The Catholic faith is the foundation of Christianity. To many it is a source of inspiration in the worship of God and building of the Christian faith. Those that disagree with our faith do so out of sheer ignorance but we cannot be dettered because we know the hope we long so much and the salvation that awaits us. So fellow Catholics stand up and be counted. To us Mary deserves to be honoured. If we can honour, respect and eulogise our earthly pastors, what more can one say about a woman who not only felt the prescence of our saviour but actauly bore Him in her womb, fed Him and infact did every good thing to Him. The importance of getting things done through her is replicated in the wedding at canaan, when Christ listened to the plea of her mother. If Christ did that in Canaan through Her, He could still do it to day through her because HE IS THE SAME TODAY, TOMORROW AND FOREVER. Mary must certainly be honoured.

Unprecedented events has always found their footing in Anambra state. The shame and drama playing out in that state has assumed a different dimension. First the Governor was "impeached" in controversial circumstances and at nucturnal hours by a group of thugs who parade themselves as legislators without giving the governor the right of audience and representation that even common criminals are enttitled to. To worsen matters the so-called report of the committe was "submitted" even before it concluded its sittings and to perfect their scripts the committee shamelessly asserts that it is still investigating the deputy governor for un-disclosed sins, with a view to impeaching her and impossing their stoog. No doubt Anambra state has become a theatre of absurdities, a reflection of the true state of affairs in the big picture, nigeria.

The drama at trascorp is just unfolding. It is not out of place to say that the company was incorporated to buy the major juicy parastatals. What is absord however is how one could be a judge in his own course. Obj is the principal regulator under veils and is also a major shareholder in transcorp. The possibility of bias cannot be ruled out. Forget that the shares are being held for him in blind trust. There is no gain saying that the said trust is too active to be blind. It is about time these people stopped deceiving the populace. They must be called to order. Okereke onyiuke is the chairman of Trascorp and is major regulator in the stock market where Transcorp will soon be listed. The whole games is smarks of absurdities. To say the least our country is a mere theatre of absudities. Nigeria should act fast to salvage their country.

come to think of it the world is for whoever dares to take it. i believe genevieve can be the best she desires and having survived the difficult terrain her the sky will be her starting point if she dares. To me hollywood is the least of hurdles she can survive.

PROUDLY NIGERIA

Close of work on friday, i decided to chill out at a joint close to my creeb in Abuja. coincidentally two fellows of Ghanian nationality where at the table. So proud of their culture and the achievments they have recorded in the past years, efficient tax system, uninterrupted power supply for years and efficiency in the public sector. Was i taken aback by their enumerations. Things seems not to be working so well in Nigeria. But no I stood my ground and tried to distinguish between the two countries in terms of population and military incursions. Even at that i knew i was just making excuses, things are not just working in this country but i am still "proudly" nigerian.  Fantastico
