The control relay for the Audi 80 fan is in the main fuse board in the engine bay. Most common cause of failure is water ingress. Replacing it shouldn't cause overheating, unless there's something else wrong. When you say it's overheating, where does the temperature gauge needle settle? When you say sluggish, is this on level ground, or going uphill? Does the engine rev high, yet road speed remains low? Who said the speedo cable has been "condemned"? The Audi 80 B4 doesn't have a speedo cable. The speedo is electronic, so there's a speed transducer on the gearbox. It's on the driver's side, just above and in front of the driveshaft output flange. It has a three-pin connector, though only two wires. The transducer is a known culprit. Cheap to buy used, it's also fitted to Audi A4, A6 and A8, so many to choose from. Another failure point is the magnetic rotor. This is housed within the differential housing. The magnetic rotor often cracks with age, so no EMF is generated for the transducer to pick up. I'm a bit concerned about your lack of dash illumination. Do you mean ALL the the dash lighting? I presume you're referring to the instrument cluster illumination that comes on with your side lights? Gorimakpa: SMH. We would wait for them to collect first because they are first class citizens while we are second class citizens. We are in hot soup in this country. Ordinary NSITF has all this overdo and powerplay, what of NNPC or CBN, Inland revenue and all the other prestigious ones? Why should anyone even bother to apply. Used my uncle auto bfor I was advised to pick manual agaisnt auto, few days later my car not moving fast as espected!!!why in d process of drivin d car I burn d clutch disc"no sabi realease d leg 4 turtu" so weak nw dat it can't move fast....sti usin it like dat sah cos its a bit expensive. But sti fun sha, thk God am nt in lag I for don hear weHhh....cos so tired first day of trail....but gettin use to it sha as par abuja level, my area naa little trafic...but hillmountain if goin bak home, and free goin to office.lol.
