WebmastersThe 7 Best Adobe Photoshop Alternatives by explosivesedo(op): 8:12pm On Jan 06, 2018
If you need to edit or manipulate a photo or other image, in all likelihood you've considered using Adobe Photoshop to do so. First released almost thirty years ago, this powerful editing software is preferred by some of the world's top designers and can be utilized to create almost anything the imagination can conjure up. Many graphics-intensive movies and video games as well as stunning works of art have come to fruition with the help of Photoshop at some point along the way during the creative process.

Although you can pay monthly as opposed to a one-time fee, the price of running Photoshop can prove to be prohibitive. Hope is not lost, however, as there are several alternatives available which offer some of Photoshop's features and will not cost you a penny to use. Each of these free applications offer their own unique functionality, and some may be better suited than others when it comes to meeting your specific needs.

For example, not all free Photoshop alternatives support the Adobe application's default PSD format. Others, meanwhile, will not be able to recognize some multi-layered Photoshop files. Limitations aside, one of the free options listed below (or a combination of several) may be exactly what you are looking for to create or modify an image.

01.GIMP

One of the most full-featured Photoshop alternatives, GIMP (short for GNU Image Manipulation Program) offers such a large set of features that even the most complex tasks can be achieved without any strain on your budget.  They say that you get what you pay for, but in GIMP's case that idiom doesn't necessarily ring true. With a very active developer community that has historically listened to user requests and feedback, this free option continues to grow as raster editor technology expands.

While not always as intuitive as Photoshop in terms of functionality and design, GIMP makes up for some of its perceived clumsiness with several in-depth tutorials for both beginning and advanced users that help you use the majority of its components with little or no pre-existing knowledge of the open source application. With that said, if you're only looking for the very basics in a raster-based graphics editor then GIMP may actually be a little too much and you may benefit from one of the simpler alternatives on our list.

Available in almost twenty languages for Linux, Mac and Windows platforms, GIMP recognizes almost all file formats that you'd expect from a paid editor like Photoshop including GIF, JPEG, PNG and TIFF among others, as well as partial support for PSD files (not all layers may be readable).

Also similar to Photoshop, a large number of third-party plugins are available that enhance GIMP's functionality further. Unfortunately the main repository that houses them is outdated and hosted on an insecure site, so we cannot recommend utilizing registry.gimp.org at this time. However, you can also find some GIMP plug-ins hosted on GitHub. As always, download at your own risk when dealing with unverified third-party repositories.

Compatible With:

Linux
macOS
Windows

02.Pixlr

A browser-based alternative to Photoshop, Pixlr is owned by well-known software developers Autodesk and is quite robust when it comes to available features and allows for progressive editing and enhancing as well as original image design.

The Pixlr Express and Pixlr Editor web apps will run in most modern browsers as long as you have Flash 10 or above installed, and offer a significant number of integrated filters along with limited layer support.  Pixlr recognizes the main culprits when it comes to graphical file formats such as JPEG, GIF and PNG and also allows you to view some PSD files, although those larger in size or complex in nature may not open.

The web-based Pixlr even has a handy Webcam feature built right into its dashboard that lets you capture and manipulate photos on-the-fly.

In addition to the browser version, Pixlr also has free apps for both Android and iOS devices that let you perform a number of editing features from your smartphone or tablet. The Android app is so popular, in fact, that it has been installed on well over 50 million devices.

Compatible With:

Chrome OS
Linux
macOS
Windows
Android
iOS

03.Paint.NET

A free Photoshop alternative strictly for Windows versions 7 through 10, the Paint.NET interface is reminiscent of the operating system's Paint application; the traditional image editing tool for PC users worldwide. The similarities are no coincidence, as the original developer's intent was to replace MS Paint with something a little better.

That was a long time ago, and Paint.NET has since grown by leaps and bounds to the point where it's comparable in some ways to the more advanced editing software on the market, both free and paid. This includes the ability to use multiple layers and blending, all the while maintaining a fairly simple interface that lends itself to even the most novice user. If you do get stuck, the Paint.NET forums are an invaluable source for assistance where inquiries are sometimes answered in mere minutes. Couple that with the tutorials found on the same website and this Windows-only graphics editor offers a user-friendly experience.

Although Paint.NET does not provide some of the higher-end functionality of Photoshop or even GIMP, its feature set can be expanded upon through the use of third-party plugins. For example, the application does not natively support PSD files but can open Photoshop Documents once the PSD plugin is installed.

The self-proclaimed fastest image editor available, Paint.NET can run in almost two dozen languages and is free to use for both business and commercial use with no restrictions.

Compatible With:

Windows 7 or higher

04.PicMonkey
Another platform-independent, web-based design and editing tool with a lot to offer is PicMonkey, which was seemingly designed with the neophyte user in mind but also packs a punch for those looking for more state-of-the-art features. As long as you have a browser running Flash, PicMonkey is accessible on virtually any platform and lets you start your creation from scratch or begin editing an existing image file in under a minute.

PicMonkey will not replace Photoshop's more advanced functionality and you won't have much luck with PSD files, but it is ideal for working with filters and even creating collages from within your favorite browser. The free version offers quite a bit in terms of features, but you'll need to pony up some cash if you want access to some of the app's exclusive effects, fonts and tools as well as an advertisement-free experience.

The premium adaptation of PicMonkey features a 7-day free trial that can be activated by providing your email address and payment information. If you want to continue using its advanced functionality long-term, though, a monthly fee of $7.99 or $47.88 for an annual membership is required.

With an oft-updated blog featuring a bevy of tips and tutorials, you should be able to figure out whether or not PicMonkey is the right option to suit your needs within the week-long trial period.

Smartphone and tablet users may also want to try the free PicMonkey Photo Editor app, available for both Android and iOS platforms.

Compatible With:

Chrome OS
Linux
macOS
Windows
Android
iOS

05.SumoPaint

One of my personal favorites, SumoPaint's interface will look very familiar if you have past Photoshop experience. The similarities are more than just skin deep, too, as its layering functionality and fairly wide range of editing tools - including several brushes and wand types - make it a formidable alternative.

The free version of SumoPaint runs in most Flash-enabled browsers and is mainly supported by on-page ads. There is also a Chrome Web App available for Chromebooks as well as users running Google's browser on other desktop operating systems.

More intricate projects may not be suitable for SumoPaint, and its file support is somewhat limited and does not include Photoshop's default PSD format. You can open files with traditional image extensions such as GIF, JPEG and PNG while edits can be saved in the app's native SUMO format as well as JPEG or PNG.

If you try the free version and feel that SumoPaint is what you've been looking for, then you may want to give Sumo Pro a whirl. The paid version allows for an ad-free experience as well as access to additional features and tools for about $4 per month if you pay for a year in advance. Sumo Pro also offers a downloadable version of its software that can be used while offline, as well as access to a dedicated technical support team and cloud storage.

Compatible With:

Chrome OS
Linux
macOS
Windows

06.Krita

An interesting editing and painting tool, Krita is an open source application that has seen its feature set expand significantly in recent years. With a nifty palette and a seemingly endless amount of brush customizations which can be stabilized to smooth out even the most unsteady hand, this Photoshop alternative supports most PSD files and offers advanced layer management.

Free to download, the regularly updated desktop application also utilizes OpenGL and allows you to author and manipulate HDR images; among many other benefits. Available for Linux, Mac and Windows, Krita boasts a fairly active forum containing sample artwork created by members of its user community.

There is another version of Krita optimized for ultrabooks and other touchscreen PCs, named Gemini, available from Valve's Steam platform for $9.99.

Compatible With:

Linux
macOS
Windows

07.Adobe photoshop express

While Adobe charges a fee to use its main Photoshop software, the company does offer free image editing tools in the form of the Photoshop Express application. Available for Android, iOS and Windows tablets and phones, this surprisingly capable app allows you to enhance and tweak your photos in a number of ways.

In addition to correcting issues such as red eye with just a tap of the finger, Photoshop Express also makes it easy to apply unique effects and incorporate custom frames and borders before sharing your pictures on social media or elsewhere from right within the app itself.

Compatible With:

Android
iOS
Windows 8.1 or higher (desktop or tablet)
Windows Phone 8.1 or higher
Windows 10 Mobile

WebmastersHow To Run A Blog Effectively Without A Laptop by explosivesedo(op): 6:54pm On Jan 06, 2018
Well I decided to put up this lucrative article as a result of some doubts among newbie bloggers or wannabe bloggers who think blogging is too much a task to handle and also must require a special tool such as a laptop.

It is a fact crystal clear to everyone reading this that blogging is done with a laptop but no one said it cannot be done otherwise, take note.

I wouldn't mean to say blogging is easy, no "its way harder than anyone could imagine"

Speaking of blogging in the easy term means blogging for the fun of it. But when we should understand that blogging is hard is when we have to blog for monetization.

Now, a question popped up yesterday from an article I published. The question read "Can I blog without a laptop?"

Wow I was astonished as I saw this question and I knew I needed to answer this question in details and so to clear the air.

The said question received several negative answers from several people as to bring down the morale of who asked the meaningful question but I am taking out time to answer this.

Before I proceed, I will wish to ask my own version of the same question;

"Can I whatsapp with my smart phone?"

Of course this is a silly question to ask right? Then I presume the former question was no less silly.

Note: when I started blogging I started out with my smartphone MOTOROLA HDRAZAR 3.

Why You Must Blog With any Device

If you ever had passion for blogging but not having a laptop is the fact limiting you, then I suggest you do not have any problem at all. If we can understand better, smartphones are better at some handy social media platforms like whatsapp, Facebook, Nimbuzz and several others, then why can't it be good to blog with?

Without further ado, I would like to explain the detailed steps to blogging without a laptop but with simply a smartphone.

Follow these guides explained below;

STEP 1: Get a smartphone

The reason I said get a smartphone is because some people may not have smartphones but will have the passion for blogging. To those who already have a smartphone, keep at it and wait for the second step. Make sure your smartphone is built in with 3GB ram at least and a large memory space for data saving.

Some smartphones have little data space and low RAM, maybe 1GB RAM.

STEP 2: Get a good Sim with good network coverage

Get a good Sim with a good service support in your area.

Sometimes, service issues limit some people from blogging be it as you may be blogging with a laptop or phone. So it is immensely advised you get a Sim with a good network coverage around you.

With this you will escape the hitchup with network and fraustrations that come alongside it.

STEP 3: Get a good data plan

This is the part where most people fail.

Blogging with either laptop or phone must call for data usage and when I say data I mean huge data. If you are a Nigerian and you reside in major cities with good network coverage, I advise you go for GLO as they offer the cheapest data.

You can start out your journey with at least #1200 subscription for 1.5GB for MTN and AIRTEL.

Note: this is not social medias you could buy goodybags for this operation calls for real data.

STEP 4: Get a good web browsing platform/application

Several android phones come with them Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox but if you do not have any of these go ahead and download them. You can also download the internet explorer or the safari if you're using an Apple iPhone.

These high end browsers allows you to see your website from a different perspective and better than the Opera Mini Browser which sometimes hides cookies and doesn't display all websites contents.

When this is done you can not move to the next step.

STEP 5: Start out your blog

At this point you're as good as anything to start publishing.

This is where you have to select where you wish to publish and the platform you're using. Basically, we have the two best blogging platforns,

. The wordpress

. The Blogger

If you're using the wordpress platform, go to any of the browsers and type in https://www.yoursite.com/wp-admin and login using username and password.

On the blogger platform, makse sure your gmail is signed in on the browser then enter blogger.com and your blog will appear and you're good to go.

Wrap up

Running a website without a laptop is as easy as ABC, with this detailed guide I suppose you can now run a website using your smartphone and see your blog grow. Several pro bloggers today started their journey with their smartphones, an example is the admin @blogincomes.com.ng.

WebmastersHow To Optimize Blog Post Title For Better SEO Ranking (A Detailed Guide) by explosivesedo(op): 10:27am On Jan 06, 2018
I wouldn't say this is the first time I am writing an article based on this topic but as a matter of fact I believe I have to do this.

Few days back I published an article on "Why You Must Do Keyword Research Before Writing An Article As A Blogger" on the famous Nigerian forum "Nairaland" and a question popped up.

"How To Add Keyword To A Blog Post Or Article For Better SEO Ranking?"

At first I wasn't comfortable with the question I was asked, but I tried to answer his question fluently but I believe my answer in the forum wasn't good enough so I decided to put up an article to explain this better.

Note: when I saw hiw question I was happy somehow as my article could drive a question from audience.

If we really wanted to learn how to add keywords in a blog post or article for better SEO ranking, I think we better start with learning the SEO itself.

What is SEO (Search Engine Optimization)?

SEO is considered one of the most important factors that every blogger must put to check if you ever wanted a better ranking in search engines and to increase your websites visibility, sales and revenue.

Several bloggers do not seem to take care of SEO, instead they will search for an SEO friendly theme and start publishing their numerous pointless articles aiming to nowhere.

This eventually leads their websites and blogs to got hit by Google alogrithims such as Google panda and Google penguin.

Only your blog theme doesn't account for higher search engine ranking, there are other factors which you must as well consider for better search engine ranking which is how optimized your website articles are which includes the blog title and as well the blog article body.

If you happen to have a blog of 100+ articles, it is a proven fact that only some articles of your blog will get the search engine preferred treatment (loved by search engines) and the rest other posts will not be loved by search engine.

Have you ever thought of why only a few articles are popular in your blog?

Well that is because with or without prior SEO knowledge, you might have kept a search engine friendly post title for those articles.

This I believe we have already talked about.

The Golden Rule for SEO

"your keyword should be in the post title"

Several writers make the mistake of adding keywords inside post and not taking care of the optimization for better CTR.

Having keywords in your post helps a lot I must say, but when it comes to increasing the posts CTR (click through rate), your overall post title makes the better difference.

Let's look at an example here;

. Make your blog SEO friendly (average title)

. The only guide you need to make your blog SEO friendly (title that will get you more CTR)

As stated earlier, SEO friendly title are important for better search engine rankings, it is also a must that your article have to look attractive, otherwise.................. I presume you could fix the last words?

Well if you do not know what will happen then allow me to tell you;

"no one will click on your content and no one will go in to read your article"

Having said this, let me now educate you on how to write post with better SEO ranking and increase your organic CTR and also your overall traffic.

The example title I used here is "How to get more blog traffic"

Following this article, I will make this topic more SEO friendly.

Let's Look at The Steps to Write SEO Friendly Title

I wouldn't mind repeating myself again;

. If you're new to SEO, then your keyword should be a part of your post title.

. Always write your post title after completing the post/article.

STEP 1: Analyzing the keyword of the article

Perfectly analysing the keyword of the article is the first step to making your post title SEO friendly. Several keyword analyser tools are out there such as google keyword analyser tool, Semrush, ahrefs. But I will explain how my articles are analyzed using google keyword analyzer tool.

I will write an article namely "how to get more blog traffic"

I first open google adword keyword tool

I check competitions on my main keyword

I check number of searches of my main keyword

After searching I found out that there are more searches related to the keyword "generate blog traffic" and there is low competition.

Now I have found the main keyword that I have to insert in my title which is "generate blog traffic".

I could recommend you try Semrush or Ahrefs if you are among those that love long tail keywords based on your seed word.

STEP 2: use the main target keywords to your title

Now that I have found the keyword, that I should insert it into my post title. First I said that I am going to keep my title as "how to get more blog traffic" after I inserted the main keyword in the Post's title and after I had made some changes in the title I made it as "traffic generation tips to boost your blog traffic".

The title I made now is search engine friendly and attractive too. This kind of attractive titles makes the people eager to open up your article and read it.

As it stands now, we could assure you that 80% of the job is over. How about the remaining 20%? Let's move to step 3.

STEP 3: adding numbers, the finishing touch

Congrats as you arrived here. Now it is the time to add finishing touch to the article's title. The next 20% is adding some numbers or prefix-suffix, to your title to further improve CTR. I have written seven ways for getting more blog traffic in that article. As I have written seven tips for increasing blog's traffic, I should mention "7" in the post title so I made it as;

"7 Awesome Traffic Generation Tips to Get blog's Traffic".

Kudos to you. You have made a 100% search engine friendly title for your post and that too attractive too.

Wrap up

It doesn't matter what number of the title you use, but make sure your permalink is clean. So instead of having a permalink like;

"domain.com/7-awesome-traffic-generation-tips-to-get-blog-traffic.html"

It is better you have;

"domain.com/get-blog-traffic.html".

Hope we solved your issue on how to write search engine optimized articles or posts using search engine optimized titles?

If yes drop your comments.

Technology MarketThe 25 Best Free Iphone Apps To Use In 2018 by explosivesedo(op): 11:31pm On Jan 05, 2018
There are over 2.2 million apps in the Apple App Store, but only a small fraction of them are worth downloading.

Below, you'll discover some of the most unique and useful iPhone apps you didn't even know you needed. These apps all have stellar user reviews, they're updated frequently and many of them are award winners.

And perhaps best of all, they're all free.

1.Edison mail to manage email on the go

Edison Mail is a smart email app with a built-in assistant feature designed to help you manage email faster and more effectively while you're on the go.

Build your own custom swipes for the functions you use the most, set up smart notifications, quickly undo sends and unsubscribe with a single tap. You can use it with any IMAP mail account plus most major email providers including Gmail, Hotmail, iCloud, Yahoo, Outlook, Office/Outlook 365, Exchange and AOL.

2.Unroll.me to unsubscribe easily
Nobody likes having to deal with unwanted or unimportant subscriptions messages in their inbox. Instead of doing it yourself, let Unroll.Me help.

Unroll.Me lets you unsubscribe from from all those pesky email subscriptions with one swipe or optionally add the ones you want to keep to your "rollup." You can get a daily rollup email as a reminder to check out your subscriptions for the day or simply open the app to read them right there.

3.Documents to keep your files in a central hub
Wouldn't it be great to have a central hub on your iPhone for all your most important files? Documents is an app that makes it possible.

You can import files from your computer, your cloud storage provider or nearby devices and manage them all with folders and color coded tags. Easily zip or unzip files, share files with others and integrate everything with your iCloud, Dropbox, Google Drive or other cloud account. You'll be able to read, listen, view or annotate files all in one convenient place.

4.IFTTT to automate more functions
IFTTT is a task automation tool you can take advantage of if you use a lot of apps and find yourself spending a lot of time doing repetitive functions manually.

It works with over 500 popular apps so you never have to worry about forgetting to do something or wasting precious time trying to get it done all by yourself.

With IFTTT, you create "applets" that trigger one app to cause an action on another app. For example, an applet could trigger an email  the weather forecast in the morning, or it could save favorited Twitter tweets to your Instapaper account.

There are also hundreds of existing applets created by others you can use for yourself. Just use the Discover and Search tabs to see what's available.

5.Bear to make notetaking easier

For a note-taking app that balances simplicity with powerful functionality, Bear really takes the cake. This gorgeous little app lets you do everything from jotting down quick notes and drawing sketches, to writing in-depth essays and creating image-based notes.

Easily organize and search all your notes using the app's unique search triggers feature and quickly cross-note your notes to link the ones you want together. There's even an advanced markup editor plus options to export your notes to PDF or Word documents

6.Instapaper to save web links fast
Don't you hate it when you come across an interesting link while browsing on your phone that you don't have time to look at? Instapaper helps you solve that problem by letting you save web links for later with a few quick taps.

Instapaper will also optimize all of your saved links for mobile reading and viewing, making it much easier to consume on your iPhone. Web page clutter is stripped away so you get just the important content in a clean, newspaper-like tab. You can also organize and sort your links to keep the important ones you think are worth revisiting again and again.

7.Moment to help you get better at putting the iPhone down

You can even integrate the app with family members to see their screen time data too.

8.Cara to record daily health habits
There are countless food tracker apps out there, but perhaps none like Cara. Developed by doctors, this app specializes in digestive health by helping its users understand the connection between food and the gut.

The app lets you record your daily health habits through your personal diary (such as meals, snacks, digestive symptoms, mood, stress level, exercise, sleep, pain and medication). The more you use it, the more the app learns about you so that you can gain insight into your digestive health and receive customized tips to prevent digestive discomfort.

10.Charity miles to give back to the world
Giving back to charities that are important to you doesn't have to take a lot of time or money when you use Charity Miles. The more you run, walk or cycle with the app tracking your activity in the background, the more money you earn for the charity of your choice.

Charity Miles is sponsored by organizations that donate money on your behalf, so it's totally free on your part and acts as a great incentive to get moving. You can also select a different charity any time you want to start a new walk, run or bike ride.

11.Stop, breathe and think to restore your mind and body balance
Meditation and mindfulness doesn't have to be complicated or overwhelming. With the Stop, Breathe & Think app, you can tell the app how you're feeling and receive suggested guided meditations to help you restore balance to your mind and body.

Using your check-in data on mood and physical sensations, the app will try to match you with what's best for what you're feeling. Alternatively, if you know a guided meditation you want to do already without checking in first, you can skip it and choose the one you want. There are also a few yoga and acupressure videos available for free

12.Debit and credit stick to your budget
When it comes to sticking to a budget, simplicity is best. Debit & Credit is a clean and simple budget app built to track all of your account activity in one convenient place—with the ability to easily switch between accounts too.

Use the app to create a new transaction within seconds, save locations at regular venues for fast recording, schedule transactions for the future, receive reports and even share your account data with other users of the app. Unlike other popular apps such as Mint.com, this one doesn't connect to any of your online bank accounts, so you have full control over all of your transactions as you use it.

13.Flipp to find great deals
If you're an avid shopping deal hunter, Flipp is for you. This app tracks and updates deals and coupons based on item, brand or category so you can save money every time you go out to shop at your favorite stores.

Search for deals and coupons at popular retailers in your area and use the handy shopping list feature to keep track of what you need. Clip items to your list and you'll be prepared to save when you go to checkout.

14.Gumtree to shop in one stop
You could download a separate app for finding a local job, buying a car and renting an apartment—or you could just use Gumtree. Gumtree is your one-stop shop for everything local.

The app will use your location to show you local ads in categories that are easy to browse through. Save ads to your favorites so you can visit them later, post an ad yourself within seconds straight from your phone and use the handy messages feature to chat with other users you're interested in doing business with. If you ever want to change your location (or broaden its reach) to see more ads, all you have to do is tell the app the location and distance you want to include in your search.

15.BUNZ to declutter your life
Decluttering your home or workspace is easier and more fun than ever with BUNZ—particularly if you're open to trading stuff you want to give away for other people's used items. The app is similar to other local advertising apps, except it strictly involves trading items as opposed to buying or selling them.

All you have to do is post the items you want to get rid of and let others know what you're looking for. You can use the app to chat about your trade plans with others in your area who are interested and arrange to meet up. To ensure that your safety is a top priority, check out the reviews of the people you're meeting and use the official trade zones in your area to schedule your meet-up.

16.Magicplan to plan home renovations
Whether you're looking to renovate or simply refurnish a room in your home, Magicplan is an app that can help you plan the entire process out before you even start.

Create your own floor plan in as little as a few minutes and customize them with your own photos, objects, annotations, product prices, tasks and taxes so that you can generate a complete project estimate. The app is free to use for creating custom floor plans, but will cost $4 if you'd like to download them as PDF, JPG, PNG, DXF, SVG and CSV files.

17.VSCO to publicly share photos
Instagram might be the most popular photo sharing app at the moment, but VSCO is another worth trying if picture perfect social sharing is something you really dig. This photo sharing app was designed to help creators reach their fullest creative potential.

Take advantage of the app's unique set of editing and journaling features to share your art with the community. Connect with other creatives as you build your own portfolio of work and get inspired by VSCO's complete preset library, enhanced creative tools and educational features. For mobile photographers who want to take their art above and beyond, VSCO is the app that can help them get there.

18.Google photos to backup photos
As an iPhone user, you already have the convenience of Apple's iCloud for backing up your photos, but Google Photos still blows iCloud out of the water in terms of overall feature offering (including photo backups too, of course).

You can set automatic backups for unlimited photos (up to 16 megapixels) and videos (1080p HD) completely free. The app's visual search feature also makes finding specific photos and videos faster and easier than you thought possible so you never have to waste time scrolling through hundreds or thousands of files.

19.Lifecake to privately share photos

If you're a parent or a close family/relative of someone who has young children, you'll want to check out Lifecake—a safe and secure platform for private sharing of family photos. Sometimes, Facebook just isn't really the right place to be sharing those family moments.

Stay in control of who can see your family photos and videos—whether it's grandma who only uses the web or your sister who lives halfway around the world. Travel back in time through your moments to see your kids at any age, send notifications to relatives when new content is added and easily upload anything straight from your iPhone, computer, Facebook, Dropbox, or other platforms.

20.Open table to discover new dining experience

WebmastersTips On Starting A Website Hosting Business by explosivesedo(op): 8:15pm On Jan 05, 2018
Starting a web-site hosting company is one of the easiest options, which is pretty viable without really spending a fortune.

Website hosting business doesn’t require any infrastructural investment, and if you decide to take a reseller hosting package or VPS, you won’t even have to put in a lot of initial investment either. Here are some basic tips to start a website hosting business.

Difficulty: Average

Time Required: 7 Days

Here’s How:
1.Buying a Reseller/VPS/Dedicated Hosting Package: You can take cheap reseller hosting packages to start off, but I’d advise you to take a decent package so that you don’t need to monitor the disk space usage, and bandwidth for few months.
When your business needs grow bigger, you can think of buying a VPS, or opt for dedicated hosting, or even setting up your own infrastructure.

2.Branding and Advertising to Attract Global Customers: The beauty of a web site hosting business is that your business is not limited to geographical bounds, and you can attract customers from different parts of the world. All that you need to do is to create a good rapport in the market, get some positive feedback from existing customers in form of testimonials.
Using the power of search engine optimization, or advertising programs like Google AdWords, you can easily rank well in search engines for keyword phrases related to your niche such as “web site hosting”, “small business web hosting”, “best web hosting provider”, and get lot of customers.
Remember, you must create a professional-looking website to vow the customers, if you really want to become a successful web hosting provider.

3.Billing Software, Payment Gateway & Support System: To manage your customer-base, a good billing software is a must-have, and you can easily integrate online payment gateways seamlessly to be able to accept various form of payments such as PayPal, Credit/Debit Card payment, bank-wire transfer.
The popular billing software include Whmautopilot, Clientexec, Accounts lab pro, Modernbill, and the likes of them.
It’s noteworthy that most of the reseller web hosting providers offer free automated billing software as a part of their services.

Support Software: Apart from automated billing software, you’d also require a software system such as Perldesk, Cereberus, Deskpro, or Kayako Esupport to facilitate a 24×7 support ticket system for your customers.
Tips:
One of the important things to remember is that a web site hosting business isn’t a part time affair, and it requires full time attention, as well as lot of patience.
You must always ensure that you don’t lose your rapport in the market by giving poor customer service, or disappointing your customers in terms of hosting services. Far worse, you must never run out of disk space or bandwidth with a cheap reseller account, as it’d definitely hamper your rapport very badly.
What You Need:
Reseller/VPS/Dedicated Hosting
A Good Website
Automated Billing Software
Automated Support Software
Payment Gateway & Integration

WebmastersHow To Optimize Blog Post Title For Better SEO Ranking (A Detailed Guide) by explosivesedo(op): 7:27pm On Jan 05, 2018

Let's look at an example here;

Well if you do not know what will happen then allow me to tell you;

I wouldn't mind repeating myself again;

Congrats as you arrived here. Now it is the time to add finishing touch to the article's title. The next 20% is adding some numbers or prefix-suffix, to your title to further improve CTR. I have written seven ways for getting more blog traffic in that article. As I have written seven tips for increasing blog's traffic, I should mention "7" in the post title so I made it as;

"7 Awesome Traffic Generation Tips to Get blog's Traffic".

Kudos to you. You have made a 100% search engine friendly title for your post and that too attractive too.

Wrap up

It doesn't matter what number of the title you use, but make sure your permalink is clean. So instead of having a permalink like;

"domain.com/7-awesome-traffic-generation-tips-to-get-blog-traffic.html"

It is better you have;

"domain.com/get-blog-traffic.html".

Hope we solved your issue on how to write search engine optimized articles or posts using search engine optimized titles?

If yes drop your comments.

WebmastersWhy Nigerian Beginner Bloggers Fail (basic Possible Reasons Why You Fail In Blog by explosivesedo(op): 3:09pm On Jan 05, 2018
It isn’t a must say story everyday about the increasing number of failed bloggers in the blogosphere. Several proplr fail in the said business because of thousands of reasons which we all know their failure points.
Given that bloggers fail in the blogosphere out of a thousand reasons doesn’t warrant we could discuss the thousand reasons in this article.

Just so you know that given that a thousand reasons surround bloggers failure in the blogosphere we still know that there are the core reasons why the said bloggers fail and we are here in this article to explain the core reasons why bloggers fail.

Let’s dive in to why bloggers fail

. High expectations rather than building

Have you ever heard of bloggers who makes cents per month blogging? Well that isn’t a folktale story as it have happened to me per se.

This is a fact proven all round the blogosphere. Maybe you ventured into blogging just because a good friend of yours tells you how much he makes per month blogging. You see it as an avenue for getting rich quick but on venturing into the platform you may see otherwise and as a result you cannot cope with what you have seen.

This turn of events will bring your morale down and at the end of the day and you will eventually quit blogging.

. Being original is an issue to worry about

Several bloggers have never been able to maneuver their respective pitfalls as a result of reasons so simple that a child can conquer.

The question is, “why can’t you be original?”

Being original is one of the basic reasons why bloggers fail. We have what we know how to do basically. Several good bloggers strive to copy other bloggers leaving behind their true self and what they know how to do best.

Speaking of being original, it is a good thing that you understand what we actually mean here, if you’re good at photography, fashion, webmaster or writing articles suitable for publication, why not strive to be on top of the niche and be as original as you could?

Yet several people will go ahead and start copying maybe your idol or your friend who excels in entertainment niche.

. You do not go for passion but you go for trend

This is the majority of the issues we have with local bloggers. Local bloggers tend to follow the trends for the time being and forget that the basics of blogging goes with passion.

“check out the successful bloggers in the globe, they went for their passion not trend”

We could understand that Nigeria is filled with entertainment trends these days and several bloggees who could account for 78% of local bloggers are in entertainment niche but just 22% fall into other niche.

Going for trend while blogging is one of the biggest mistakes bloggers make while choosing their respective career.

. Blogging for Money more than to educate

Some blogs are geared to educate your readers and some others are geared towards providing useful information to the readers eg News and Entertainment websites.

When your first priority with your website is to make money other than to educate your readers and also pass your knowledge unto others you will have several pitfalls to dangle with as your journey to blogging elongates.

Blogging to make money alone is one of the problem several bloggers face while blogging.

“best advised, open a blog to teach rather than make money, you will end up making money at last”

. Lack of Seriousness with your website

This is also one of the reasons why several bloggers fail in their blogging career and if care isn’t taken, you could end up ending up like those who ended their blogs as a result of not being serious.

In other words, this is designed as a topic worth deeply discussing as it affects the whole blogosphere.

Sometimes people say I am not serious with my website but its not so. This is because I update my website once weekly but come to think of it, if I could bring 1000 visitors to my website and I update once weekly and have good interactions with my visitors I am Still serious with my website don’t you think?

Entertainment websites and news websites could need to update its readers with daily news and this is where everyday publishing comes in.

If you read this, then I suppose its time you moved up your blog to the next level and start being serious and optimize your website very very well. You could also ask fellow bloggers questions and you can then call yourself a serious blogger.
. You don’t interact with fellow webmasters

Yes you don’t interact with you fellow bloggers. I said this and I mean it.

Although we consider this a temporary reason bloggers fail but all the same, time it is still crucial you must adapt to interacting with your fellow bloggers.

There are several reasons why you must interact with your fellow bloggers;

. It makes you get noticed

. To keep you informed and updated

. You could get to know what’s happening around you

. Gets you more educated on important informations in your niche

. You could be helped by interacting with them

. You could be invited to guest blog and drive better traffic and conversions

Several forums could offer helping hands when it comes to solving particular blogging issues. Basically I learnt what to do to my banned domain name in Nairaland forum.

You could be a professional blogger but believe me you could earn better and learn better as you interact with your fellow professionals.

Recall that it is always being said;

“learning never ends”

Final words

I am writing to pass on why several bloggers fail in the blogosphere and the ways you can also avoid these failures. As you embrace our article and carryout the said strategies to solve the issues you may have blogging. Believe me when I say that I never started making money from my website until I started using these proven strategies to make a blog work out for you.

In the screen, you can set a PIN code such as pattern, sometimes depending on the device and Android version of the phone. Another means of locking an Android device or tablet such as face lock or password.

If you use your phone or tablet to catch up on news and websites, Google News & Weather, Flipboard, and Pocket are popular.

You'll find all of these apps and a whole lot more in the Google Play store, formerly known as Google Market.

4.Tips and tricks to customize your android home screen
After you set up your device's security and download some essential apps, you'll probably want to customize the phone or tablet so your favorite apps and information are at your fingertips.

Android offers a ton of customization features, including the ability to add dynamic widgets. Here are the basics of customizing your home screen and device:

Your Android device comes with several home screen panels. Swipe right or left to access the other ones.
To remove an app from one of the screens but not delete it entirely, tap on the app and hold it with your finger for a few seconds until you see a trash can icon at the bottom of the screen. Drag the app to the trash can to remove it.
To add an app to one of the screens, tap the Applications icon and then long press the app you want to add. Drag it to the panel you want to place it on.
You can add folders to a screen too. Long press an empty area of the screen and select Folders. Depending on your system, you may be able to set up not just a new basic folder to contain your apps, but also specific folders such as "All Contacts" or "Recent Documents." Move apps into a folder by dragging them to it with your finger.
To add a widget or shortcut or to change the wallpaper, long press on an empty area of the screen. Widgets can contain dynamic information, such as weather, news, a clock, and more. Shortcuts are quick links to an app, a contact, a bookmark, settings, and so on.
There's a whole lot more you can do with Android, but this basic setup guide should get you started. Enjoy your new phone or tablet.

WebmastersWhy You Must Do Keyword Research Before Writing An Article As A Blogger by explosivesedo(op): 9:14pm On Jan 03, 2018
Did I just say you you must do keyword research before writing anything as a blogger? Yes I did and here’s why.

I know you must be wondering why several other websites rank better on search results than your website notwithstanding you could have better contents than the said website.

Note: I seriously recommend you do your keyword research before you write articles on your website. I started making money from my blog when I started using keyword research from Semrush and google adword for keyword suggestion.

Though SEO (search engine optimization) is king when it comes to sending traffic to websites and for better website ranking on search results.

Well if it might interest you to know, SEO is not all that contributes to the relevance of keywords on search engines there is something more important than the SEO while speaking of websites getting on top of search results.

Have you heard about “keyword research?”

If you have then I suppose you are just almost to the brim of getting your website to search engine first pages.

Maybe if you haven’t then you should read this: keyword research tools.

Note: if you have done your on-page and off-page SEO perfectly, your website will not rank for your articles if also you don’t use keyword research to write articles.

That is why we said SEO is not too important as Keyword research is.

Having said this, let us quickly dive into what we mean by keyword research and how good it can be to the organic growth of websites and the growth of websites revenue.

What is Keyword Research?

Keyword research as the name implies simply means exploring and researching for keywords revelant to your website niche and also to ascertain what website contents can strive well for your website.

Websites have specific keywords that can do well with them.

keywords are phrases which are connected to websites according to their relationship with niche. Most times it is advised to go for long tailed keywords.

Several times people are advised to search for long tailed keywords but several others do not know exactly how to do this long tailed keyword thing. Let me give you a hint:

Let’s take an example

Short tail keyword:

Hostgator review

This short tail keyword can be found on search engine results only if the keyword competition is low or medium for a webmaster or review blogs. But if the competition is high, the website containing this keyword cannot rank well on search engine result thereby leaving the website unnoticed on search engines.

This disturbance of not being noticed on the web is another problem bloggers face, but ALAS we have a solution for it.

Let us presume you knew about the long tailed keyword or you used a keyword research tool like Semrush or google adword to research for long tailed keyword, you could end up getting a good longtail keyword suggestion for your website article to rank well on search engine results.

The Long Tailed Keyword

Let’s take an example here:

Hostgator hosting. A certified wordpress hosting review

This is a long tailed keyword that can rank better on search engine results notwithstanding the level of competition with the of keyword. Long tailed keywords entails keywords that has most possible phrases that can be searched over the web other than a simple and easy phrase.

Now let us look at why you must do keyword research before writing an article as a blogger

Doing keyword research before writing articles allows you to benefit from the following:

. Higher chance of post appearing on search engines first page

. Better optimized articles for websites

. User friendly and search engine friendly posts

. Better conversions from the articles written

. Better user engaging contents

. Increasing website traffic organically from serch engines.

Wrap up

This article is written strictly to my own views and discretion and no other third party was involved. If you strive to use the keyword research for your website, you will end up seeing conversions and better ranking on search engine result, thereby increasing organic traffic to your website.

WebmastersJust Post An Article And Earn Money Now. A Detailed Review Of Bubblews. by explosivesedo(op): 8:36pm On Jan 03, 2018
This is a review that will help you on how to start your freelance career.

I am going to share what I saw today that motivated me to write this article as a help to thousands of freelancers out there who are looking for a way to survive.

Today I came across a stunning website called Bubblews. Though I have worked with this website not quite long but I am still amazed by the result I saw so far. It is a simple blogging platform that pays freelancers a handsome revenue.

How would we wish to see their concept for working. Well let’s analyse their basic concept for working with their clients.

. Signup for free (takes 60 seconds)

. Write a unique article on any topic (400 characters at least) and submit to them.

. Watch the money being floated in your account.

This is the way it works

Write and submit an article, the more views, likes and comments you get, the more money is added to your account.

When I signed up myself with them, after publishing my first article, just in minutes I started recieveing money. Actually I earned my first $1.00 under 2 minutes.

I know this isn’t much but at least it was fast growing.

Now let’s look at how it will look like if I had more and more of this kind of article to my credit on the website.

“I could end up a day making up to $20”

Some Adsense earners do not earn this much in weeks.

Now I know I have spoken about making money with this good platform Bubblews and I know the next question in the minds of us.

“How can I withdraw my earnings”

Well this is relatively simple to do as you could either liberate your revenue through check or by bank transfer.

Wrap up

WebmastersTop 5 Affiliate Marketing Programmes For Travel Bloggers by explosivesedo(op): 7:52pm On Jan 01, 2018
To the travel bloggers I say thumb up. I suppose it isn't an easy task to uphold.

If I was asked to express myself I could say traveling is freedom. Though basically to some people as several others think otherwise.

I blog while sitting and so it gives me the wide experience to know how difficult it could be to blog while traveling. In my experience as a blogger, I understand it is difficult to monetize a website and basically a travel blog.

In as much as we understand the fact that making money as a travel blogger is difficult, I suppose you also know that some other bloggers do get sponsorship from their travel blogs as they earn sponsorship for traveling (say free trips with all expenses or certain expenses covered). Nevertheless, not everyone is so lucky with their blogging career.

We have never centred on any blogging niche to pay the highest amount it all boils down to how serious you are with your blog. Speaking of making money with a travel blog, a travel blog can earn you the most income if managed well. It can also be incoporated with several other monetization methods.

Travel bloggers are no different from we the steady bloggers (we blog while at rest point or while not traveling) and as such, they have equally almost the same monetization methods as do the steady bloggers. It will oblige me to list their monetization methods below:

. Google Adsense

. Viglink

. Direct ad sales

. Selling E-book

. Affiliate marketing

. Sales of merchandise

. Cuelinks

As stated by the topic of our post, we are here today to speak on the best affiliate programmes for travel bloggers while we outlook other monetization methods.

These affiliate programmes we are about to discuss were selectively handpicked and explained to suite the travel bloggers.

WebmastersThe One Legit Get Rich Quick Programme For Bloggers In 2018 by explosivesedo(op): 7:44pm On Dec 25, 2017
I know everyone reading this would like to dive into the final story of what is truly the get rich quick scheme I was about to talk about knowing fully well you’re here for the obvious. It is known to you and I that blogging isn’t just a game of chance or a game of luck where only the lucky ones gets rich in it and the unlucky ones are left poor, blogging in the other way means more than that for certainity.

blogging is a part of the E-commerce which simply takes stages to mature just as normal businesses takes time to mature and to start fetching their owners useful income. Time must be spent in every business anyone ventures into and blogging was never in any means different.

Over the years I have existed in the blogosphere with my first blogging year meaning a year of making little cents with Adsense and I was able to make my first useful withdrawal for the first time in a year after accumulating cents to make dollars. I must confess, the only idea that kept me going till date was patience as I was taught well by my mentor, admin @3ptechies.com.

I always quote him whenever he said “Be patient you will make it with blogging”.

I put it to you that every part of monetizing a blog is always a difficult one and must require patience, be it running ads on websites, direct advertising, affiliate marketing, consulting, direct services, running a donation blog and several other means involves patience so as to build a better relationship with your readers.

Today we will be disclosing the best and the easiest get rich quick for bloggers in 2018 which is what I presume every blogger really needs this coming year.

We know several people have several means for monetizing their websites but I still stand on the fact about google Adsense as the best way to monetize a micro niche blog.

I didn’t wish to pull your legs but you have to believe with me on this conclusion “the only get rich quick scheme for bloggers is only but GOOGLE ADSENSE”. Now having said this, let’s get to know google Adsense programme a little better.

What is google Adsense programme

The google Adsense programme is a platform created by google to ensure their publishers gets the highest payments as possible from displaying adverts on the ads spaces of their websites. They offer several monetization processes which ranges from CPC, eCPM, RPM, CTR. The last of these abbreviations is not a monetization process but a tool for calculating the CPC.

Someone once asked how do google make money when they pay publishers such huge amount monthly? The answer is simple the more you earn the more google earn from those whose ads you see live.

Let me go a bit down and explain these abbreviations above;

. CPC

Cost per click on an ad shown live on your website. This is the actual cost advertisers pay you per click (relevant click) on your website ads. This CPC can range from $0.03-$3.00 depending on website niche and also the GEO of the traffic. Tier A countries pay upto $2-3 per click eg the USA, Germany, united kingdom and others.

. eCPM

This is the estimated cost per mile which is the cost per every 1000 visitors that visits your website. This can range from $1-2 for traffic from tier A countries. Countries like Nigeria pay lesser on eCPM and more lesser for countries like India.

. RPM

This iS in full called the revenue per mile which is the actual revenue realized per mile. When we say per mile we mean every 1000 visitors that comes into your website we measure how much you make with them. This is one of the ways to earn money using google Adsense.

. CTR

This is in full explained as the click through rate. It is also a tool used to measure the amount of clicks users exert on your Adsense ads. The number of times users that visit your website clicks on your ads is calculated as the CTR and expressed in percentage. This is not a means of earning from Adsense but it is virtually a way of measuring revenue in your website.

Let us now look at the reasons why I said that google Adsense is the only get rich quick programme for bloggers

Firstly I would like to acknowledge the fact that no other advertising platform pays publishers up to 10 cents per click on ads let alone pay $3 for a single click, if there is you’re welcomes to state it here.

Secondly, google Adsense pays good money on eCPM other than other ads publishing platforms like media.net and bidvertisers.

Thirdly google Adsense doesn’t restrict your maximum revenue to certain countries as every country is exposed to good revenue once there is sufficient traffic coming in. The least GEO for ads earnings is India which pays $0.30 per click on ads.

Fourthly google Adsense pays on different ads displayed on websites as different ads pays different amounts upon clicks.

Wrap up

If you think google Adsense isn’t the best paying ads network and the easiest get rich quick programme, try other advertising networks like media.net, bidvertiser, yllix, and a host of several others. Believe me it is best to understand google Adsense as the best make money rich programme.
