack on the vehicle, because when is moving, they secure it up to a mile in radius.

Here's what happens when an RPG is fired at 16 inches of bulletproof glass.

A video uploaded to YouTube purportedly shows what happens when a Russian RPG-7 (rocket-propelled grenade) is fired at 45 sheets of bulletproof glass, measuring about 16 inches thick.

An RPG is a portable, shoulder-fired, anti-tank weapon system that fires rockets equipped with an explosive warhead.

Science/TechnologyRe: The Difference Between A Normal Glass And Bulletproof Glass(Photos) by Explorers(op): 11:31am On Aug 07, 2017
Bulletproof glass is made up of layers of glass and a plastic (polymer) layer, usually polycarbonate.

Polycarbonate is a transparent (see-through), soft, ductile plastic with very high strength and is a sixth of the weight of glass.

Because the polycarbonate is soft, it is able to deform and stretch by taking the energy from the moving bullet.

If the first layer does not stop the bullet, it will pass through to the next polycarbonate layer and maybe even the next layer, but eventually enough of the energy from the bullet will be absorbed by the polycarbonate causing the bullet to slow down so much that it doesn’t have enough energy to pierce through the final piece of glass.

If the glass is too thin, and the bullet does make it through, it is likely that enough energy has been absorbed from the bullet that it won’t do much damage on the other side of the glass.

The strength of bulletproof glass depends on how many layers of glass and polycarbonate there are, with more layers resulting in a thicker piece of bulletproof glass.

A shot from a rifle would produce more force than a handgun so the glass would need to be thicker if it needed to resist rifle fire.

Typically bulletproof glass ranges from 7mm to 75mm in thickness, however as the 75mm piece of glass will be very expensive and very heavy, it’s only used in extreme cases.

Also the thicker the bulletproof glass the more opaque (less see-through) it is, which can cause problems if the glass is used for the windshield of a car.

Although the layers of glass within bulletproof glass can break, the polycarbonate layers which are bonded to the glass prevent them from shattering and flying apart, and so the whole structure remains intact, unlike normal glass where the pieces fly everywhere.

Technically, it should be called ‘Bullet resistant laminate composite’, however that doesn’t sound anywhere near as cool.

Why is it not bulletproof?

Well with enough time, enough effort and a big enough caliber bullet, rapid shots, the bulletproof glass can eventually be penetrated and will break, hence is not really bulletproof.

The strength and the durability of the bullet-resistant glass will depend on how it is made and the thickness of the laminate glass itself (how many layers there are).

Normal glass will shatter when one bullet is fired at it.

This is because glass can’t bend (elastically deform) and absorb the energy of the bullet, so the bullet just passes through, losing a very small amount of energy as it breaks the glass.

900years Old Mummy Of A Polar Princess Found With Eyelashes Still Intact.

The miraculous mummy of a 'polar princess' has been found close to the Arctic Circle, her long eyelashes and hair still intact after 900 years.

Her haunting face and features are clearly seen after she was unwrapped by scientists from the cocoon of copper and fur in which she was buried in permafrost soil in the 12th century.

Aged around 35, she was the only woman buried around almost three dozen men, and the detail onher accidentally mummified remains is astonishing.
