Tonymegabush1:LET ME ARCHIVE THIS, IT WILL MAKE MUCH SENSE BUT BROS WHO GO COME WIN THE FINAL? |
ahiboilandgas:I am not denying the fact that there are all these places you mentioned, I am just clarifying that it is not an Islam thing by giving reference on the position of Islam on it and using South Westerners in Nigeria as case study. You can look up Saudi Arabia, Qatar etc and confirm that begging has no basis in Islam. You will agree with me that all those you mentioned has a tribe in common, its cultural! |
Exc2000:The first question should be what is hadith and what is sunnah. if we have been able to answer that correctly then these verses will help answer your question. Muhammad was sent as a Mercy for all that exists; He does not speak of His Desire Allah said in Suratu-Najm ﴿وَمَا يَنطِقُ عَنِ الْهَوَى ﴾ (Nor does he speak of desire), asserting that nothing the Prophet utters is of his own desire or wish, ﴿إِنْ هُوَ إِلاَّ وَحْىٌ يُوحَى ﴾ (It is only a revelation revealed.), means, he only conveys to the people what he was commanded to convey, in its entirety without additions or deletions. More: You have an excellent model in the Messenger of Allah, for all who put their hope in Allah and the Last Day and remember Allah much. (Surat al-Ahzab :21) Allah showed great kindness to the believers when He sent a Messenger to them from among themselves to recite His Signs to them, purify them and teach them the Book and Wisdom, even though before that they were clearly misguided. (Surah Al `Imran: 164) We have sent you bearing witness, bringing good news, and warning so that you might all believe in Allah and His Messenger as well as honor, respect, and glorify Him in the morning and the evening. Those who pledge their allegiance to you pledge allegiance to Allah. Allah`s hand is over their hands. Those who break their pledge only break it against themselves. But as for those who fulfill the contract they have made with Allah, We will give them an immense reward. (Surat al-Fath: 8-10)We have sent you bearing witness, bringing good news, and warning so that you might all believe in Allah and His Messenger as well as honor, respect, and glorify Him in the morning and the evening. Those who pledge their allegiance to you pledge allegiance to Allah. Allah`s hand is over their hands. Those who break their pledge only break it against themselves. But as for those who fulfill the contract they have made with Allah, We will give them an immense reward. (Surat al-Fath: 8-10) [The believers are] those who follow the Messenger, the unlettered Prophet, whom they find written down with them in the Torah and the Gospel, commanding them to do right and forbidding them to do wrong, making good things lawful for them and bad things forbidden for them, relieving them of their heavy loads and the chains that were around them. Those who believe in him, honor and help him, and follow the Light that has been sent down with him are successful. (Surat al-A`raf: 157) You should accept whatever the Messenger gives you and abandon whatever he tells you to abandon. Have taqwa of Allah... (Surat al-Hashr: 7) O you who believe, obey Allah, the Messenger, and those in command among you. If you disagree about something, refer it back to Allah and the Messenger, if you believe in Allah and the Last Day. That is the best thing to do and gives the best result. (Surat an-Nisa`: 59) but to mention a few |
ahiboilandgas:Almajiri menace has nothing to do with islam, it has no basis in islam. It is a northern problem which all reasonable, knowledgeable and elite northerner should work to eradicate lets not ascribe it to Islam. There at at least 50% muslims that are of south western origin and you will agree with me that there is nothing like almajiri though we have beggars that are Yoruba muslim or non muslim. The Prophet, peace and blessings upon him, regarded begging which is taken as an occupation as disgrace and said: “Some among you do not ever abandon begging. Finally, on the Day of Resurrection, that dishonorable person will meet Allah with no flesh left on his face.” (Muslim, Zakat, 103) “Whoever continues to beg people for their property in order to accumulate much property, surely asks for a piece of fire…” (Muslim, Zakat, 105). “It is better for one among you to bring a load of firewood on his back and give charity out of it (and satisfy his own need) and be independent of people, than that he should beg from people, whether they give him anything or refuse him (Muslim, Zakat, 107) Islam does not deem Muslims who do not work, who sit idly, make do with a morsel and a coat, and who pose burden on other Muslims as good Muslims. As is understood in the hadiths above, it is strictly forbidden to beg and to take begging as an occupation. Begging is no more than laziness and manipulating philanthropic feelings of the community. Such people do not even abstain from interpreting the idea of tawakkul (putting one’s trust in God) according to themselves. They deem it tawakkul to sit back idly and expect some things from others. |
Kingharzyz:I think everyone cannot be preaching the same thing just like not everyone will teach english, maths or geography. Some will specialize on certain things and i think if we read this post objectively, there is nothing extremism about it rather if focuses on importance of being sincere in all trade. If it is being sold without being sorted or finding out what a consignment contains, it is not permissible to buy it, because that comes under the heading of ambiguity, which is forbidden because of the report narrated by Muslim (1513) from Abu Hurayrah who said: The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) forbade transactions involving ambiguity. That part particularly states clearly the need to open in all trade, to know the exact thing you are buying and not pay for a certain thing and get something else when the pack is opened, a no testing kind of. Islam is a whole way of life and encompasses all spheres of life including being fair to each other in trade. What happen if i take the pack home and realize its not what i bargained for that is packed. The other part of the post says if you have seen the goods and you are satisfied with it even if it is okrika you can buy it. Thats why Allah said in Surat-Al-Mutaffifin, Allah revealed: وَيْلٌ لِّلْمُطَفِّفِينَ (Woe to Al-Mutaffifin.) After this, they began to give good measure.'' The meaning of the word Tatfif here is to be stingy with measurement and weight, either by increasing it if it is due from the others, or decreasing it if it is a debt. ...and Allah knows best |
IceColdVeins:i guess the imam is ignorant of the exact thing the prophet said. For emphasis sake and illustration of how bad it is for a muslim male to pray at home, he said "I would have ordered that the call to prayer be given, then I would have told a man to lead the people in prayer, then I would have gone from behind and burned the houses of men who did not attend the (congregational) prayer down around them". That never happened, he did not do it neither did he order anyone to, its just to show how much Allah dislike such act and how important it is to pray in the mosque in congregation. there are lots of hadith that emphasizes the importance and reward of praying in the mosque in congregation, this particular hadith is like a warning against dropping such rewarding act. You can google search the hadith yourself, thats the importance of knowledge of the deen. You can read this for better understanding https://abuaminaelias.com/did-the-prophet-burn-down-peoples-houses-for-missing-the-prayer/ ...and Allah knows best |

johnmattew:Truth is, though the people love him even though all his said roads are below standard, he may not win primaries talkless of going to general election where he can get the support of the people that love him |

Jokerman:so twice in 9 years is always? Why did he not vote Ronaldo between 2010 and 2017 when the competition was fierce between them? He should have voted Van Dijk who was a close rival in this year FIFA best |
A flash of average lightning contains about five million volts of electricity. It is more severe in animals because they have wider steps which make voltage higher. If the current flows through the front and back legs, it will always flow through the animal’s heart. This makes the risk of death higher. Animals that move on fours like cattle and giraffe are at higher risks because both feet are too apart. This is why a major safety tip for lightning is to keep both feet together. In 2011, Universiti Putra Malaysia electrical engineer Chandima Gomes, one of the foremost experts on lightning safety, wrote that, “animals with a large separation between their front and back feet… are vulnerable to receive lightning injuries due to the dangerous potential differences that may built up between these feet, in the event of nearby lightning.” https://etn24.com/2019/09/this-science-may-explain-why-cows-were-struck-dead-by-lightning-in-ondo-state.html |
UNCL3:I guess that's your perception. He doesnt make it seem so. Even the night he talked about the dinner thing, he didnt say they are best of friends neither did he say he will like to have dinner with him. What he said is they have never had and he hope one day they do so i dont know where you got your perception from. On the other hand, why did Messi not invite him for dinner or does Messi see him as his enemy too? |
frankmoney:no mind them, they are confused |
mystical109:"ALWAYS"? How many times did Messi vote for Ronaldo |
priceaction:The UEFA best player that he attended and Van Dijk won, I guess from your analogy he was sure he will win it right?. Why did Messi not attend last year, guess he was not arrogant not to have attended after knowing he didnt even make top three. He did not even attend the 2016 gala, can we conclude he was arrogant too? |
