Ifeanyichukwu Ibezi, member - elect for Idemili North & South Federal Constituency, Anambra state has applauded students of St. John's Science and Technical College, Alor for their sterling performance at the International Festival of Engineering, Science and Technology (I-FEST) competition in Tunisia. The students who made Idemili proud, Meshach Ugwuishi, Anthony Chuka- Umeora, Daniel Nwachukwu and Dominic Machi, came third out of thirty-one countries that took part in the exercise. Their work titled, “Adaptable Alternative Power Supply for Sub-Saharan Africa”, involved two innovations – an inverter which traps energy from the sun and a single fully backed solar technology panel. Receiving the students at his country home in Abatete, Ibezi reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring that his Educational Support Policy as contained in his manifesto is implemented in his four years at the National Assembly. He said his representation shall support Innovative Ideas and research that would aid technological development in the country. Lauding the quality innovation of the students, Ibezi praised the students for their focus and undaunted hard work that gave them success at the competition in Tunisia. He urged them to remain focused and determined in their academic pursuit, as more laurels would be on the way for them. In keeping with the promises of his Educational Support Policy by rewarding Academic Excellence of Students from the Constituency, Ibezi awarded scholarships to the four students for their brilliant performance. The scholarship would cover their tuition through Tertiary Institution. Recognising the place of the school and teachers in grooming the students, Ibezi promised to visit the school immediately after his Inauguration to have an onsite inspection of the level of Infrastructural development in the school and to know how best his representation shall benefit the school. He also promised to support the school in similar innovative projects like the Adaptable Alternative Power project. In his remarks, the coordinator of the students, Rev. Fr. Francis Unegbu commended the legislator for his good heart and foresight. He continued that Ibezi was the first person to do something remarkable for the students after the competition. The students appreciated the lawmaker for his benevolence while promising to never disappoint, especially as they shall be enjoying his scholarship through tertiary institution. lalasticlala mynd44 dominique seun https://schoolcollege.ng/ifeanyichukwu-ibezi-awards-scholarships-4-students/

Modelsnaija exclusive interview with fast rising entrepreneur, top model and multiple award winning beauty queen Chika Francisca Nwachukwu who held the title Face of Nigeria and Face of Kimber Nigeria. The eloquent queen took us through her foray into the pageant system, worst and interesting moments as a model and quite fascinatingly how much she love Nigerian music act Ayo Balogun "Wizkid". Excerpt....... Why did you choose to pursue a career as a model? Answer— Right from my childhood days, I’ve always loved to be in front of the camera. I admired Agbani, Oluchi, Tyra Banks and the likes. I loved everything about the entertainment industry. And I’m such a person who believes in going after ones passion and making the best out of it despite any challenges or circumstances that might come up along the way. What is your greatest strength and weakness as a model? What are you doing to improve on it? Answer— My greatest strength as a model comes with the fact that asides the whole physical looks, I’m also a creative writer. I believe beauty with brains and purpose is a lethal combination and I’m not lacking in that. So far, I’m working on my first book and my brand. Being a model has given me more exposure into channeling my passion into an income. My greatest weakness has never been a thing of concern to me. I believe if you dwell more on weaknesses, you’ll never have a positive result in whatever you do. I only work towards being a better version of me and utilizing every opportunity that comes my way positively. Tell me about your experience(s) so far as a model. Answer— My experiences as a model has always been a mix up of both ups and downs which is basically part of growing and learning. Every experience has shaped me into what i am today. To be very honest, its been both good and bad and sometimes terrible but it all depends on how one sees it and lets it affect her set goals. Despite all the odds, i was focused on making an impact and being successful at the same time. What are your goals, for the future, as a model? Answer— My goals for the future as a model, has a little twist outside the modeling industry. I’m passionate about charity works. I intend to start up my own NGO using my platform as Face Of Nigeria Queen. My NGO will focus more on the youths who are the future leaders of our great country. Especially the below average and idle ones, this will give them more opportunity to enroll for self empowerment scheme to gain skills and be self made to stand on their own, thereby taking them off the streets. I also intend to build my brand to a good standard for good profit making avenues. I’m not totally going to ignore the modeling industry because i still have a brand i presently work with that handles and covers almost every aspect of the entertainment industry and pageantry inclusive that’s Royal Heritage Entertainment Agency. What are your worst and best moments as model? Answer— My worst moments, I think the late night shoots and the stress that comes with it. That was during my vixen days. We could spend more than 24 hours on set, trust me, it’s usually not easy. And the times one would have to wait for hours for the artist to show up. But hey its still fun though. My best moments, seeing the results of all the set time and all. Seeing myself on TV. The beautiful photoshoot sessions, working with amazing directors and learning more about the entertainment industry all summed up to make my best moments worth it. What's your say about models having nude/half naked photo shoots? How would you react if asked to do a shoot you were not comfortable with? What are your limitations? Tell me about your most difficult photo shoot. Answer— The Modelling industry is very vast. And different strokes for different people. I’m not against anyone being creative and adventurous in the modeling industry. If you’re comfortable doing that and you’re professional about it, that’s your choice and decision, no1 can stop you as long as you’re comfortable with it. We all have principles and as we grow our priorities change likewise our preferences, if asked to do a photoshoot I’m not comfortable with, I’ll simply say no and if the concept cannot be amended, I won’t give it a second thought. Why would I want to put myself in a compromising situation that will leave me with doubts later. I personally can’t do nude/half naked shoots henceforth. My most difficult photoshoot, I’m not sure I’ve had any difficult photoshoot. None I can point out. Being a reliable model is of utmost importance. How would you describe your work ethic? Answer— My work ethics is basically being professional and putting in my best to be outstanding. Its not all about having a pretty face and good body as a model. Good communication skills, being creative and intelligent should also be taken into consideration. The entertainment industry runs in a circle shape, everything and everyone is somehow connected. If you must be reliable be sure to be creatively reliable. One can’t model forever because of that explore other opportunities in the industry and build yourself to be relevant in various segments in the industry. I believe in considering the future in whatever one is doing. What you’re doing now, will it be relevant in 5 years to come without ruling out the fact that, technology is still evolving. Tell me something I wouldn't know about you, from looking at your portfolio. Any relationship? Are you single, engaged or still searching? Answer— I’m very reserved and not much of a talker. I love trying out new recipes and I’m very principled. Hmmmmmm, am I single, engaged or still searching, well, I’m not engaged. I’m in a relationship with Success, lol. Anyways the heart knows what it wants and goes for it. I would rather not discuss my relationship. What's your best music genre? Wizkid or Davido who's your favorite? Answer— i love dancehall. Anyday, anytime . Between Wizkid and Davido, honestly i love them both, but i think i have deep love for Wizkid, his vibes and all of that. Besides, chioma wont allow any woman take Davido away from her. (smiles) 10. Tell me about any of your accomplishments or projects you consider to be the most significant in your career Answer— My accomplishments. Presently I’m a Queen with two crowns. -Face Of Kimber Africa and Face Of Nigeria 2018/19. These two platforms are the two significant aspects of my career. Along with it, I’m a brand ambassador for Royal Heritage Entertainment Agency, an entertainment company that handles almost every aspect of entertainment. Also the brand ambassador for ibeautifi, a beauty company that produces makeups and the likes. My current projects, I’m working on starting up my own foundation, The Queen Chichi Foundation for youths and widows. I intend to set up a skills acquisition seminar for enlightenment, training and building them up. I also run my own company, House Of CAFON limited which specializes in catering services, ushering services, delivery services, and household services. Alongside being a brand ambassador for Royal Heritage Entertainment Agency, I’m also the Human Resources Manager. Working to change the perception of the entertainment industry and red carpet hosting. http://modelsnaija.com/i-have-deep-love-for-wizkid-_queen-chika-nwachukwu/

Worried by the increasing cases of breast cancer among Nigerian women, ex MBGN queen, Miss Emmanuella Yaboh through her Ngo, The Girl Power Foundation has organized cancer screening exercise to create awareness on breast cancer; its causes, symptoms and effects and to provide free screening for young secondary school girls. The exercise kicked off recently in Ejigbo Senior Secondary School, Ifelodun ln, Ejigbo Lagos. Emmanuella, alongside her team and medical professionals visited the school to carry out the charity project. Dr. Okeke, who was a member of the medical team, while addressing the students advised them to regularly check for breast lumps, discharges, inverted nipples and other changes in the breasts, regretting that many youths had died of breast cancer due to neglect and of course lack of knowledge. Miss Emmanuella Yaboh expressed her delightedness at the massive turnout of students for the exercise, adding that after launching the foundation, she came up with the idea of organizing a breast cancer program to help youths and older women with the syndrome have a better knowledge and also receive treatment before the lumps develop to a dangerous level. The exercise was followed up with fun and games where winners got cash prizes. Also, the screening exercise where a number of girls were found with lumps and other mammary irregularities. Their parents were contacted and surgeries were scheduled for them at discounted amounts. The vice principal of the school, Mrs Owoseni in her note of thanks commended the foundation leader Emmanuella Yaboh and her team for the humanitarian visit. http://modelsnaija.com/ex-mbgn-queen-ueen-emmanuella-yaboh-organizes-breast-cancer-awareness-program-in-lagos/

CLASSIFIED REPORT LEAKED:Apc leads major geopolitical zone as Saraki Lies uncovered As the race for the presidential election hit up. Many reports of one party who has a better chance of winning in one particular zone across top geopolitical area in Nigeria have been making rounds online. However, recent reports from Ballard partners, an international company hired by PDP to evaluate and determine pdp chance of winning by asking indigenes in certain areas in the country random question about their view on the current government and the candidate they will most likely vote for in the forthcoming general election shows that the incumbent president has a far better chance of retaining his position as the national Head. The interview which was carried out in the field between January 3, 2018 and February 2, 2019 shows that Buhari is leading the vote with 9 points (51% / 42%). Undecideds are at 4% and all other will score a total of 3%. This leave Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate for pdp and his team with more than enough work to do. Below is the overall report sent to Bukola Saraki, the People's Democratic party chief host and the senate president of Nigeria. 1.Buhari is leading the vote with 9 points (51% / 42%). Undecideds are at 4% and all other will score a total of 3%. So, Buhari cannot be stopped. 2.Voters generally approve of how Buhari has been handling his job and have positive view towards him. 3.Voters generally do not like Atiku because of the corruption issues around him. Poor for Buhari, middle class for Atiku – but poor are the majority. 4.Many people are disappointed with the choice they have: 19% of PVC holders said they don’t see the reason to vote. 5.No other candidate is going to get up to 2%. 6.About 87% of APC supporters endorse Buhari, but only 71% of PDP supporters endorse Atiku. 7.South-South and South-East which were supposed to be the Atiku’s regional strongholds, are not as much negative towards Buhari as where expected. Methodology. 1.Interviews were carried out in the field between January 3, 2018 and February 2, 2019. Data collection method: face-to-face interviews. 2. Sample size: 12 654 interviews with an average of 342 in each state and FCT. 3.The overall margin of error is ±0.87% at 95% confidence level (±1.1% at 99% confidence level). 4. Sample stratification: 3-level geographical stratification according to the official INEC data of voters distribution with random selection of households and respondents. 5. In each state not less than 250 respondents were interviewed, afterwards the data were weighted according to the voters distribution. 6.Dropout of the respondents: only those who have voters card were interviewed. 7.Interviews: native to the state in which they were working or neighboring state with the same dominant language; each one had two training sessions and test task. 8.Figures may not sum to 100% due to rounding up. http://modelsnaija.com/apc-leads-major-geopolitical-zone-as-saraki-lies-uncovere/
