People need to stop living in denial!!! angry

Nigeria has a lot of problems and we all know this. The perennial violence in the north over religion should concern ALL Nigerians. This cycle of violence is one major reason why Nigeria deserves to be on that list. I consider Nigeria a terrorist nation. It has terrorized my people ever since the 60s.

They will most likely target Nigerians with Muslim names. I feel sorry for the Muslim Yorubas, they are not radical like the Muslim Hausa-Fulani.   cry

@EzeUche

Stop wasting your time with that id'i'ot. You think he doesn't know? Don't indulge him.
I can see it is a waste of time. However, I can't allow this rabid dog to spread false information. You know some people would actually believe his nonsense.

how can bayelsa state be igboland. This is Isaac boro, how many igbo people did he kill. tell me the number,  how does over 3000 sound to you.

leave ijawland. ijaw people get gun now.

https://www.ijawfoundation.org/Isaac_Boro%5B1%5D.jpg
Isaac Boro was misguided. He did not know who the real enemy was until it was to late for him. Last time I checked, Isaac Boro, the native son of Ijawland lost his life to a Yoruba man, not an Igbo. Igbo domination is a myth, the Ijaws are our cousins just like Ibibio, Efik, Idoma and other groups in the East.

Why do you and other non-Eastern groups like to divide the East. Why do you think the lingua franca in the East is Igbo? Many Ijaws speak Igbo.

And you Yoruba dare to claim Delta State even though there is a large Igbo population living there. The nerve of you! angry

My fault son, but when you mistakenly refer to Ibibio or Efik as ibo, they get mad so quick and their heart palpitate like they want to bite you or something like that.
That is, because they are proud of their identity. It is very disrespectful to call a people the name of another people. It is like calling a Kanuri person a Hausa. They are two separate people, but they are still united.

The Efik, Igbo and Ibibio are united. We are all cousins. There is nothing that can divide us and these people fought long and hard for Biafra. You do remember that it was not an Igbo man who surrendered, it was an Ibibio man. (Philip Effiong)

How can you define cowards and backstabbers for me?
1) For reneging on Southern agreement to collude with Northern in 1960 and got your caps peeled up smiley
2) For leaving Eastern jumgle to cause troubles in prosperous Western Region.
3) For having just only 27, 000 square kilometers of land and wanted to put Ibibio and Ijaw that each one of them has more landmass than you under your Biafailed nation.
4) For having just only 27, 000 square kilometers of land and wanted to divide land of 921,00o square kilometers.
These are really traits of cowards and backstabbers.
You fool, you do know that the Ibibio and the Efik are the Ndi Igbo staunchest allies. Shows what you know about Eastern politics. I am an Aro man, with Efik and Ibibio blood running through my veins.

We would get the premier minister of Benin republic and one vice president in benin republic,   This whole problem solve.
I dislike your map. It is not accurate. You are encroaching into Igboland and that is something I will not stand for. Here is a more accurate map of Biafra.

Lets see if these Ijaws have the stomach to fight. Do not make such empty threats. Either way, the Ndi Igbo will watch on the sidelines and see how this plays out. cool

I see bunch of cowards in NL! Can some1 remind us how d small Ghana was able 2 over power their own so called northerners in their country? Bakare is making very much sense, we need 2 masacre all who are behind our problems in naija tru coup or what ever means! Let northeners and their supporters here in NL go to hell.
Ghana is a very interesting case in how the dealt with the northerners. The ethnic groups of the south, in particular, the Ashanti actually enslaved the northerners. If you heard of the Ashanti Empire, they were in the business of war and were able to match the northerners in brutality. That is why they subdued the northern threat. Northerners today in Ghana are treated as second class citizens by the powerful Ashanti. grin

I've been studying trends on nl. How come when threads for bashing yorubas benin etc are opened they hardly get replies but when it's time to bash igbos suddenly nl comes alive. There must be something special or unique about igbos that other peers are so interested in. Time will tell.a
It shows the contempt that most groups in Nigeria have for the Ndi Igbo. We are like the Jews of Nigeria. People hate us, but we are crucial to Nigeria's survival.

The Ndi Igbo are the glue that keeps Nigeria together, without the Ndi Igbo, THINGS WOULD FALL APART!!!

^ yeah thats what i said grin, now guess who is the highest demographic in prisons in Georgia and Virginia grin, there you go
African Americans make up a large proportionate of prisoners in the entire U.S. This is common knowledge. So, are you trying to say that Igbos are more prone to go to jail? Go away with your nonsense

How about your crazy Yoruba brethren in Brazil? Crime is high in that country, because your cousins do not know how to control themselves. Or could there be other reason why crime is high and not because they are Yoruba?

DNA is not a determinant if you will go to jail you fool.

But it is true. A significant amount of african-americans have igbo ancestry. A large number of AA males are in jail grin

Dont you like my logic grin
You people, AA do have Igbo blood running through their veins. There is a place in Virginia called Ebo Landing and also in Georgia where a lot of Igbo slaves went to

I'am tire of hearing this ibo poo, if ibo are so smart why they don't stay build their states instead of moving to places like Timuktu . Let them have their own state so that Kalu can take more of their money to open a bank in Gambia.
Yes, we rather make money in other people's land since people are not as smart as us. Our business acumen cannot be challenged unless the person is an Ashanti, Shona or Gikuyu. These people like the Igbo understand business.

i think these ibos when they get their won country they will act like Ethiopians do when they come in the US [we are different from africans]
We Igbos are a very proud people. But we know we are Africans so no need to segregate us. Ethiopians consider themselves Africans as well. They just have enormous pride since they were never colonized which sets them apart from others on the continent.

Chinua Achebe is indeed a great man of literature, but another man, a Nigerian named Wole Soyinka won the Nobel Prize in Literature. The first African to win the prize if I might add,

Literature pass literature and man pass man my brother. Go recycle the highlighted and resubmit in the next lifetime.
Wole Soyinka is a good man and a Yoruba and he has my respect. However,  Chinua Achebe has been called "the father of modern African writing." Without Chinua Achebe, Wole Soyinka would not have been able to win that award. Even Nelson Mandela, recalling his time as a political prisoner, once referred to Achebe as a writer "in whose company the prison walls fell down."

Chinua Achebe is seen as the greatest African authors that ever lived.

And guess what, this great man is an IGBO!!! People around the world read his novel, THINGS FALL APART. Now what do you Yorubas have to match this great man? The answer is nothing.

I have come to see that some of these Yorubas posters on nairaland have nothing but hate for the Ndi Igbo.

However, I know they do not speak on behalf of the Yoruba nation. I have seen many good Yorubas and many bad.

I wish Biafra would have won the civil war.

This union we call Nigeria is a mess and it should have never been created.
