Thank you Eko Ile, infact I never believe it to be cable bridge that is the reason I referenced it. Indeed first in W/ Africa. See those guys, with crude Oil special fund (oil producing states) in billions nothing to show. Kindly go kill your governors. Thanks Eko Ile. I so much adore this cable bridge picture, in Nigeria. Wow! I am sure this Phanton of a guy does not know what cable bridge tech is. Thumb up to you my guy.

Eko Ile, thanks for the pics especially that of the Ikoyi link bridge. I never knew this is how it will look after completion. I will enjoy the sight from my office in real time. Thank God I never consent to my brother asking me to relocate abroad like he did. Wow! We can have something to reference as yardstick to physical development. Eko nile indeed, Eko O ni Baje O.

Oro ologbon kii yati, ta alagan na ni ni baba. Exactly what I thought through in my mind. Why can't this guy paste PH pictures here? He ask for what Fashola did he was shown, and then more, given. Kindly ignore this guy my brother, he is sufering from a condition called "Cerebral Envious-Pherectomy Elephantiasis".

If we don't develop the mind that use all those infrastructure we shall always regret we did put them in places. For instance, if the drivers are not trained you will always meet them inside the water in that Ikoyi bridge in picture. Please wake up Nigerians. Fashola is working. Thanks for those pictures, kindly give more and more. You can come and see the Ikoyi bridge under construction. I can see it through my office window. Will be a lovely sight seen when completed.

I smile when people say show me physical project. Are the physical project that first develop America, UK, Netherlands, Belgium, China, India, Singapore, Australia, Canada, Brazil etc. Kindly tow the line of history, philoshophy and governace. I believe by the time you do, you will have a change of mind on physical project and give it to Fashola.

Otitokoro, this is the kind of argument NL should pursue assiduously. Constructive and sincere argument. Frankly, I felt disappointed in Nigeria project. All has ever been in the same direction several years back, our contemporary or sisters nations have passed us by and the same old wine has been in a new bottle here. It saddened me, it did the more when I travel abroad to nations that were looking us as superstar before independent. As Nigerians toil hard in nations that were never at par at independence, Singapore, Finland, China, South Africa, Malaysia etal. This is the reason I don't want to see anyone criticise Lagos disconstructively as it is seen as reference point. South West lost to ACN is the courtesy of Lagos performance in mist of none. In the mist of Federal Government Spending of over $6 Billion to power without power. My brother, these are the bone of contension. The situation is greatly appalling. This is where we belong, here we are 1st class citizen and no class anywhere. Thanks for been reasonable.
PoliticsRe: What Is The Big Deal About Fashola? Nonsense! by fadhill: 1:32pm On May 25, 2011
Holistically, the reason for this is the absence of true federalism and politicising everything about all things in Nigeria. My brother, this is the reasoning time. Name a single city in the world like Lagos that does not have a light rail metro system and like amenities across the world. Kindly name a city like Lagos the world over which its government does not cede a special economic and social interest. What special interest does the government give to Lagos aside the fact that they acknowledge Lagos hold over 52% of Nigeria commerce and industry. Mind you New York does not have such staggering percentage in US commerce and industry. London, no. Tokyo, never. Why the neglect, why do they let Lagos live on meager resources like other snoring states. Let be realistic and then face it brother. This is the plight of Lagos, an orphan state.

I don't know what manner of education we have in Nigeria. Sorry no education in the last 12 years. All the same, all these people that complain about tax in Nigeria pay tax through their nostrils in developed world which they dare not evade. What kind of people are we, our parent toil for us so that we can raise our head in the society yet they want us to sustain them in old age. You want to enjoy world class amenities and you don't want a pay back to the state. All nigerians could not do abroad are done in Nigeria ones they set their feet on this soil. Opopo moka mo roro, you think someone use his tongue. Let's be wise Nigerians.
PoliticsRe: What Is The Big Deal About Fashola? Nonsense! by fadhill: 12:50pm On May 25, 2011
I see the reason you don't want to die with the inferiority complex. The reason that you have missed out in Nigeria equation. Sorry about that. This is not enough reason for you not to move in wagon of progress and accomplishment when seen. May God heal you, couple with your envy Lagos will continue to prosper. And it will continue to be the light in the dark that shines into Nigeria life.
PoliticsRe: What Is The Big Deal About Fashola? Nonsense! by fadhill: 12:29pm On May 25, 2011
DAY11, you are not serious. What do you mean, I will name my child Fashola before you. Well, the hype just begin. What a HYPE season. Fashola Ride On.
PoliticsRe: What Is The Big Deal About Fashola? Nonsense! by fadhill: 12:18pm On May 25, 2011
What we do not get right is that development is carried out in phases. Then follow the light rail metro which is expected to remove the burden from the road. The BRT is used as temporary measure due to the cost prohibiting nature of light rail metro transit. In order not to see the government not doing anything to alleviate the problem, that was the reason for BRT. The big deal is the Light Rail Metro. Try follow government programme it is not about Working Before Thinking this is what Fashola has avoided. Well unlike someone that issue ultimatum. God help Nigeria and God continue to strengthen Fashola. People please think and don't just criticize. Fashola is Working, Lagos is Moving to greater heights.

Why people will not envy good work. Do you blame them they have not witnessed this in yeons, courtesy of PDP mass murder of Nigeria institution. Fashole, kindly ride on. Name your state governor for comparison. Lagos will not hit rock. Ride on Fas.

@olyivy, Yanmirin like you, may I know the alocation of Lagos to crutinize if what you said is true. Do you know how musch GEJ has spent on power and refinery since he assumed office. May be I need to advice you to wake up from slumber.

Skii , dont mind them they are the people that dont want to pay tax. May be they dont have business acumen to better their business to pay transport fare around Lagos. They shld go back to their state to live for six months and then compair Fashola. Eko O ni Baje O.

Why some people will gladly live in the realm mental short-sightedness. Is Fashola Working? NO! Are your states thieves working? YESsssssssss! Bunch of Nonentity. Mind you, the population of New York is 8M and the state has witness uninteruptible development and overhauling decades ago. And Lagos is 18M with series of incensant neglect decades ago. With the current state of lagos that generates bilions of naira for the country. Some still complain Fashola is not doing anuthing. Contary to what people say about "common sense", common sense has not avail some nairalanders.

Recently, in a news covered last week by The Nation newspaper some Ibo/Igbo/Igbo/Eebo/Heebo guys were arested in India, Hyderabad City to be precise for cyber-crime and all sorts. Your syndicate has spread its tentacles from western Nigeria states to cities across the globe. Please desist from soiling Nigeria name. Please for the sake of our children. If you are not dead in poverty how come you travel all places to deface Nigeria name nationally and internationally. Ah! angry angry embarassed embarassed cry cry

PoliticsRe: Oyo, Imo, Ogun, Others Lead In Armed Robbery In Nigeria. by fadhill: 7:54pm On May 13, 2011
You see yourself. You sound so funny and quiet appalling you are at an arm length to intellectual drill. I search through and found no reference to the ritual killing and robbery cited. Mind you if true, I believe the newspaper does not indicate the people that are in this dastardly act. Bet friends, huge percentage of the people carrying out this robbery are your people. Let me give you this instance, when my company sent me for a training outside Nigeria. I swear with this story that is nothing but the truth. Some Ibo/Igbo/Igbo/Eebo/Heebo guys were found committing ciber-crime, phone jacking and all sorts. Tens of them are in jail while some were sent to other world already. The city inhabitant were so much concerned about Nigerians that they did not want to give them apartment for rent. So this is the point, the crime rate in this city shoot above others as a result of this criminals from Nigeria. The guy that was executed in Singapore , which rented the news across the globe then. You should remember, he was Ibo/Igbo/Igbo/Eebo/Heebo remember. This tell you that Ibo/Igbo/Igbo/Eebo/Heebo are people behind this heinous crime, all in the name of economic migration to western Nigeria. Indeed appalling.

Sorry we had what others did not have. Try recal, if all these natural resources is what made a nation. Where will Belgium, UK, America, Singapore etc. will be today. Ofcourse in the dustbin of history. But their intellectual prowess bury the mountain of challenges they had, they are torch to the world today. Before a physical development, there must be a formidable institution built by intellectualls. That is the reason oil has been a course to Nigeria Nation. Oil came to break what cocoa has built. Oh Oil kindly dry as did in Oloibiri and return Nigeria to cocoa dominant economy. Fews words enough for the wise.

May be you were thinking about crude oil. Before you make your argument, Oloibiri Oilfield was discovered on Sunday 15th January 1956 by Shell Darcy the first ever. So what resource(s) you thing that could be? To add to it, large percentage of Yorooba/Yorowba/Yorowba is not concern about Nigeria Oil, that is the reason we are not concern about mainstream politics of "Chop-I-Chop". Our concern is regional development with our resources and by our people, as you can see in our usual culture and voting patern demonstrated in just concluded election.

Again, thanks for using the world indolent to define Yoruba\Yorooba\Yorowba. Indeed you are right, we are indolent to crime, 419, ritual killings, kidnapping, militancy and its likes. But some tribes are indolent to this in Nigeria. Thanks for this plus, so you are coming to terms.

Does this not tell you the contrary why Abuja is usually deserted during public Holiday and festivities. Over 50% of Nigeria wealth goes to Abuja, yet people troop in and out. Compare these with New York and Chicago. Mumbai and New Delhi, and many world capitals that change hands. In economics, the most attracting factors to industries are nearness to natural resources and intellectual capital. We in south west meet this definition and equally surpasses this. And the case of Ibadan what made people troop there? Mind you the Colony and Protectorate of Nigeria was established in 1914, Lagos was declared its capital. Then Ibadan had the skyscraper before Lagos, TV station before Lagos, Stadium before Lagos, University before Lagos etc. Under western region. Kindly wakeup and make meaningful yardstick to measure your points.

Let me make you understand a fact. Do you think America money was what build Manhatan, the world economic capital. It was building majorly by finance from Asia, Middle-East and Europe. What did these people see in America. They saw intelligent work force, intellectual population, objectivity of the people, industrious and hardworking populace. These was what you saw in West that made you to move to Lagos and south-west in troop. Where were you when western region build the first skyscraper in tropical africa. What you don't know that generation of south west today are more sophisticated than their fathers. Glad our forefathers prayer is answered-may our children achieve all we could not. Many Awos are not in the making, they are made already. Military incursion and political instability in Nigeria has been the cog in our progress wheel. We are set to lead you again, again we shall lead.

Background you called that? We are set again to take Nigeria out of the political strangulation experienced in recent time. I thank you for not denying the ascertion I made about my nation-Yorooba/Yoruba/Yorowba.That you have asked where we are today? Well, this is where we stand today. As a titbit, the President GEJ said during the campaign that my people are sophisticated and that over 50% of Nigeria Economy is in Lagos. My friend, over 50%. Kindly ask economist what this mean.

Ngodigha, I think you hardly read and associate. I am not surprised as you have claimed that you live all your life in the Eastern Nigeria. The fact of Ibo/Igbo/Heebo/Igbo/Eebo doesn't make your tribe what you are not. Better open eyes to the reality of this age. I bet you have something of knowledge to share. That I feel the reason you don't make any meaningful contribution to every thread I met you. Go seek for knowledge man! Don't assume what you don't represent, courtesy of inferiority complex. Yooroba/Yoruba/Yorowba agree to be called whatever which doesn't erase the fact that Nation Yooroba/Yoruba/Yorowba remains pacesetter for the rest of Nigeria, including Ibo/Igbo/Heebo/Igbo/Eebo tribe. Or are you jealousy? You shouldn't be as my Nation Yooroba/Yoruba/Yorowba grandeur in all facets of life was not an accident of sorts. May be you haven't read about the Oyo Empire, Ife Kingdom and Benin Empire. I have read about every tribes in Nigeria, I mean every tribes and all great empires of old. Cultivate reading culture, I am not talking about reading novels, exams prep for your college(s) and its like alone. I am talking about real great books inclusive. Argument is good if it's on the fabric of knowledge acquisition and affirmation. I tried not to reference it as it is not an authority, but I will do in your case as the non-broad route to start knowledge acquisition. Kindly take a jot-and-titter from Wikipedia online and research about the name Ibo/Igbo/Heebo/Igbo/Eebo. Safe journey as you take the road to liberation, the worthy journey to read the minds and ideas of great men of old and the present generations, the great BOOK WORLD. Journey mercy.
