The spirit of envy is a spirit every true believer should take time out to pray against. Envy has sent so many people into an early grave. This four-letter word “envy” has sent a lot of souls into hellfire. There’s no place this spirit cannot operate. It has torn many families apart, destroyed many churches, and turned best friends into enemies. Cain and Abel were once happy siblings who did things in common with joy and love until Cain opened his heart to the spirit of envy. Genesis 4:3-10 KJV

The Envious Counsellors On Pulpits: These are counsellors that would never allow those they counsel to get to the gate of Heaven. The same people who shouted, “Hosanna, hosanna” to Jesus Christ also turned again and shouted, “Crucify him, crucify him.” This is simply because they listened to the counsel of the envious and heartless chief priests and Pharisees. Throughout the ministry of Jesus Christ, their business was to counsel the people against Him and so it is today. Mark 15:10 KJV

Envious Spirit Amongst Ministers: Like Apostle Paul cried out in his days, saying: “Some indeed preach Christ out of envy and strive, while some of goodwill”, so it is in our day. Most ministers are not preaching to lead the people to heaven, but for their selfish interests. Which is why they would do everything to frustrate any genuine minister preaching the genuine gospel of Truth. Philippians 1:15 KJV

Reflection: For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work. James 3:16 KJV

Prayer/Activity: Keeping Repeating to your mind/spirit. For at least 30 minutes every day for 2 weeks. I have receive by Christ, the gift of righetousness, Spirit of love and sound mind.

Note: Before doing this prayer/activity. You must first of all, denounce flesh as the controller and master in your life, if you haven’t done it.

The devil targets marriage so that the children there from can grow with hate and scorn for the society and end up as vagabonds, hoodlums and mass murderers or afflicted with one social vice or the other.
