PoliticsRe: Chatham House: Stage Managed Show Of Shame By Buhari, APC – Fani Kayode by FastShipping: 7:44pm On Feb 26, 2015

By Henry Umoru
ABUJA – PEOPLES Democratic Party, PDP Presidential Campaign Organisation has described the appearance of the Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, General Muhammadu Buhari, rtd at Chatham House, London as a stage managed show of shame.
In a statement by the Director, Media and Publicity of PDP Presidential Campaign Organisation, Chief Femi Fani- Kayode, the PDP said that it was quite ironical and absurd that Buhari could go to a foreign land for a debate while he vehemently refused to be part of the debate organised in Nigeria, a country he wants to govern.
Fani-Kayode who requested to know if the APC Presidential candidate remembered to tell the organisers of his alleged romance with members of the Boko Haram said, “It is amazing that a man that refuses to participate in a debate in his own country is so ready to go to a foreign country to sell his message in a desperate attempt to curry favor with the people of that country.
“We wonder whether General Buhari told his foreign audience whilst he was in London how much he loves Boko Haram. We wonder whether he told them that he once said that he believes that ”an attack on Boko Haram is an attack on the north” and that the Boko Haram terrorists should be appeased, pampered, resettled and paid allowances.
“We wonder if he told them that he was once nominated by Boko Haram to be their spokesman and representative during proposed negotiations with the Federal Government.
“We wonder if he told them that he was the one that ordered and organised the violent injecting, crating and disgraceful kidnapping of a former Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria by the name of Alhaji Umaru Dikko from the streets of London 31 years ago when he was in power.
“We shall state our views about General Buhari’s stage-managed show of shame at Chatham House at a later date; and, at that time, we shall go into far more detail.
“For now, all we can say is that it is truly pitiful that a former Head of State of the Federal Republic of Nigeria believes that it is more important to win the hearts and minds of the British than it is to win the hearts and minds of the Nigerian people.
General Buhari can run to any foreign country in the world to say anything that he likes but at the end of the day the decision as to who will lead Nigeria as from May 29th this year will be determined by no one else but the Nigerian people. The game is on here and not in London.”

This attempt will fail by God's Grace.
Jonathan will definitely fail if they force Jega out without finishing the work he started. The whole world is watching. There are people who have prepared to battle this despot of a president pretending to be and humble man. Jonathan knows he has no chance in a free and fair election.

PoliticsRe: The Real Reason Buhari Traveled To London Revealed : The Arab Billionaires by FastShipping: 7:00am On Feb 26, 2015
[s]
erasokafor:
The recent hoopla surrounding the sudden travel to London by the All Progressive Congress [APC] presidential candidate, General Mohammadu Buhari may have generated undue interest into the private travel pattern of the APC presidential candidate – and the unexplained deception with which the handlers of the APC candidate have employed to mask the London has added to the hoopla surrounding the trip. Information available from 247ureports.com obtained from a competent source indicates that the APC presidential candidate may have gone to London for more clandestine reasons. The source reveals Buhari’s London trip was to meet with Arab billionaires to raise badly needed money for the presidential campaign – and to attend to a prescheduled medical checkup with his doctor in London.
It is recalled General Mohammadu Buhari departed Nigeria on February 19, 2015 through the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja but was reported by his presidential media team to have departed for London on a working visit – adding that Buhari will address the Chattam House on Thursday February 26, 2015 – and that he will also visit with the Nigerian communities in London. But the team held onto the real reasons the Buhari campaign team went to London. Our source reveals the Chattam House engagement was not the main reason for the trip, “it was a mere decoy” to help divert attention away from the main reasons for the said trip. According to the source, “why would Buhari visit London for Chattam House speech one week before?” The source acknowledged that the APC presidential candidate is afflicted with a “terminal illness that is not immediately terminal” – that his life is not immediately threatened.

Another source from the Amaechi camp revealed to 247ureports.com that the dwindled campaign financial resources of the APC presidential campaign was the principal reason for the sudden London trip. The source pointed to the unexpected shift in the election date by the Independent National Electoral Commission [INEC] as crippling to the financial standing of the team. “The team did not expect to have the election date shifted by six weeks – and so did not make budgetary provisions for that” said the source who proceeded to add that the money situation within the APC is dire. The normal contributors to the campaign who had contributed generously are not as eager to contribute as they had done previously. The governors within the APC are said to have turned their attentions away from the presidential trains to their respective campaigns within their states. Governor Amaechi who was reportedly the highest contributor to the Buhari campaign to the tune of N17billion has turned away from the presidential campaign train to focus attention to the dogged campaign being waged by the Peoples Democratic Party [PDP] gubernatorial candidate in the person of Nyesom Wike and his team which includes the 1st Lady of the country, Patience Jonathan. Governor Kwankwaso, the governor of Kano State has also turned away from the presidential train of the APC for personal reasons and for reasons concerning his senatorial race in Kano State. He is currently embroiled in a political battle against the heart of the APC in Kano which is still populated by sympathizers of Honorable Minister of Education and former governor of Kano State, Malam Ibrahim Shekarau. The governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha according to sources has expressed to the APC presidential campaign team that he “has done his part” – and is now focused on his reelection campaign – against a potent PDP candidate, Honorable Emeka Ihedioha. The former vice president of Nigerian and the APC presidential aspirant, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar has also not show eagerness to add to the N900million purportedly donated by him to the APC presidential campaign train. A source in Atiku’s Sheraton towers office revealed to 247ureports.com that Atiku believes the elections will not hold in March 28, 2015 – and so no need to “continue wasting money”.

While in London, an authoritative source revealed the APC presidential candidate proceeded to hold closed door meetings at a high scale restaurant at Shard Skyscraper [31st floor] with selected Arab billionaires. Among the list of billionaires were those reported to have previously financed presidential candidates in sub-Saharan African countries. According to the source, some of the Arab billionaires included known associates of terror financiers in Africa.

Among the list of billionaires present at the meeting include – Nadhmi Auchi a real estate mogul from Iraq resident of United Kingdom;  – Mohammed Ibrahim founder of Celtel from Sudan resident in United Kingdom. He is a known ‘investor in Africa’ under his Mo Ibrahim Foundation; – Wharton Ayman, an oil mogul from Syria resident in United Kingdom; Abdirashid Duale, Islamic banking mogul from Somalia; Othman Benjelloun, an international banker from Morocco; Saad Hariri, the deposed prime minister of Lebanon. Also among the participants were representatives of two suspected terror financiers – in the persons of Khalifa Mudammad Turki al-Subaiy [former officers at Qatar Central Bank] and Rahman bin Umayr al-Nuaymi [former president of Qatar football association]. Both have been alleged to contribute significant financial resources to the jihadist struggle in Syria and Iraq.

It is uncertain the fruitfulness of the outcome of the meeting. But it is certain that the group of Arab billionaires had given unfettered attention to the APC presidential candidate. The APC presidential candidate – in his talks with the billionaires impressed on them of possible prosecution faced by Muslims in Nigeria largely due to President’s religious divisive tactics in governing the country.

According to sources privy of the high profile meeting, General Buhari had to explain to the Arab billionaires how the initial monies donated to the campaign were expended. 247ureports.com was reliably informed that the group of Arab billionaires had initially donated an amount a little over N26billion prior to the unexpected postponement of the presidential Election Day. The billionaires expressed unhappiness with the unsavory nature the election was rescheduled because the Election Day shift – in affect – locked their monetary investments to an uncertain fate.  They insisted on concrete assurances the election will indeed be conducted on March 28, 2015. Credible but unconfirmed information indicate that the majority of the billionaires hedged their continued financial support on the assurance of the March 28, 2015 elections. The outcome of the meeting was however unknown.

as regard to those pictures below, there are more fine aggregate ( sand) than coarse aggregate ( gravel) because of the intended uses.

As can be seen, the concrete used as floor screeding.
method of concrete production also play an important role in the strength and appearance of concrete. In developed society, concretes are mostly produced in a batching plant where all the parameters like mix ratio, water to cement ratio, finest of aggregate, conditions of aggregate, quality of water are controlled. In Nigeria, concrete are manually mixed using hand or a concrete mixer, the result been that quality and quantity of cement constituents are not well cintrolled.

size of gravel also affect the appearance of concrete
ratio of cement

things like clay in sand or gravel,
dirty water
very high water in concrete, result to considerable lost of strength.

workmanship is another factor, skilled concreters are lacking in Nigeria and the formwork here are not as good as what is obtainable in the west
I have witnessed it here that they use more sharp-sand and cement more than we do in Nigeria. The ratio of sharp sand or stone dust to granite is like 2:1. The amount of cement they use here is unprecedented. That enables it to look well done when finished. In Nigeria, we tend to use a lot of granite.

we actually make our concrete too wet in Nigeria because of our method of placing concrete, which is done manuAlly most times.
water to cement ratio of 0.55 is ideal nut due to workability of concrete we tends to put more water....from research, the more the quantity of water the weaker the concrete and that is why you need a vibrator to help the concrete work very well
Very true to some extent. I have witnessed the way they apply water to concrete in the U.S and the water they apply is not much and the concrete always come out great.

Can you explain to me why when we do concrete in Nigeria, we tend not to spend time making it look well finished like the ones in the pictures below? Anytime I see concrete shown on nairaland and I wonder why more time is not spent making the concrete look very nice like it is done in other countries. Can you compare these concrete pictures to the one we do in Nigeria?

How clean is clean enough? By admitting Tinubu is so sick and cannot recognise his family members? This was a silly propaganda that went viral some months ago courtesy of PDP. APC has said the General is not in any hospital. If anyone or group thinks/knows that is not true, the onus is on such group of people to provide evidence that GMB is on a sickbed - like some people will say video/picture or I don't believe it.
Don't mind that hungry man. he and his fellow TANists should tell us at what hospital Buhari is being treated. They are the one telling Nigerians he is being treated in London and they should be in better position to tell us at what hospital.
