Kanu is not putting forward any strong arguments or ideas on why Biafra must secede from Nigeria. He is only pandering to the basic instincts of the Igbo people without any clear indication of where he wants to take them.
What constitute Biafra is not even clear to Kanu himself not to mention his blind followers.

The hypocrisy of Kanu and his followers stinks to high heavens.
Just two years ago under Jonathan Kanu was recorded advocating for a peaceful Nigeria, what happened between then and now is still being unraveled.
Now, this is not to suggest that Nigeria doesn't have any problems but what country doesn't?
Not only that, the bulk of the people now supporting Kanu were the same people who were shouting Jonathan forever, they obviously didn't experience any injustice under him.
And finally, any campaign that starts with hate rather than ideas is bound to end very badly.

A sound warning to youth
Let start doing things right, forget about APC,PDP and Biafra. They don't love us, everyone is fighting for their own selfish reason, stop wasting your time supporting these people and hurting your fellow Nigerians, their families are protected and properly taken care of.

Nnamdi Kanu came from the U.K. and spent almost 2 years in prison.

His father and mother still live in Nigeria.

The man has a firm belief in Biafra and many of his supporters also believe in it.

Am sick and tired of Nigeria as well. A country that mistreats my people when we don't harm anyone. We only focus on business but are still hated.

My people just want to be left alone and govern our own affairs.

A referendum is what we are calling for, because this 50 years of going no where needs to end.

Nigeria lost South West Cameroun because the referendum wasn't restricted to the area that desired to join Nigeria. It is same way IPOB is drawing Biafran map with Delta, Rivers, Bayelsa, Cross River and Akwa Ibom. These states are going to vote NO and Biafra will definitely fail.

I have not seen anyone who can counter Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB's narrative about Nigeria.

All I hear is people calling Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB names, and people threatening fire and brimstone to his supporters.

Nigeria is still a failed state that cannot protect its citizens and can't provide the most basic of needs.

Now more people will realize that IPOB is doing the right thing.

The entire system is rotten, so why expect Biafrans to participate in such a rotten system?

So these "Elders" want to go back to the old Eastern region, but not Biafra?

I am sorry if Nnamdi Kanu is making you feel uncomfortable, but Nigeria has been uncomfortable for Igbos for a long time.

If you treated the Igbos with respect like you were supposed to and treated us fairly, we would not had to go this far.

Nigeria's argument is already a losing argument.

Until now, when have you heard Nigerian leaders seriously discuss restructuring and Biafra?

I want to hear from the Rivers youth, not these elders.

It will be the youth who will have to live with the consequences of the actions of their elders.

We know these politically correct Igbos mainly from Lagos who ridicule their own or call them Igbotic just to impress their Yoruba friends.

They are on Facebook and ridicule Igbos for likes or they are on Twitter and they do it for retweets.

It is the Igbos from Lagos that are confused.

Igbos in the East and outside Nigeria are not confused.

The Igbos of Lagos are afraid of the unknown. They feel Lagos is the standard. Many of them do not travel home for Christmas. They are the ones who look down on the East and believe the stereotypes of the East.

And they are the ones who are trying to keep us shackled because of their selfish desire to be in Lagos

Love him or hate him, this man speak truth to power.

That is why so many people are either following him or continue to call him names.

Millions of people from the East know they have gotten a rotten deal from Nigeria and Nnamdi Kanu speaks what they all are thinking. The list is endless.

Lack of infrastructure in the East, oil wealth used for other states that contribute nothing, millions of our people have to travel outside our region to find work.

I should not have to fly into Lagos or Abuja in order to go home to the East.

How can Nigerians counter what Nnamdi Kanu is saying?

The answer is that you can't and that is why some throw names at him.

Nnamdi Kanu is not the disease, he is only a symptom.
