Yes. Mr President is doing his best possible with what is available. You are one of those PDP apologist. So your comments will always be biased. Maybe you should leave the country and relocate to Ghana where the headquaters of tweeter is based. They may give you some part of the #2 billion to help you see front. hehehehe!

May your life be treated the same way Buhari has treated Nigeria.

As for me, I'm on my way out, enjoy the collapse, many of you don't even have passport.

Why are you talking too much, trying to prove you know what you're talking about?

Shove your trash up your posterior.

......All these mumus that develop a hard on when it's time to insult their country, meanwhile they're useless to the country.

When we have fools like you defending self destructive policies why won't we talk?

You same fools will vote another tyrant and continue crying about the state of the nation, instead of you to learn and get sense.

No wonder twitter shunned Nigeria for Ghana.

Unpatriotic slaves who want the country to suffer so they can continue riding Buhari's cock.

yeah! It is when the war starts that foreign investors will come. At this time, it is the togetherness, security and wellbeing of the country that matters not tweeter or outsiders.

Ask yourself, is Buhari handling the security well?

Boko Haram is still killing, herdsmen are being pampered, and protesters are being shot.

Instead of the President to take criticism and rectify the issues he's banning everything. The same twitter he banned he was crying about them shunning Nigeria for Ghana when everyone knew this present situation would happen.

What F.ucking unity security and wellbeing are you talking about?

The one in your dreams.

Ode, so how were they promoting their goods and services before Twitter??

I've been on Twitter since when you were shitting in pampers so shut up cuz you obviously just following the trend that everyone is raving.

It's clear you are a foolish child looking for attention.
When you take away a large audience for people to sell their wares, their sales and the overall economy will suffer but you couldn't learn this basic economic rule from your mango tree almajiri school.

Next time tell your useless government to stop begging for ventilators on twitter.

The report is completely baseless and shows why Nigerians hardly comprehend simple write-ups. If anything, it goes deeper into the president's response to anarchy than how exactly the ban constricts daily revenue. I was left speechless on seeing the title, wondering how the service creates so much when it's not petroleum-based. I'm left with assurance that the ban changes nothing. Twitter is not an oil company and means nothing to the average Nigerian.

When your government was begging for ventilators on twitter it meant something abi?

You are actually not smart. Twitter is what it is today because of public interactions and opinions. If these move away from Twitter, Dorsey would be nothing but a rich nobody.

He played himself when Twitter started becoming opinionated. Other governments would join Nigeria. States in the USA are already crafting rules against big media.

Twitter is toast. Dorsey is basically an arsehole who thinks he's untouchable.

If Buhari used the official nairaland handle to post gay pornography to the religion section, is nairaland justified in removing it.

What ''consequences''?

Nigeria is Africa's biggest economy, and is projected to be the world's 3rd largest population and consumer market by 2050.

She will be a MAGNET of international investment in the coming years.

Twitter needs Nigeria far more than Nigeria needs Twitter.

Are you fucking stupid?

This was reported just last week!

https://nairametrics.com/2021/05/25/foreign-portfolio-investments-in-nigeria-drops-by-77-4-in-q1-2021/

Right now we are at the mercy of terrorists, secessionists, kidnappers and bad state actors. Less and less people wants to invest in the country because they don't want to deal with Buhari's madness among other threats to their business like poor infrastructure and insecurity and you're still talking like it's 1982 and oil is booming.

Twitter didn't move their African headquarters to Nigeria and they government was whining about it for weeks.

We've been through THREE recessions in this administration and you're talking like this.

Are you actually daft?

Seems you don't understand that the ban applies to all social media and you have given the next president the precedent to go after you and your kind for disagreeing, that's if this country even exists by the next election.

Are Nigerians present on the Board of twitter? How many?
I would say the same thing for Jonathan, Obasanjo or Abacha

Twitter should not censor the president of Nigeria and if it chooses to do so it should be kicked out of Nigeria. That s the African way

May you continue to be treated the African way for the rest of your life.

Your problem is that you are seeing it as a personal beef between Buhari and Twitter. Buhari is acting in his capacity as President, by saying that you cannot operate in our space if you allow secessionists and anarchists to post destabilizing messages on your platform, while disallowing Nigerian authorities from making posts threatening repercussions for breakdown of law and order.

If the country descends into warfare, will Twitter executives come and fight the war? No. They will be enjoying on yachts in the Caribbean.

So Buhari is only protecting his country from descent into anarchy and disintegration.

That's his job.

When he releases terrorists, allows Shiek Gumi to roam around giving inspirational bandit speeches and ruined the economy through his idiotic policies and blatant tribalism why won't there be breakdown of law and order?

Why are you blaming twitter for the overall dissatisfaction of the population?

When people break the rules, report and they will be deleted, stop being silly and think about the consequences of this action

It is important to distil issues to principles so that we are consistent whether now, in 2 years or 20 years

First Nigeria is not the first country to restrict twitter. It is officially banned in China

Twitter is an emerging technology and existing legislation is playing catch up
There is a cultural dimension to freedom of expression
We cannot do everything the OYIBO way

I am no supporter of Buhari but the office he occupies is important

I cannot accept a FOREIGN business entity telling the president of my country to shut up under any guise

Still there are many issues to debate and we should debate them without becoming enemies
That is democracy

We must learn how to compartmentalize our emotions and sentiments

The president is not forced to use twitter, imagine if the president went on nairaland to post gay pornography in the religion section, which is against the rules, would you be supporting that?

Buhari and his clowns are the ones bringing emotion into everything with their constant lies and poor performance and I have had it with this bleeped up administration and country full of dull, braindead Buhari supporters.
Rubbish.
