You wanted to use your exception (the fact that you still own an infinix 10t) to break the rule and I promptly corrected you that exceptions don’t break the rules.
And that led me to ask you to give me stats of those still using iPhones that were produced in 2019 compared to their Android counterparts today, 2026. I can also remember asking you if you could walk into a store to buy yourself an infinix 10T🤣 whereas, the iPhones produced in that same year that very particular phone was dropped are still everywhere on the market. So why this back and forth? Isn’t that enough statistical evidence to tell you that one phone has the longer lifespan and shelf life than the other?
Na me get time because this is just something everybody knows. People still stock up their shops with iPhones made some 5,6-9 years ago, can you try that with Androids without filing for bankruptcy soon? Bro, this is 2026 and not the Stone Age and this is the reason why statistics exist. You can’t just generalize things using only your own experience and knowledge. If I was like you, I would be claiming that the redmi note 8 is the most rugged phone in the world and that it has one of the longest lifespans just because I still have mine. You are the one talking with emotion and illusion. A simple google search would help you. I don’t need google search to know this because I this is my field sir and I know what products people want more. Nobody is keeping a 5-years old infinix in stock because nobody wants it. Nobody is stocking his shop with 4 years old Samsung or google pixel but we still have even iPhone X and XR still selling fast like tomorrow no Dey. This is simply because these phones are built with longevity in mind. Their hardwares and processors in particular are future-proof and this is why even an iPhone made some 7 years ago would easily handle heavy tasks thrown at it in 2026 with ease.

iPhones are about the best mobile phones anyone could buy if your priority is longevity. For example, the IPhone 11 series was released in 2019 and it’s still very usable today. Mention one android that was made in that time-frame and still looks not outdated today? I will help, the s10 is its closest competitor made in that same year, are you saying both phones look like they were released in the same year today, 2026? Mention one xiaomi or Pixel that has the prestige and usability that 2019 phone still has today.
Before you shout “Apple fanboy”, I use both OSes, and yes, while Androids are more practical and flexible, IPhone just keeps working and serves you until you get tired of it. iPhones are the only phones that are produced in such a way that one model isn’t made to heavily outperform its immediate predecessor. Yes, I mean if you have the 15PM for instance, realistically speaking, you don’t need the 16PM and if you own the 17 Promax, buying the 18Promax would be a big waste of money. Androids on the other hand, newer models are made to heavily outclass their immediate predecessors so much that the beastly phone you bought last year would be made to look utterly outdated by its immediate successor. Androids like Infinix and techno are the most notorious for this🤣
Again, I still don’t understand what you meant with that statement that people aren’t buying IPhones for quality because the last time I checked, people are still using iPhones produced in 2014-2015 and they are still rocking hard. Androids don’t have that longevity and that’s fact!

If Tinubu should disconnect these platforms, it will bring attention to him so it is a double edge sword.
