MizterAccurate:my thought exactly |
calddon:Sir, banks fall under the category of maximum demand customers whose consumption is very high compared to residential or small industries so they have their own transformers. All commercial banks have individual transformers so they don't rely transformer serving the community. Also, as we read in the news few months ago that the minister of power and the regulatory body(NERC) gave an other that all customers not metered should not pay. The News refer to Maximum demand customers like banks. All of them now have meters at the transformer measuring their usage so they have no reason to complain because they are not billed on estimate. If they want a reduction in their bill then they should reduce their consumption, it is as simple as that!!! |
Eddy2cute:As much as we all agree that the country is in a bad state, I am sure you will not dispute the fact that things are beginning to get better compare to how it was last year. all we pray for is that it is maintained and hope it is sustainable. I will appreciate if we can be objective and be less of a hypocrite when only take what we want. This same NBS gave the reports of Nigeria being the most developed economy in Africa few years ago even when we were borrowing to pay salaries, reported the huge loss of job last year among other things an we never questioned the authenticity nor say more figures. Let's accept the truth always good or bad so far the source is genuine and keep praying for the betterment of Nigeria and wherever we find ourselves |
Soldiers beating up civilian for wearing camouflage,my take as a civilian As much as we all should condemn the way the soldiers treated this lady(the most recent),I think some things need to be made clear. For those saying sexual assault, when guys were beaten no be sexual assault abi,I hear you. For me,these are the reasons why I think they behave this irrational, justified or not the decision is yours!. 1.With the kind of punishment they undergo called training they feel what gives you the right to put on military uniform without suffering what they have suffered. Maybe if their training had been more of exercise and fun than punishment, they may reason otherwise.. 2.Impersonation of any kind is an offence punishable by law in any country. Why impersonate in this first instance if you don't have ulterior motives. 3.They have been using the uniform to take undue privileges since time immemorial like jumping a queue, clearing the road when passing, among other things. So their position is,the only reason you put on their camouflage is to get such privileges. 4.As it is in the case of all impersonation, any wrong committed by any one on a military uniform is tagged as being done by the military just as it is in the case of anybody dressed as a pastor/imam,his church/mosque/association/religion takes the blame for his singular action. So there is a need to curb such so they won't be held accountable for an action they didn't commit. 5.The military is a big family, join them if you want and stop using their uniform to gain cheap popularity and harassing people upandan. These people go don do lots of things and people go don fear dem well well not knowing they are fake. I just hope others will learn from those who have been beaten/harassed and not still fall victim. A word is enough for the wise. #Factualspeech |
laudate:that's his approach and his people likes it,good for him. I am sure no one in the Yoruba Nation will sacrifice his life for one individual that cannot say this is what he has done to improve their lives even the worst of them would av collected stomach infrastructure at least. You don't just wake up and call yourself the president of so so so and so. who does that? Yorubas may been seen as been cowards or afraid, that's the person's personal opinion and s/he is entitled to it but it should be made clear that they have learnt from history and will not come out to risk their lives for things that is very likely to be counterproductive. They are even more learned and prefer scheming to follow due process than continuous cry of the obvious which is marginalization or non development of larger percentage of their region. Obi Ezekwesili and co lead the bring back our girls campaign, the Zik/Awo/Bello et al of those fought for independence while on ground,Nelson Mandela, mahatma Ghandi and others in history were are the fore of the struggle and not away somewhere instigating people against each other in order to laugh at them if things go soar or take to his heels to another country where he is a citizen and can be welcomed. sorry to say, where are those arrested with Nnamdi Kanu, have they been released?,the man who of recent call himself president of Biafra was said to have been arrested with some others, where are those persons today? I will only support you if you lead by example. The Yorubas are not ready to leave,if they are I am sure it is not someone like him that will lead such struggle. remain blessed. |
chukzyfcbb:please remind me of the cups that made the treble that Barça won the next season after losing 7~0 to Bayern. Bayern loss was 2013 and Madrid won the champions league in 2014. Please I will like to be reminded. Please wake me wen Barça win their 6th champions league and the UCL back to back |

This is so funny. How can a fool be abroad and be calling for cessation. Let him come home and start the agitation here, then we will know he is seriously serious. You are not even aware of what is currently happening to the Yoruba people, please tell me who are members of the so called group and what you have done in the past to show us that we should follow you. Dialogue or violence, we need to be at the forefront and not be on exile while calling for people to risk their lives while you are safe abroad. |
Acidosis:you have said it all, initially I wanted to cry at the senselessness of some people but you have done justice already. I pity the generation these kind of people will breed. |
Kudos to Wike...The Ag.President has visited the state like twice and it implies he is doing well. this is the kind of opposition we want not a pomo cutting and noise making fool who cannot differentiate between his right and his left... But to say Wike is the best governor is an insult. Ask people in Lagos let them tell you what Ambode has been doing then u go know watz up. kudos to kebbi state governor too for his huge efforts in economic diversification |
As much as this move sounds good,I think the Senate needs to tread with caution and not make the same mistake Buhari made at the beginning of his administration which has led us where we are today. We are just coming out of recession and these are business moguls that can act as saboteurs to lead us back to recession. It will be a case of what our elders call "kaka k'eku ma je sese ni,aa fi se awa danu". They will prefer that they crash the economy so that people can attack the Senate for taking such step. The lack of strategy and techniques in Buhari's administration's approach to fighting corruption made corruption to fight back to the extent that some educated illiterates started saying brink back corruption. I can remember Ifeanyi Uba of capital oil saying if he is appointed as part of the economic team the value of the naira will appreciate when it was around #320=$1 over a year ago. The naira appreciated by over #50 within two days of making such statement. This is a clear indication that these people can create artificial economic crisis to show their might as against the interest of Nigerians. Let's be more tactical considering the facts that some of these companies are not locally owned. |
OBAGADAFFI:my oga, let's make it simple. ADB is the one giving the loan to Ebonyi right? And ADB cannot afford to provide to total amount required by Ebonyi right? So (in your words) ADB approaches IDB for support right? And IDB agreed right? The word co-finance was used cos IDB will contribute at least 30% but let's assume IDB contributed just $10m of the $70m. That means Ebonyi is taking $10m from IDB right? Ebonyi is taking a loan from an Islamic bank right? And anything that has Islam is Islamization agenda right? Does it mean Ebonyi state governor and ADB is partnering to islamize Ebonyi? Why can't Ebonyi ask ADB to give them the % they can afford of the $70m they are requesting and ignore the % from IDB? Or ask ADB to get the co-financing from world bank or other places other than IDB? May be I will understand your position if these questions are answered genuinely. Thanks |
These are my key points for those who do not know what their adopted son did to the biafra agitators.. In 2011, he and 280 MASSOB members were arrested in Enugu while attending a function in honour of late Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu.. In February 2013, MASSOB claimed that several corpses found floating in the Ezu River on the boundary of Enugu and Anambra States were those of its members previously arrested by the police On May 31, 2013, Uwazurike’s MASSOB was branded as one of three extremist groups threatening the security of Nigeria. In fact former President Goodluck Jonathan declared that the Nigerian state faced three fundamental security challenges posed by extremist groups which he listed as Boko Haram in the North; the MASSOB in the South-East; and the Oodua People’s Congress OPC, in the South-West.. Jonathan called Biafra agitators terrorists?,comparing them with boko haram? That's so bad, I think he should be disowned!!! |
Shalomdee:lmao, I believe an open minded look into NERDC's website will educate more than I have presented it. I will like to add this I will like to make it clear that I don't have any problem with what the house did neither am I in support or against the change by NERDC, I am mainly concerned about the way it is being presented by the media and whoever is propagating it. you will agree with me that the country is very volatile and we need to be very careful when it comes to matters of the religion knowing fully well that people these days don't go into research to know if what they were told is true or not. CAN and co made the news with it by saying Buhari "the already tagged bigot"'s administration proposed and implemented it under a Muslim northerner as the education minister just as they did my Pastor Adeboye's resignation and the implementation of a law passed by the house and upheld by the court which was being enforced by a Christian. That alone is enough to add more fuel to the already burning fire of hatred between the acclaimed followers of both religion. There is no crime in being truthful that Jonathan started it but they are not okay with it and will appreciate if the current administration can reverse it instead of always playing the victim card. On who to teach,NERDC was clear on this on their website. It states that the subjects will be taken simultaneously at different classes. This is an indication that there will be different teachers for both subjects. |

Both are totally different. Arabic is just a language that every tom, dick and harry can learn but Islamic religious knowledge encompasses lots and lots of things. Now to the gist that I said you did not get, nobody is talking about Islamic Religious Knowledge but Arabic studies. In 2014 there was basic school curriculum to have a uniform curriculum across the country. NERDC was given the duty and they reviewed 22 different subjects into 7 headings which made some subjects have sub under it. An example is Religious and National Values which have CRK,IRS, Civic Education, Social studies etc. It has two or three more sub-headings like that. The policy states that different classes should be used for CRK or IRS depending on which one you want to study. For Arabic, it is stated clearly as "OPTIONAL" and the heading of the list of subjects reads "a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 7 subjects(which is for anyone offering Arabic)". With this there should have been no cries to the Ag. President or the media of CRK being scrapped or IRS being imposed. Arabic was the bone of contention not CRK or IRS. Their claim is Arabic is imposed on their children when they are not Muslims. This is false and an open minded look into NERDC website will educate anyone interested in facts. The spread of this falsehood by CAN,Apostle Suleman and others is being portrayed as if the curriculum was introduced under the Buhari led administration by a Muslim northerner Minister of Education (knowing fully well the state of religious divides in the country in which a small ignition can lead to destruction of lots of things) where as it was introduced under Jonathan administration with Wike as the coordination minister of education I guess. Please join me in reading this link http://nerdc.org.ng/eCurriculum/ CurriculumStructure.aspx |
as much as i welcome over 90% of wat he said,i am afraid that this states are not strong even when they are spoon-fed talkless of when they are now independent. they receive allocation, they take paris club fund, they take derivation % yet they cant pay salary talkless of moving the state forward or internally generated revenue |

I am sure interview for ordinary SIWES or I.T will be more strict than the ethics committee that accepts a promise to provide an affidavit in future, who prefers just mere statements without call for evidence as genuine. Everything is just pointing to the same direction. This Daniel Melaiye case taya me,e b like the James Onanefe Ibori and James Onafefe Ibori of those days. Ma convocation pixs,B.Sc certificate, group pix on convocation and in NYSC,NYSC discharge certificate et al are there even though it is just four years ago I graduated so why has A.B.U refused to issue a B.A in geography certificate after bro Melaiye graduated since 17years ago. Or is it because they want to issue certificate in herbal geography cos it seems thats what his credit in C.R.K,Agric and Biology can give. I siddon jeje dey watch |

Stephanie is yet to convince me with all the thrash she and her lawyers have provided The dad claim he left Stephanie and the mum over 30 years ago and Stephanie is 23 years The dad said he left them because of the mums wayward attitude The mum said she has not seen her for over three years yet she can speak of her where about The dad and mum have denied seeing her yet she claim they had introduction and met the Apostle with her mum (without any evidence) The Apostle accepted knowing her but have not me her once yet he accepted sending her money directly more than once The apostle claim she is blackmailing him so he ordered her arrest by the police (you cant blackmail without having anything though you may blow it out of proportion) Someone claim her name is being used as Queen Esther that she denied the blackmail job when Keyamo and co approached her. I am sure they would have used someone else instead of impersonating Queen Esther. What i can deduce from here is,this Queen Esther actually have something on the Apostle that is why they are bent on using her name. Summary, the pastor has skeleton in his cupboard (like 30%) but Stephanie and those involved are ready to blow it out of proportion to like (70% or more) |
ngeneukwuewuGOAT:I ready to learn pls enlighten me where the law says it must be the next. I will also like to ask if Col. Ali is the first to be appointed outside of the system.
