God made everything (Our proof is in Genesis 1:1-5)

 Day One, at first the earth was covered in water and there was darkness everywhere. But God had a wonderful plan and purpose for the world, and He did not want it to stay empty.
- So God spoke and said, “Let there be light.” Just as His power had created the heavens and the earth, now His power created the light.
- He called the light ‘Day’ and the darkness ‘Night.’ As God looked at what He had made, He said, “This is good.” It was part of His special plan.
- The Bible says there was evening, and morning, and that was the first day. Before that there had not been any day at all.

Lesson: This God is synonymous to light, cleanliness, beauty, health and life. His work is always beautiful.

 Day Number Two – the Bible says that God made the waters to separate into two parts.
- Above the sky there were huge clouds that held lots of water. Then there was the sky, or the air, and below that was all the water on the surface of the earth.
- If there was no air you and I would not be alive because we need air to breathe. So God made the air as part of His special plan.
 - The Bible says there was evening, and there was morning, and that was the end of the second day.

 Day Number Three – God said, “Now, I want the water to gather together so that dry land can come up above the water.” So God spoke and hills and valleys were made.
- Then God looked at the land and said, “I want to have some plants on the land.” So God put the plants on the land. They were not just seeds that God planted. He made full-size plants with different flowers and different leaves. Then He made the trees.
The first trees were already fully-grown with their fruit and seeds, so when the seeds fell to the ground they would grow more trees.
- The plants all had seeds in them so when they fell down to the ground more plants would grow. He made them to grow only the same kind of plants.When we plant a carrot seed what will grow? (Get response) A carrot. Does that mean if we plant a carrot seed we will get rice? (Get response) NO!That is why God said, “Every plant and tree will have seeds to make more of the same kind of plants and trees.”
- God looked at everything He had made and He was very happy. He said, “It is good.” It was also part of His special plan.
- And there was evening and morning, and that was the end of the third day.

In conclusion:
Day 2and 3 God separated then created plant and it didn’t just stop there He also gave the plant capacity to reproduce after its own kind. As God creation you must do great work just as your maker.
 
Week 3: He is Light

- He also created the moon and all the stars so that they would give some light at night.

- Then God looked at them all and said, “This is all good. It was just the way He wanted it, because it was all part of His special plan.
- There was evening, and there was morning and that was the end of the fourth day.
 On the fifth dayGod looked at the sea, and He said, “Let there be living things in the sea!”
- So He made all kinds of things to live in the sea. He made dolphins and whales and sharks, and all different kinds of fish, starfish, jellyfish, and thousands of other things that live in the sea. God created every one of them.
- Then He said, “Let the sky be full of all kinds of different birds.” So He made birds of all different colours and sizes, and put them in the sky.
- Then He looked and said, “That is very good!” This was another part of His special plan.
- And then there was evening and there was morning and that was the end of day number five.

In conclusion:
God is a lover of light and if we claim we are His own, we should embrace lights and be light. Light does not lie, steal, deceive, selfish etc.
 

Week 4: (God’s biggest Creation)

Introduction
God kept is best for the last day of creation; God wanted this person to enjoy the best of life and made everything so that he could have all. This creation was so important to God that He had to call the first ever board meeting to discuss how he could make this creation just exactly like Him.


Discussion:
What was the creation that was so dear to God? Answer: YOU! Genesis 1:26

 Day Number Six God looked at all the dry land and said, “I want this whole land to be full of all different kinds of animals.”
- When He had made all the animals He looked at everything that was now on the earth. He thought, “Now that all this is finished, everything is ready.”
- Ready for what? Ready for the most special part of God’s wonderful plan!
- The next thing God did was something very special. He took some ground from the earth and made it into the shape of a person.When He got it just the way that He wanted it, the Bible says that God breathed into the nose of the shape that He had made. God’s breath was so powerful, that the shape made out of the ground became a living person.
- The first person that God made was called Adam.
Then Adam said to God, “I have not found anybody here that I could be really good friends with. There are many animals, but there is nobody just like me.”
- So God’s very special plan was to make people. And all the other things He made were just part of getting the earth ready to be a wonderful home for these people.
- But why do you think God made people? (Get ideas from the students) here is the reason why. God has a heart filled with love and He wants to share that love. He made people just so that He would have someone to love. And of course, he wanted them to love him in return.
- It is wonderful to know that God made people for one special reason – so they could be loved by him.
- And that is the same reason God made you and everyone else in the world. Part of His special plan is that He wants to share His love with you, and He also wants you to love Him.
- Now that the first people and their wonderful home on earth had been finished, God looked at everything He had made and said, “It is very good.”
- When He looks at you, He thinks you are very good! That is because you are part of His special plan, you are not a mistake.
- There was evening, and there was morning, and that was the end of the sixth day.

 Day Number SevenGod had a rest. God enjoyed everything that He had made. He must have thought, “It is all great. I do not want to change any of it.
- “Now I have made some people that I can share my love with, and I have made a beautiful world for them to live in.”

In conclusion:God looked at His works and saw it was good and He rested, you should always ask yourself if your work, soup that cloth you’ve watched is good and when you are sure you done a great job, rest.

- The subject of love is a very sensitive one because it is important to God and the devil; 1John 4:8 tells us that this would help us to constantly define the kingdom we belong to. So, if the subject is sensitive to God and devil, what that informs us, is that there is a way we love of God and another of the devil. So, in the class for this month we will be emphasizing how we can love God’s way and how to recognize that of the devil.

Discussion:
There are seven types of Love, which we will discuss as this class progresses this month.
• Eros: Love of the body. Eros was the Greek word of love and sexual desire. ...
• Philia: Love of the mind. Also known as brotherly love, Philia represents the sincere and platonic love. ...
• Ludus: Playful love.
• Pragma: Longstanding love.
• Agape: Love of the soul.
• Philautia: Love of the self.
• Storge: Love of the child.

 Truth about Love:
 Love belongs to God and Love is God 1John 4:8
 Love is a Fruit of the spirit so, if anyone is not planted in Christ they cannot be able to produce after the order of God’s love as described in Galatians 5:22
 Devil does not have capacity to Love; he can only pretend, so as to steal things in our lives. Mathew 4:11
 Love is God’s Commandment redefined by Christ Mathew 22:36-40
 Love gives “first” and not takes “first” John 3:16
 The love of God is eternal Jeremiah 31:3

In conclusion:
God’s love that we are enjoying and been charged to exhibit can’t be achieved outside God (1 John 4:19). God himself is love so if we must love God, ourselves and neighbors we must therefore abide in Him, because it is only IN and through HIM we can fully express and enjoy God’s kind of love.

Week 6: Valentine’s Day

As a Christian it is good we embrace this opportunity but more importantly, love for us is our own way of life and we shouldn't limit it to a particular day of the year.

February 14, is a day that has been described as lover’s day and as such there will be at least seven different types of love in expression on that day. So, in today’s class we will be examining three out of the seven types of love

Love Types

• Eros: Love of the body. Eros was the Greek word for God of love and sexual desire. Eros kind of love is only permitted by God to exist between husband and wife and not between boyfriend and girlfriend.

• Philautia: Love of the self. God wants us to love ourselves to the fullest. You must like the person you see in the mirror and everything about you. How Do I love myself? Ephesians 5:29, Proverbs 19:8, Psalm 139:14

Conclusion:
In conclusion it is now clear that no love is wrong, the timing and the context of showing it might be the thing wrong with it. But like we established last week that God’s kind of love gives first and He also expects us to love same. John 3:16

- So, a day after valentine what should happen to love? Then brotherly love should continue as God have commanded it. God is love. I hope you still remember that fact about God? And as a result He wants us to replicate such. He led so much emphasis on it importance so He decided making it a law. Therefore in today’s class we shall be looking at the two major types of brotherly love we can express to people around us.

Discussion:
What is Brotherly Love? Is a love express to people, by seeing each other as a part of God. God created everyone including you and as a result all of us are siblings and as a result treat others as yourself. Genesis 5:2, 1:27

Who is your brother or sister? Matthew 12:48-49, Luke 8:21

Love Types

• Ludus: is the flirtatious and teasing kind of love, the love mostly accompanied by dancing or laughter. It’s the child-like and fun kind of love. Jeremiah 30:19, 20, Jeremiah 31:13

• Storge: This is the love parents naturally feel for their children. It’s based on natural feelings and effortless love. Storge is the love that knows forgiveness, acceptance and sacrifice. It is the one that makes you feel secure, comfortable and safe.1 John 3:1


Conclusion:
Brotherly love is a type of love bible encourages us to have towards one another. The love of Christ was described as a great love because a life was given for a friend (John 15:13).
 
Week 8: Best Love Ever

Discussion:
What do you think God’s love is? So what made it possible for God to love us unconditionally and forever? Today, we will be looking at the remaining 2 types of love that we have left.

Love Types

• Pragma:The everlasting love between married couples, which develops over a long period of time. Pragma was the highest form of love; the true commitment that comes from understanding, compromise and tolerance. It is pragmatic this is why it is referred to as “standing in love” rather than “falling in love” because it grows over time and requires profound understanding between lovers who have been together for many years. Jeremiah 31:3

• Agape: It is the selfless kind of love, the love for humanity. It is the unconditional love. The love you give without expecting anything in return reflected in all charitable acts. It is the compassionate love that makes us sympathize with, help and connect to people we don’t know. The world needs more Agape. Luke 10:27-37

Conclusion:
Just as God has loved us with an everlasting and longstanding love, so also we expected to love God, Parents, Friends, Neighbors, Co-worker, Boss, Children, Uncles & Aunties including our enemies (Mathew 5:43-45). This is what truly makes us a child of God
