The 2015 presidential campaign of President Muhammadu Buhari was filled with very wonderful promises of what he said he would do for the country. Then, the country experienced slight economic growth and was ranked third in fastest growing economy. However, Nigerians were already disillusioned with the government of former president Dr. Goodluck Jonathan and indeed yearned for a change of government. In 2015, Buhari historically defeated Goodluck Jonathan to become the number one citizen of the country; with the campaign promises still fresh in the minds of many Nigerians who voted for him, much was expected from him citing the lofty promises he made. Below are top promises by President Buhari and their current status today. 1. Free Food For Schools During the 2015 presidential campaign, Buhari promised to introduce free feeding program for pupils in Nigerian nursery and primary schools; the need for this program cannot be unduly overemphasized due to the fact that a good number Nigerian school children go to school hungry due to the prevalent poverty in the country. The idea to feed school children was highly welcomed by the public. The program kicked off successfully; but the quality of food given to school children was nothing to write home about as the food depicted penury and poverty. Rating: 4/10 2. Create 740,000 Jobs Under the Buhari administration, NBS estimated that 3.3 million Nigerians lost their jobs in a space of 9 months. The recession that bit hard in the country can be connected to that. Under his administration, the high side had job losses with very few securing a job. However, Buhari introduced a youth empowerment scheme known as N-POWER aimed at securing jobs for the Nigerian youth. Rating: 3/10 3. 4 Million New Homes For The Common man: This particular campaign promise was never fulfilled and there is no hope or light at the end of the tunnel to see that it is going to be fulfilled. Housing in Nigeria remains a very serious challenge facing the country. Rating: 2/10 4. 24 Hour Electricity By 2019: This was a lofty promise by Buhari when he campaigned back in 2015; and many Nigerians were quick to believe him. We are in 2019 already and we cannot see the slightest sign that this promise will be fulfilled. This particular campaign promise dates back to the elections in the country in the 1970s and it is sad to note that even in our times, Nigeria can still not provide stable electricity for her citizens. 5. Super Highway, Modern Rail and Commercial Airports: President Buhari must be commended for his effort towards reviving the decaying railway system in the country. The transportation minister Rotimi Amaechi must also be commended for his effort in ensuring that these rail projects meet completion deadline. The Abuja Metro station which links Abuja to Kaduna is world-class. The government of Buhari is also putting effort to ensure that the rail line from Ibadan to Lagos is completed soon. The Akanu Ibiam International airport is also under maintainance to ensure it meets international standards. World leaders from seven different countries of the world gathered round a golden, glassy table to discuss the happening events in the world; it was already known by the powerful few that the time machine had been invented. This sacred knowledge on the location, the inventor and whether there was a time machine or not was known by a selected few and they included powerful clergymen in Christianity, Islam and Judaism, indeed a consortium of the abrahamic faith, politicians including the United Nations Secretary General, Presidents of United States, Saudi Arabia, Nigeria, Brazil, Australia, China and Russia. These seven presidents alone knew about the secrecy behind the invention of the Time machine. In total out of the 20 billion people that inhabited the earth; only 50 knew about this time machine, and they had already sworn in an oath in the sacred river Injuria in the West Indies that they would never reveal to anyone the invention of the time machine, its location or its inventor. Witnesses to that sacred ceremony in the West Indies included Prof Octavius, Mere Marie(the inventor) and Handi the priest who was chief of the ceremony. These seven presidents were on white wrappers covering their unclothedness from waist down to their feets. Each of them held a calabash that contained abominable substances such as human blood, live scorpions, tomato paste and a stench smell of rotten egg even though no rotten egg was on sight. At the instruction of Handi, “You can now drop the calabash” The brown coloured calabash was dropped on the bare floor amidst incoherent, nonsensical incantations made by Handi. The ritual ceremony of oath taking lasted just for an hour. The oath taking was necessary to instill fear in the minds of the powerful few who knew about the Time machine. The Time machine was not invented purely by science. Dark Magic also played its part and in that regard, the spotlight is on the 40 year old beauty Mere Marie; the machine’s inventor. Seated in this meeting that was held in Mein Chow Towers China, the seven presidents representing the seven continents of the world were all seated, also seated were, Pope Harlden I, Sheikh Jakdu, and Rabbi Shamzah; the religious leaders of the Abrahamic faith; representing Christianity, Islam and Judaism. Also seated was the Secretary General of the United Nations. These powerful men had the company of journalists and security details who were inside as well. The focus of discussion was the rising threat of AI Robots. The United States president Roy Glover began by saying, “I believe the future is here for us to utilize, we cannot undermine the technological growth we have experienced since the invention of AI Robots. These robots, I believe are here to serve us and we should be grateful for that…” “But they are becoming smarter than us! Saudi King Ahmed III cut in; “They are doing things better and they are beginning to rebel against us, claiming we are enslaving them. Initially we thought it was not possible for rebellion to be learnt by robots due to the fact that these robots were programmed to do what they do, but here we are! How can we stop this madness? I suggest we ban robots totally. “No! Hell No!! Ban robots? What will happen to the masses? In our generation, we have been able to make a historic stride in eliminating world hunger by ensuring food is produced on a very large scale globally; how do we maintain that? By eliminating robots? No I don’t think so” Nigerian president Ayodele Obi-Yusuf said ending with an authoritative statement, “We can still sort this out in a better way. The United Nations Secretary General Deborah Kim continued by first calming everone down saying, “In this New World Order, There… Then suddenly, Thud!!! The door of the conference room fell flat becoming a former version of itself before installation. Four masked men walked in; they all had highly sophisticated weapons and they held up a pen-like device on their hands threatening to blow the whole place up if the world leaders did not cooperate. The unfolding drama shocked the guests that they were too shocked to move; How did these men get past high security and defense system? They all wondered. The silence came to an end when Jimlon the leader stepped forward and said, ‘We heard the Time Machine has been invented. All we need is cooperation by you. Tell me the location of the machine and we can strike a deal afterwards….. To be continued. Wait for Episode 2 https:///2019/12/abjay-series-the-curse-of-the-time-machine-episode-1.html

As Tweeted by former aviation minister, Femi Fani-Kayode on the replacement of Babatunde Fowler as FIRS chairman. Finally Fowler of FIRS is out and, just as I predicted, he has been replaced by a northern Muslim. When will Tinubu and Osinbajo finally accept that they were outflanked, outmanouvered, fooled and scammed into betraying their own people by the Fulani cabal. Popular German Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke is dead.. Bonnke in his lifetime preached to millions in Africa helping to evangelize the gospel in Africa. His 2000 crusade in Lagos drew a whooping total attendance of 6 million people. Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, it is with sorrow that the Bonnke Family would like to announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, and grandfather, Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke,” Anni Bonnke said in a statement on Saturday afternoon. “He passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on December 7, 2019. For the past 60 years he has preached the glorious Gospel of Jesus throughout the entire world. “We want to thank you on behalf of him and our family, for your kind love and unwavering support, which enabled him to preach the matchless message of salvation to countless people.” Reinhard Bonnke was born in April 19, 1940. He was an evangelist, popularly known for his gospel missions throughout Africa. Bonnke has been an evangelist and missionary in Africa since 1967. Reinhard Bonnke has overseen 75 million recorded conversions to Christ. Reinhard Bonnke became born again at the young age of nine. This was reportedly after his mother called his attention to his sin. This led to him going for missionary work at the age of 10 in Africa, where he claims to have had an encounter with the Holy Spirit. This was just the beginning of his missionary work in Africa. His ministry started formally after he attended Bible College in Wales and was ordained in Germany, where he pastored a church. He eventually left to start his missionary work in Africa in 1969. There, he saw ‘the continent of Africa, being washed in the precious Blood of Jesus.’ This happened in Lesotho. This was the vision for his entire ministry, to reach people by spreading the Gospel. With this vision, Evangelist Bonnke started open-air Gospel Campaigns, conducted city-wide meetings across the continent, and founded the international ministry of Christ for all Nations (CfaN), which has 75 million recorded decisions for Christ. Bonnke's passion for Africa is due to a recurring dream featuring a picture of the map of Africa being spread with red and heard the voice of God crying "Africa Shall Be Saved" That encounter, led him to massive campaigns in evangelism; organising crusades and getting millions saved. His 2017 final crusade in Lagos Passing The Torch had millions in attendance. Source https:///2019/12/popular-evangelist-reinhard-bonnke-is-dead-his-legacy-lives-on.html

Buhari disgracing himself internationally |
Bloomberg Nigeria’s secret police rearrested publisher Omoyele Sowore, a prominent critic of President Muhammadu Buhari, in chaotic scenes at the country’s Federal High Court. Scuffles broke out in the court room as armed Department of State Services operatives detained Sowore and co-defendant Olawale Bakare, his lawyer Femi Falana said. His arrest came less than a day after he was freed from state custody following a court ruling demanding his release. “The charges against him have not been disclosed,” Falana said by phone from the capital, Abuja, where Sowore’s trial was adjourned until Feb. 11. Sowore was first detained in August, after he called for a protest seeking a revolution in Africa’s top oil-producing nation. He’s facing charges including terrorism. Sowore is the founder of popular Nigerian news site Sahara Reporters. He ran against Buhari in presidential elections earlier this year and finished 10th out of about 70 candidates who competed in the vote. Scores of heavily-armed operatives of the Department of State Services are currently chasing the vehicle of Senior Advocate of Nigeria and lawyer to activists, Omoyele Sowore and Olawale Bakare, after he drove them out of the premises of the Federal High Court in Abuja. The move follows the disruption of court proceedings by DSS operatives during the commencement of trial in a case brought against the activists by the Nigerian Government on Friday morning at the Federal High Court. The secret police had made fruitless attempts to rearrest Sowore and Bakare inside the courtroom having only released them on bail on Thursday night. The incident led to rancour and commotion inside and around the court premises with the armed operatives preventing Sowore and team from leaving the place. However, after several minutes of tension, Falana drove the two men in his car out of the court premises with DSS operatives in several vehicles giving them a hot chase behind. Earlier, Falana later met with Justice Ojukwu and DSS’ lawyer, Hassan Liman, in a bid to resolve the matter. The judge adjourned the case to 11, 12 and 13 of February 2020 for further hearing. Sowore sustained bruises all over his body in the course of being rough-handled by DSS operatives inside the court.
