The general overseer of the New generation Bible Church International, Arch-bishop Godwin Imuetiyan Elomobor, has died aged 66.

In a statement signed by the senior pastor of the Church, it was confirmed that he died on 8th January 2022 after a prolonged illness.

The statement read, "It is with gratitude to God and with heavy hearts that we announce the glorious transition of our beloved father in the Lord, Arch-bishop Godwin Imuetiyan Elomobor, the General Overseer of the New Generation Bible Church Int.

"He was aged 66 and passed on to glory on Saturday, 8th of January, 2022(about 5pm Nigerian time) 10am in Tulsa, USA after a protracted illness".

"As we mourn the departure of our dear father, we covet your prayers for the Elomobor family and the New Generation Bible Church, worldwide.
Goodnight God's general, Arch-bishop Godwin Imuetiyan Elomobor".

His burial arrangement has been scheduled to hold starting from January Friday, 21st with main funeral taking place on Saturday 22nd, 2021 at Flora service home, Oklahoma, USA.

The bishop is survived by his loving wife, Rev(Mrs) Anthonia Oyebola Elomobor and his children.

Esther Gabriel, Nigeria's representative who emerged 1st runner-up at the recent Miss Globe pageant grand finale held in Albania receives heroine welcome at the Portharcourt International Airport, Rivers state.

The fashion model and environmentalist who is currently in her final year at the University of Portharcourt made history, beating over 50 delegates from several countries around the world to place second just behind Philippine's Maureen Montagne who was crowned Miss Globe 2021.

In a background review on her career, it is on record that Esther Gabriel had earlier won Miss Tourism Africa in 2019, before she contested and emerged as one of the top queens at Beauty of Africa International pageant 2021. She currently own a beauty brand, Kanma skincare and run an NGO, Ogechikanma foundation, a platform she has used to touch and impacted many lives in her community.

Also as an advocate, Esther has taken extraordinary actions over the past few years to organise several educational campaigns for youths with more focus on girl-child education following the potential inherent in them for national development.

During an interview session at the airport, the Abia-state born beauty queen expressed her excitement making the country proud while challenging young models and girls to stay focused in their respective careers.

"I feel really overwhelmed to become the first Nigerian to ever place in the Miss Globe pageant competition. Its an honour that will stay with me for years," she said.

"This is to every young model and girl child out there who aspire to reach the zenith of their career: 'Never give up and keep pushing'.

Quizzed on her next move, she said:" I have to meet and thank everyone who supported me in the journey; my lovely family, Baip organisation, friends and my institution(Uniport).

I also look forward to possible deals and partnership with interested brands. Lastly, continue my charity outreach which has been a stronghold and my most cherished contribution to humanity".

Queen Esther Gabriel, Nigeria's representative at The Miss Globe World Finals 2021 has made history, beating 58 delegates from several Countries around the world to place 2nd position at the annual international pageant held on 5th November in Albania.

Esther was crowned 1st runner-up at the 14th edition of the Beauty of Africa International pageant (BAIP 2021) Nigeria Finals, which qualified her to represent Nigeria at the Miss Globe 2021 World Finals.

With the International crown, she became just the first Nigerian and delegate from west Africa to ever place in The Miss Globe pageant competition.

As The Miss Globe Africa 2021, Esther will embark on several humanitarian services, and continue impacting lives through her initiative and platform.

Oyindoubra Wilson, a model and graduate of English and Literature has emerged the winner, Face of Nigeria Pageant 2021.

In a keenly contested competition held over the weekend at the Enugu base landmark Hotel, she beat 32 others to clinch the coveted crown.

Oyindoubra is a trained aviator, certified by the Lagos state aviation academy. She is also an NCAA Licence certified personnel (Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority ) as a cabin crew.

Ozoya Salami, the director of the Pageant, said that the show, which is the 8th edition, was designed to promote the Urban fashion and TRADITIONAL values of the country and to build women with the right mindset to influence their society.

The freshly minted Face of Nigeria, who represented Bayelsa State at the competition, revealed her goal and plans for the future.

"My goal is to be grateful for the gift of life, everyday as it comes,using every opportunity and platform I have and given for the service of humanity, particularly as it regards to Children. Be a source of hope, affecting positively as many lives as possible and living an independent, comfortable and Simple life thereafter", she said.

Prime music partners, a media publishing and distribution agency has teamed up with Nigerian music star Chinedu Okoli better known by his stage name Flavour for an African live music concert in United States. The star-studded event, according to the organisers, will be held at Sound of Brazil, 204 Varick street, New York City on November, 3rd, 2021.

The event, as revealed by the organiser was borne out of a strong desire to celebrate the best of African music on global stage while also creating a memorable end to a rather tough year.

Other African stars to feature in the show are Ghanaian Prince Bright, Isaac Katalay from Congo and Sierra Leone budding star, Ajay Coker.

Also expected to be in attendance include, American record producer and Multi-Grammy award winner Commissioner Gordon Williams, some top music executives and several UN officials.

Supported by faces of Afrobeats, Aflik Tv, Insidediaspora, SOB, Grandbelle international inc, Financial freedom academy,Grounded promotions and other media outlets, the event will be very exclusive with limited seating in line with COVID-19 restrictions. Production campaign will be headlined across Times Square and New Jersey Billboard respectively.

Fans and interested parties unable to secure tickets to the physical concert will still be able to watch the post event coverages on major streaming platforms.

On what the fans should expect, Dr Amanda Ota, a director at Prime Music Partners, said : "We are pretty excited to partner with Sobs to deliver this amazing music show In New York. The year has been a turbulent one so it's only fair we arrange something to ease up the stress for the season.

"Flavour is an African legend and his influence has been felt on the music scene across the world. I believe the fans will be excited as much as everyone who have been part of this project".
