Simon Ekpa tops the list of those who want to take away the democratic rights of Nigerians of Igbo extraction and had consistently threatened to enforce a sit at home on election day.

On Feb 14, as a Valentine gift to Igbo under the yoke of Ekpa, the Federal Government summoned the Finnish Ambassador over mis-information, hate speech and election violent incitement comments by Finland-based lSimon Ekpa.

The media reported that the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama and the Finnish Ambassador to Nigeria, Leena Pylvanainen expressed their displeasure over the orders given by Simon Ekpa to his teeming followers that provokes killings, maiming, burning and other destructive activities

" The Minister who was represented by the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Zubairu Dada said Ekpa’s action is becoming a threat to the forthcoming election, and that the Federal Government would not take it lightly with him and the Finland governments if nothing drastic is not done.

Why the hype over his arrest? It was going to happen the moment Nigeria summoned the Finnish Ambassador to Nigeria and reported him .
If Finland had not arrested him, Nigeria under APC administration would have brought him to Nigeria by force
