How about assists or key passes? Isn't he supposed to be winning Ronaldo on those ones as a midfielder?

We should not judge Modric based on goals, we should not judge him on assists and we shouldn't judge him on key passes either. What exactly are we supposed to judge him on?
He doesn't have amazing completed dribbling stats like Hazard and Neymar, and he isn't exactly known for interceptions or tackling, he isn't an assist master, one assist the whole UCL campaign and abysmal 2 assists in 25 LA liga matches last season speaks for themselves. He isn't a free kick specialist, he isn't a pass master like Xavi and now Jorginho.
They say he won UCL for Madrid, but dude registered only 1 assist and a goal, the whole UCL campaign and not a single man of the match award. Ronaldo even have more assists, key passes and Man of the match awards in 2017/18 UCL.

What exactly is Modric outstanding at, to deserve WPOTY award ahead of CR7.

He wasn't Croatia best player of the world cup. Whoscored.com stats placed players like Rakitic, Perisic and Brozovic ahead of him in match ratings. Only against Russia did he win Man of the match award, yet he was quickly projected as the tournament MVP, to justify awarding him this WPOTY award tonight. And worst still , it's not like Croatia won the world cup.
Shouldn't the world cup MVP have come from France outstanding players like Mbappe, Pogba, Varane or Griezmann.
But they had to award it to Modric, to justify awarding him the WPOTY award tonight.
The footballing world desperately wants the Messi-Ronaldo duopoly to end, but it doesn't mean we should replace them with inferior players.

What a shame. Ronaldo did well not attending. I guess Messi boycotted the event as well.

I don't know you sir/ma, but God's blessings shall find you and stay permanently with you. CR7 and Messi have made football look so easy that we ordinary mortals tend to take that for granted because we see them do it everyday. Modric knows he was handled the 3 majors awards so UEFA and FIFA can spite Ronaldo.
PS: Why do all these awards happen after Ronaldo's departure from Madrid? Is there a retaliation by the RM board for leaving them?

I don't think it is appropriate to share private discussions/chats without the other person's approval. This is similar to sharing sex tapes made with someone else online. I'm sure people would step in to condemn the uploader of any sex tape that involved her if that ever showed up online without her consent.
Also, her hypocritic prudence is laughable because sex is open for all adults to have or want to have; it's biological and emotional-no one should be shy to ask for it in private, and without fear of sex-shaming.
We should condemn her behavior, not support it. No one should be sex-shamed, certainly not from a private chat angle.

I'm very much aware of DV and gender-based violence, so a lecture won't be necessary. all I've asked is that u condemn what the woman did as unacceptable in any society. I've not supported an assault on a woman, just that u condemn this particular incident. gender is immaterial in violence, stories HV confirmed this
