The Capital should be. East - Enugu West - Ibadan North - Kano Middle Belt - Abuja |
Muslcar:You call yourself to order when you discuss Abia. ![]() Arrogant Anambra Igbos. . . Soon you all will be the only Igbos, because everyone else is not Igbo "enough." |
We had been seeking an independent West before independence. Reason Britain was not comfortble with Yoruba leaders in control of government. We saw a "red" flag circumstance in 1966 and because we were savvy and wise, didn't think the time was right. ndigbo wanted a "One Nigeria". They used thug mentality to grab it and failed, woefully! Then they backtracked and said, "you know what, maybe we should just get Biafra. They failed in tat as well. I'm glad Yoruba used wisdom. We see where fools end up after repeated failures!!
Yoruba do or die politics is what brought the Republic to its knees. Do not forget that. . . The Yoruba have always been the weakest link. Your elite blow wherever the wind blows. And you call that wisdom? I dey laugh. |
Muslcar:Is this not the same Azikiwe who ran away from the West and displace Eyo Ita and cause ill will against the Ndigbo with minorities of the East? My grandfather disliked Azikiwe for that reason and many Igbos from Eastern Igboland believed that it was wrong. Western Igboland defended their son, even though they knew he was wrong. Anambra is not the head of Igboland. Arrogant Igbos. . . whose sons brought the war to us, because we know how related Asaba Igbos are with Anambra. |
claremont:Because Northerners kill innocent Southerners even without Boko Haram. That is why we correlate them. |
I will not ignore these foolish Anambra Igbos belittling my home state of Abia. Anambra Igbo with their drug traficking and juju capital of Igboland. And the arrogance that comes from Anambra Igbo, shows why Igbos from Imo, Enugu and Abia sometimes dislike our brothers in that state. |
chino11:Shut your mouth Anambra boy! ![]() Sometimes I dislike Igbos from Anambra. Most crimes committed abroad are done by my Igbo brothers from Anambra. You all are the biggest drug traffickers. |
How many non-Northerners were killed? We all know that it is innocent Southerners who are being killed while drinking. |
Ezeuche I'd choose north a zillion times before south. Don't ask me why. I grew in the north, went to school in north to university level. So you cant be peddling lies about north and think i wont respond. Nah! I contested and won election against an indigine and nobody mention my background even when it was obvious am not from the state, so what are you talking about? I'd trust a northerner with my life a zillion times before turning to any southerner including my southern extended family. I remembered after winning a keen contested election that took us to settle some scores with the then SSS director, one of my opponent brought the issue, but to my utter surprised he was shouted at by his own brothers. The SSS director sacarstically said accept this YORUBA student as your state president(after i won) CAN you believe that! In as long am on this site, i represent 70% north & 30% SW. . .and if am to choose where to be buried I'd still go for NORTH. The northern blood is what keeps me going even when i had the opportunity to steal, lie and cheat I DON'T! Now can speak of thesame in the south? I grew up in one of the most trust worthy society which can never be compared to any place in the country. IMO. Get me right, i have both lived in the SE, SS and now in the SW!
Brainwashed Yoruba, but home is where the heart is. . . I might dislike the North, but I can respect your love for a region that is not your own. |
Rhino are you always on your knees when dealing with the North? Pathetic |
They are getting bolder and will continue to grow as the uneducated population of the North see them as a viable option. |
jason is not very smart. The boy is too daft. That is why I do not entertain him much, because I get a headache arguing with fools like him. |
ZnO:Gbam! And this is not counting Igbos in neighboring countries. Igbo numbers are not really known. There were population pressures dating back to the 1800s. |
maga1:Who said these groups have more people than the Igbo who can be found in every part of Nigeria and Africa? Yorubas are not even being considered. |
Johndoe100:Tufiakwa! Who dey fear Ijaws? |
I see Igbo, Yoruba and Ibibio being written. ![]() |
Sam Mbakwe was another Igbo politician who cared deeply about his people. https://images.biafranigeriaworld.com/ImoStateGovSamOMbakwe3.jpg |
Aba is the opposite of Umuahia, but that is because Umuahia is the state capital. |
udezue:Sometimes you have to remind people such as her. ![]() |
buzugee:I was just amazed by such literary language that you used. ![]() |
buzugee: ![]() Funniest thing I read on Nairaland. |
Desola:Sorry but I am the original don dada. You refer to my people, you will face my fury. Understand? |
buzugee:You can add Ibibioland and Ekoiland as well. ![]() Just add East of the River Niger. |
I have never seen Igbo beggars. Hawkers. . . Yes but never begging. Igbo man has no time to beg. There is no money to be made, because the Hausa already control that "market." ![]() |
Rgp92:I don't even believe in Nigeria. Why would I want it to be united? If it is not united now, it will never be united. 50 years too late. |
alj harem. . . The West suffers from rampant Islamaphobia. They will invade any country to deal with the threat. We in the "Christian" South are safer than your people. |
afam4eva:http://cityroom.blogs.nytimes.com/2009/07/29/mayor-defends-one-way-tickets-for-homeless/ July 29, 2009, 12:40 PM Mayor Defends One-Way Tickets for Homeless By JULIE BOSMAN and MICHAEL BARBARO Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg defended a city program to send homeless families out of New York on planes, trains and buses on Wednesday, saying it “saves the taxpayers of New York City an enormous amount of money.” Speaking in the Blue Room in City Hall to announce a new finance commissioner, Mr. Bloomberg was asked if the program simply shifts the homelessness program to a different place, as some critics of the program have suggested. “I don’t know, when they get to the other places, whether they find jobs,” Mr. Bloomberg said. “It may be an easier place for them. If we don’t — we either have two choices. We can do this program or pay an enormous amount of money daily to provide housing.” It costs the city about $36,000 a year to provide shelter for a homeless family. The average stay in shelter is about nine months. But Mr. Bloomberg appeared sensitive to the image of flying homeless families to far-flung places, as the program is set up to do. In the past two years, families have been provided one-way tickets to Haiti, Peru, Mexico City, St. Croix, Trinidad and Tobago, Ukraine, Santo Domingo and Casablanca. (The most popular destinations are Puerto Rico, Florida, Georgia and the Carolinas.) “The average cost is trivial,” Mr. Bloomberg said. “Most go by bus. Very few go overseas, very few go long distances. Bus is the normal ways we pay for transportation, rather than air.” In fact, the most common mode of travel for families in the program is air, not bus. Forty-eight percent travel by airplane; 37 percent by bus; and 15 percent by train, according to city data. |

That kind of attitude breeds nothing but ethnic bigotry.
