But the president said the project has been completed and you are saying that it will be commissioned in 3 weeks even when the contractors have not gone to site. Instead of looking at this particular issue from a political stand point, aren't you supposed to be concerned that someone somewhere is mismanaging our resources?

Kola is not fit to be a spokesman for main opposition party, he is too docile,
So this is the only fact check,

December 22, 2018, Press Statement

Budget Lies: Apologise to Nigerians, PDP Tells Buhari

The PDP Presidential Campaign Organization (PPCO) notes with consternation, the deliberate reliance on falsehood by President Muhammadu Buhari in his budget presentation at the National Assembly, Wednesday, and demands his immediate apologies to Nigerians.

Nigerians and the international community were shocked as
fact-checks reveal that a large part of the claims made by Mr. President, particularly on projects he claimed to have completed, were outright falsehood, apparently designed by the Buhari Presidency to mislead the nation and the world.

The fact-checks showed that most of the projects which Mr President claimed to have been completed do not have the littlest attention of his administration if they exist at all.

Of particular reference is President Buhari’s claim that he has completed the Ugwashi-Uku Dam in Delta state; a claim, which casts a long shadow on his assertions, as the project has been abandoned since 2015.

In fact, the Dam, which President Buhari barefacedly said that he has completed, is overgrown with weeds, while the road leading to the complex has collapsed.

The scenario is mostly the same in other capital projects, particularly those in remote parts of the country, which perhaps, our dear President thought Nigerians will not fact-check on.

This explained why federal lawmakers booed him during his budget presentation, a development that is unprecedented in our national history.

In his desperate plot to nudge up a trajectory of dismal perfomance, President Buhari resorted to falsification of achievements thereby violating his oath of office; the oath of allegiance to the people of Nigeria and corrupted our national performance indices.

This elevation of lies to a standard practice of governance is embarrassing and the PPCO completely condemns it.

All over the world, leaders of nations are expected to be truthful in their dealings, but this is no longer the case as it concerns our dear nation.

While we do not want to call Mr. President a liar, we urge him, in his words, to tell Nigerians what he will call a person who claims to have done what he did not do, particularly, given his perception by a minority few as Mr. Integrity.

The PPCO invites Nigerians to note that since fact-checks exposed the myriads of false claims in Mr. President’s budget speech, the Presidency has not offered any form of explanation. This goes to show that the claims were deliberate and intended to mislead.

Nigerians will recall that the PDP had always alerted that the Buhari Presidency has nothing to offer Nigerians except lying, falsehood, deception, beguilement, intimidation, harassment, hunger, starvation and disobedience of court orders.

The PPCO therefore charges President Buhari to apologize to Nigerians as well as get his handlers to turn a new leaf and save his reputation from further nose-diving within the few months he has in office as the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Signed:
Kola Ologbondiyan, Director, Media & Publicity

Politics / Fayose: "Nigerians Will Never Forget Buhari For Wrecking Nigeria With Nepotism by fahren(m): 3:43pm On Dec 21, 2018
For wrecking Nigeria with nepotism, cluelessness, Nigerians will never forget Buhari - Fayose

Immediate past Governor of Ekiti State, Mr. Ayodele Fayose has said Nigerians will never forget President Muhammadu Buhari for ruining the country economically and promoting nepotism to the level of state policy thereby dividing the country and threatening its unity.

Fayose, who is the Southwest Coordinator of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential Campaign Council, said “apart from the civil war era, the country has never been so insecure to the extent that our military men, including retired top officers are killed so recklessly. Thousands of Nigerians have been killed by herdsmen and the President has done nothing.”

According to a release on Friday by his Media Aide, Lere Olayinka, the former governor said; “At this time in 2014, a bag of rice was N7,000 but the same bag of rice is over N20, 000 now while other food items are also beyond the reach of ordinary Nigerians.”

He said Nigerians will never forget a President who met petrol at N86.50 per litre and increased it to N145 within one year and destroyed the economy of the country to the extent that dollar that exchanged for N197 to N1 is now over N360.

“Most importantly, Nigerians will forever remember President Buhari’s flagrant disobedient to rule of law, selective application of justice, use of state apparatus like the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Police and Department of State Services (DSS) to oppress his perceived political enemies and treatment of other arms of government, especially the judiciary with contempt.

“Particularly, the people of Benue, Plateau, Taraba, Adamawa, Ekiti and other States will remember the President for keeping silent when herdsmen were killing them, raping their wives and destroying their farmlands,” Fayose said.

The former governor assured that “In February 2019, God will deliver Nigerians from President Buhari and his afflictions on the country.

He said; “With unemployment increasing from 17.6 million in 2017 to 20.9 million in 2018, and the President himself admitting his own failure and promising more hardships next year, in other countries of the world, he would have resigned instead of seeking to continue to impoverish the country and its people with his directionless approach to governance.

However, whether he chooses to take the most honourable path of resigning or not, Nigerians will definitely remove him with their votes and set themselves free in February 2019.”

Politics / APC Has Impoverished Nigerians, Buhari Must Go - PDP New Media Group by fahren(m): 5:11pm On Dec 20, 2018
APC has impoverished Nigerians, Buhari must go - PDP New Media Group

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) National New Media Group (PDP-NNMG) said it would do everything possible within the stipulated laws to send President Muhammadu Buhari led All Progressives Congress (APC) government out of power next year, claiming that millions of Nigerians have become extremely poorer in the last three and half years.

Speaking at the inaugural conference and meeting of the PDP-NNMG at the party secretariat recently in Abuja its Convener, Lere Olayinka noted that Nigerians were fed up with a government of failed promises and yearning for a change come 2019.

“those who told us in 2015 that they will fight corruption have not only succeeded in stealing our collective wealth with impunity, they have impoverished Nigeria and its people. Today, one bag of rice that was N7,000 at this time of 2014 is N22,000, he said.

Olayinka also charged members of the group to work together assiduously, especially in ensuring prompt and coordinated information dissemination to ensure victory for the PDP in the 2019 general elections, particularly the presidential election,

He noted “It is important that we join hands to further restore the confidence of Nigerians that the PDP has reformed itself to meet up with current realities in the country and eliminate poverty inflicted on the people by the clueless APC government of Buhari.”

He explained that, the PDP-NNMG was a coming together of New Media aides of PDP governors, former governors as well as other notable social media influencers in the party

“The group was formed as an additional means of defending our party and its leaders as well as informing the public of activities of PDP-led State governments across the country”, he added

He disclosed that apart from New Media aides of governors and former governors, the group had in its fold Aides of all governorship candidates, disclosing that; structures of the group would be inaugurated in the six geopolitical zones and 36 States of the federation, including Abuja before the first week of January 2019.

Also speaking at the conference, which was attended by over 100 members from across the country, PDP National Publicity Secretary, Kola Ologbondiyan, who was represented by his Special Assistant, Richard Ihediwa described the initiative as brilliant and necessary, promising to assist the group to achieve its aims.

Olagbodinyan declared that all necessary machineries would be put in place to “get Nigeria working again,” noting that the social media will be used maximally to keep Nigerians before, during and after the elections.

Participants who spoke at the conference expressed their readiness to continue to deploy their personal resources into promoting the PDP and its Presidential Candidates, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and his running mate, Mr. Peter Obi as well as other candidates of the party across the country.

Apart from over 100 members of the group, others who attended the conference were National Publicity Secretary of the Alliance for New Nigeria (ANN) and Secretary of Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC) of Nigeria Committee on Media, Comrade Akinloye Oyeniyi, Barrister Tony Ehilebo, Dr. Malik Shabbazz, May Ubeku among others.

Politics / Those Booing Fayose Were Paid By Fayemi - Lere Olayinka by fahren(m): 1:50pm On Dec 15, 2018
Fayose's aide slams Fayemi over invasion of church with APC miscreants

Media Aide to Mr. Ayodele Fayose, the immediate past Governor of Ekiti State, Lere Olayinka has berated the State Governor, Dr. Kayode Fayemi and his party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) for invading the Cathedral Church, Ado Ekiti today, with miscreants ostensibly to attack the former Governor and his entourage.

Olayinka said it was funny that Fayemi's response to the overwhelming reception Fayose received yesterday in Ikere and Ado Ekiti when he returned to the State exactly two months after he left was to arrange miscreants to invade the house of God where the wedding ceremony of the daughter of Ewi of Ado Ekiti, Oba Rufus Adejugbe was being held.

In a release issued in Ado Ekiti on Saturday, Olayinka, who thanked Ekiti people for their continuous demonstration of love towards Fayose, added that; "Rather than sending less than 15 miscreants to the house of God to boo Fayose, Fayemi should either face the reality of his rejection by the people or engage in actions that will make the people to love him."

He said the miscreants attempted to carry out their assignment of booing Fayose and calling him unprintable names but their voice was overwhelmed as hundreds of people hailed the former governor as he entered the church.

"Even if the governor and his party of thugs do not regard the Ewi of Ado Ekiti, shouldn't they have at least accorded the dignitaries who came from far and near to honour the revered monarch respect by keeping their miscreants away from the church?

"And rather than achieving their sinister aim, Fayose entered the church amidst loud ovation and this should get Fayemi and his men to begin to ask themselves what they have done wrong instead of adding more salts to the injury of their rejection by the people," he said.

The former governor's spokesman also accused the State governor of sponsoring a faction of the Drivers' Unions to block the front of a motor-park along Ado - Ikere road to attack Fayose yesterday, not knowing that he had already entered Ado Ekiti.

He said "Ekiti people will continue to love Fayose because he served them well and most importantly, he never distanced himself from them, counseling Fayemi to submit himself to the authority of the people by acting as their servant instead of his present display of power arrogance."

METHODIST ARCHBISHOP STOPS AKPABIO FROM CAMPAIGNING FOR BUHARI, NSIMA EKERE IN CHURCH

Most Rev. Sunday B. Uko, Archbishop of the church, Ikot Ekpene on Sunday cautioned Senator Godswill Akpabio and wife, Unoma for making political comments at Methodist Church Nigeria, Ukana Ikot Ntuen in Essien Udim local government area of Akwa Ibom State.

The Akpabios who spoke during the presentation of Sir Etekamba Umoren as the new Lay President of Methodist Church Nigeria, Essien Udim Diocese, attempted to canvass support for the re-election of President Muhammadu Buhari and Nsima Ekere, All Progressives Congress, APC, governorship candidate during the forthcoming general elections.

However, Most Rev. Sunday B. Uko, Archbishop of the church, Ikot Ekpene rose from his seat and stopped them from further making the political comments in the church, saying “You cannot use the church as a platform for political campaign. Many members of this church belong to different political parties. You cannot campaign in the church.”

Uncomfortable by what he saw as disrespect to his wife, Senator Akpabio apologised for the wife’s action in talking politics in the church, recalling “Anyone knowing that his wife had reached the land of dead and came back would know why she wants to give direction to the people.”
