Nice one. The Engines are Perkins. meanwhile, only two engines on tug boat? why just two? smaller security vessels I've worked with has four/minimum three engines though not Perkins but cat and Cummins.

Security vessels are designed for speed and high maneuvering, hence the extra engine for speed..


Tug boats are designed for towing and pushing, hence more rugged engines like CAT, ABC, Wartsila engines for powerful torque to achieve the designed purpose.

This look like Damen built ASD Tug boats except for their trademark CAT engines....
