Queen Isabella Okafor Initiative in partnership with Gozie Abana foundation has donated an Electrical Suctioning Machine to the Emergency Paediatric Unit (E.P.U) of the Federal Medical Centre, Owerri Imo State in commemoration of the Valentine’s Day celebration on the 18th of February, 2022. The two non-governmental organizations have been at the forefront of the campaign for alleviating poverty and providing basic needs for vulnerable Children, Aged Citizens, widows, orphans and disadvantaged in Nigeria. The recent outreach at the Medical Centre in Owerri was instigated to provide one of the major instruments needed in the children's health care unit. The Philanthropist cum Beauty Queen, Isabella Okafor who had just concluded with the door-to-door Christmas Outreach, an initiative that caters for the Aged citizens and widows in representation of Gozie Abana Foundation while presenting the Machine, expressed how happy they were to make an impact in the medical centre, citing that this is about the 4th time she’s visiting the Centre but this time feels special. "I feel overly excited carrying out this project here. It’s a season of love and I thought it’s wise to share love to the sick children and bring succor to them", the Ada Imo state pageant winner, said "The machine was provided to aid the nurses working in the children's health care unit. We will check back to ensure progress and provide other assistance, as God permits.", she added. Nollywood actor and filmmaker Don Charles Mmaduka, popularly known as Pitakwa, has revealed his choice of woman, stressing that he cannot survive this world without dating women with big boobs. The actor, who joined the film industry about seven years ago and has become very popular following his appearance on several home screens, opened up on his preference for women with big breasts and how he would like to marry one. Known to have kept his relationship status from the prying eyes of the public, the actor told DAILY POST he would like to get married to an ambitious woman he could build a family with. The former Minister of Aviation in the First Republic, Chief Amaechi Mbazulike Conferred his honorary title ‘The Boy is Good’ on young leader; Divine Onyekachi Ngobidi whom he described as his reflection from Okija, a town in Ihiala LGA, Anambra State. Divine Onyekachi made his first major stride into circular politics in 2019, as the PDP candidate for Anambra State House of Assembly to represent Ihiala II Constituency. Divine, who was hosted by the elder statesman in his country home in Ukpor, Nnewi south LGA, Anambra State, noted that he was inspired by the impact and exemplary life of the former minister whom he also considered as his role model. US-based Nigerian music executive, Akeju Abass has reacted to recent rift between Nigerian music superstar, Burna Boy and Ghanaian star, Shatta Wale. The Ghanaian music artiste have during a live concert in Ghana accused their Nigerian counterparts of not loving and supporting them. Popular singer, Wizkid had also weighed into the comparison between Nigerian artistes and Ghanaian artiste, saying that both sides are just the same. Shatta Wale at his concert at the Ghana’s biggest stadium, said he was told he could not fill up the stadium for his concert, furthee boasting that he does not need Nigerian artistes. The statement has stirred lots of controversy and reactions from Nigerians including some stars like Burna Boy, Olamide and many others. And as this goes on majorly between Burna Boy and Shatta Wale with threats, counter threats and challenges, Akeju, who recently launched Faces of Afrobeats, a campaign to celebrate African artists urged stars from both countries to look at the positive side of building peace and a united Africa. Nollywood actress turned producer, Angel Samuda has said that she saw a lot in Nollywood, adding that the industry is not just what she thought it was. The actress, who did not provide elaborate explanation to her experience in Nollywood, stated this while talking about her early life and struggles into the Nigerian movie industry. The producer, also told the story of how her father impacted her life and how the experience of being under his mentorship changed her life, generally. "Grew up with my dad. Liberal, funny, loving yet extremely strict, typical no-nonsense man", The Akwa-ibom born actress told Hustle Magazine. "My childhood was never fun, though I cherished the parenting my parents gave me because it molded me morally and intellectually to who I am today. The thespian, on the struggle to navigate the movie industry, said: "My first Movie was a friend's job. During the production I learnt and saw a lot, that the industry is not just what i thought it was. "The next job I featured in was mine and there I decided to be a producer and an actor". American-based Nigerian Multimedia executive, Abass K.M Akeju launches inside Nollywood, a documentary that takes an intimate look at notable Nigerian actors. The documentary discusses their personal experiences, foray into the movie industry and opinions on certain general topics. Speaking on the new initiative, Akeju noted that the goal of the platform is to give fans worldwide the opportunity to connect with their favourite actors. "Nollywood is gaining recognition around the world. It's the second biggest movie industry after Hollywood. We thought of a platform where fans can have access to their favourite actors and get to know them better," he said. "Inside Nollywood is first of its kind and we are planning on connecting other African actors and maybe feature Hollywood stars at some point. Currently, we have some A-list actors like Frederick Leonard, Halima Abubakar, Esther Audu, Belinda Effah amongst others". Queen Toluwalope Olarewaju, a 23year old model and graduate of Marketing from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) has been announced by The Beauty of Africa International Pageant, Baip, as Nigeria's representative at the scheduled Miss Tourism International World Finals 2021.
