One horse does not have one horsepower. The number of "horsepower" that comes advertised with your vehicle represents a basic unit of mechanical power that can be assessed in various ways. Some technical ones involve converting one horsepower to 745 watts, or in a physical conversion, 33,000 foot-pounds of torque per minute. By these measurements, a real horse averages only about .7 horsepower.

Your fuel gauge tells you which side your gas tank is on. If you're driving a rental or other new-to-you car, you may not know which side to fill up on. In newer models, car makers have begun to include a "secret triangle" to show you just that. Next time you hop in the car, look onyour car's fuel indicator for this small arrow beside the gas pump icon. This is an easy way to show drivers which side to pull up to the pump.

Baltic Ace was a car carrier, a roll-on/roll-off ship designed to transport vehicles in a large, fully enclosed garage-like superstructure running the entire length 148m (486 ft) and width 25m of the vessel. She had eight cargo decks with a minimum free height of 2 metres (6.6 ft). Two decks (3 and 5) could be hoisted up to increase the clearance of the decks below to 4.8 metres (16 ft) for large vehicles. Her car capacity, measured in RT43 units, was 2,132. For loading and unloading cargo, Baltic Ace had a stern ramp for normal ro-ro berths and a stern quarter ramp for harbours with no specialized cargo handling facilities. On December 5th 2012, the car carrier Baltic Ace collided with the Cyprus-registered container ship Corvus J in the North sea, 65km from Dutch coast. The Baltic Ace sank in 15mins, with a cargo of over 1,400 cars. 13 of the 35 crews survived the accident, making it one of the worst auto transport disaster in history About a year later 2013, she was raised/salvaged as she was laying in one of the world's busiest shipping lane in the world which provides access to port of Rotterdam with almost 540,000 litres of fuel and hindering the swift and safe passage of marine traffic. source: salvage Baltic Ace youtube https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/MV_Baltic_Ace?_e_pi_=7%2CPAGE_ID10%2C2406038539

A car is a wheeled, self-powered motor vehicle used for transportation and a product of the automotive industry. Most definitions of the term specify that cars are designed to run primarily on roads, to have seating for one to eight people, to typically have four wheels with tyres, and to be constructed principally for the transport of people rather than goods. The year 1886 is regarded as the birth year of the modern car. In that year, German inventor Karl Benz built the Benz Patent-Motorwagen. Cars did not become widely available until the early 20th century. One of the first cars that was accessible to the masses was the 1908 Model T, an American car manufactured by the Ford Motor Company. Cars were rapidly adopted in the United States of America, where they replaced animal-drawn carriages and carts, but took much longer to be accepted in Western Europe and other parts of the world.
