It is long over due in Nigeria...If Biafra or Ipod want to go let them go once due process is followed. Catalunya has been calling to exit Spain for years now even when due process has been followed and referendum signed, Palestine has been requesting statehood for too long after doing the needful yet the U.N.does not see a need to grant them independence,its California now and also due process is being followed.


That is what is expected,let the Governors,Senators,House of Representatives and Assembly Members and other key stakeholders from the East call for exit from Nigeria and possibly send a copy to UN,Ecowas etc and let's see if anybody will dare not listen to them and in the long run heed their call.

South Sudan became independent in 2011 when they could no more tolerate the Northern part of the country. Though the country is in crisis currently but at least they got what they wanted and are faced with their challenges to overcome themselves with no one to blame

By the way, why are they all running to an infidel country? I understand there are genuine people from those countries, unfortunately the actions of others have spoilt things for them. It is funny that non Muslims like to quote the Qur'an out of context and whet the context or analysis is presented to them they still prefer to show their ignorance.

I have said this in my earlier comment,the DSS need to be careful on issues that can throw the country into total war. However,saying El Rufai or Buhari has made more hate speech and they are yet to be arrested is like asking why Wike and Fayose has not been arrested even with all their speech against the President and his family taking into consideration all you all have said about Buhari wanting to deal with Fayose et al. Apart from the fact that DSS is not as neutral as it should be,immunity is one common thing between all these people I mentioned their name regardless of party,religion or region which the Pastor or anyone else don't have.

Also,as others have said,El Rufai's statement is debatable.

Everybody has a right to any association he likes so far it is not criminal. So Igbos have a right to belong to Ndigbo association or whatever it is called(pardon me I don't know the exact name of the association). However,having a president,chairman,head,duke,Coordinator would have been better instead of a title that sounds royal and may constitute having more than one royal head in one kingdom.

The Yorubas I am aware of have association across the world. Egba alone have an association in UK and they have head and has not being an issue. I think tolerance is one thing affecting both parties in this case and it will be wise if the Igbos present a candidate to the Deji and we will see if he actually have a candidate. The Deji can approve whoever they present with a name different from being royal.

The plain truth is,the administration may mean good for the masses but so far it has done more harm than good. Assuming strong foundations are being laid while we undergo this suffering could have been better as we will believe there is light at the end of the tunnel......All well and good,at least there are little achievements,we hope to see more next year.

The said act was committed in 2008. This means it took our judicial system 8years to finally make a pronouncements which may still be appealed.....This is not speaking well of the judicial system in this country.

If this kind of case can take this long,I can't imagine how long it will take to trial Saraki and co even if the anti corruption war is sincere. Little wonder Nigerians prefer jungle justice. I hope we can grow up one day and all those charge and bail lawyers will be more concerned about the future of this country than their pocket.
