A lot of fake "privatization" took place that must be reversed. NEPA/PHCN happened to be one. It was privatized, yet government still channeling billions of naira into it. Jonathan gave 18 billion Naira to same crooks who bought PHCN recently.

wiloy2k8:
A former military ruler of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, has called for the introduction of 'total' Islamic law across the country, reports said on Monday.

Buhari, who ruled Nigeria from a coup in December 1983 to his ouster in 1985, told a seminar in Kaduna, northern Nigeria, at the weekend that the strict Islamic law code known as the Sharia should be introduced in full across Nigeria.

"I will continue to show openly and inside me the total commitment to the Sharia movement that is sweeping all over Nigeria," Buhari said, quoted in press reports.

"God willing, we will not stop the agitation for the total implementation of the Sharia in the country," Buhari said.

Northern Nigeria is mainly Muslim but southern Nigeria is mainly Christian and has led criticism of the introduction of Islamic law in a dozen northern states in the past 18 months.

Africa's most populous country has been shaken repeatedly in the past by religious unrest. In February 2000 between 2 000 and 3 000 people were killed by Christian-Muslim riots in Kaduna over the introduction of Sharia.

Call for Sharia across the country

Buhari's comments were interpreted by the southern-based papers as a call for the imposition of Sharia all across the country, even in the mainly Christian south.

"Buhari calls for Sharia in all states," was the headline of the respected newspaper The Guardian.

Buhari's comments were defended by supporters as simply a call for the full implementation of Sharia in areas where Muslims predominated.

But the comments are the second by Buhari that have courted controversy after he called earlier this year for Muslims to vote at the next presidential elections only for someone who would defend their faith.

This was criticised by the press as a call for voting along religious lines, as well as an attack on the current president, Olusegun Obasanjo, who is a Christian.

Buhari made the latest comments at a seminar organised by the Supreme Council for Sharia in Nigeria, a newly set up body attended by northern state governments and Islamic scholars.

"It is a legal responsibility which God has given us, within the context of one Nigeria, to continue to uphold the practice of Sharia wholeheartedly ... and to educate non-Muslims that they have nothing to fear," he said.

"What remains for Muslims in Nigeria is for them to redouble their efforts, educate Muslims on the need to promote the full implementation of Sharia law," he went on.

United Nation, UK, and EU have been funding INEC in the last four years. I just laugh when some people say JEG should be praised for funding INEC and giving INEC the funds to conduct election.

INEC is an independent body that is not taking money from Nigerian government for over three years. The 1.8 Billion Naira promised to INEC by Jonathan since 2013 has not been paid to INEC as at ten minutes ago.

Imagine that bro? Two APC Strongholds (Kano and Lagos) with 4-million strong voters with PVCs a piece, that right there is Jonathan/PDP's worst foc.king nightmare.
Couple with votes from Katsina, Jigawa and Bauchi.

Votes for GMB from Katsina, Jigawa, Zamfara, Bauchi and Kebbi alone can wipe out votes Jonathan get from entire SE and SS. That's without adding Votes from Kano, Sokoto, and Kaduna from NW.

I don't know how Jonathan is going to escape this impending defeat.

Not too far from the possible outcome. You should put Benue, Plateau, Edo, Ekiti, Ondo and Taraba into Jonathan's column. I can assure you Jonathan is certain to win those states I listed but still lose the election. I expect Buhari to get 25% in 25 States and Jonathan to get 25% in 26 States. Both candidate are expect to get their 25% minimum across the board. No matter how Jonathan fights, this election doesn't favor him.

" Though I saw it coming, but I never believed
it. Our movement to APC was a collective
decision and Tele was even the one who
seconded the motion for us to defect to the
APC. So is unthinkable that he wld return to the
PDP. This whole fight is about you ( APC
members ). Not me! I can't be governor again.
Like I keep saying, the world is aware of my
fight with the President. And so many countries
will grant me asylum and the President can't
arrest me. So it's about you people. If I knew
Tele was going to betray me and make peace with Wike, I wouldn't have left the PDP. I will encourage you to remain steadfast and expect the worst, because some commissioners will soon join him or will remain with us to sabotage our efforts. And how do you go to elections with a divided house and political moles? I'm learning people " --Gov. Amaechi

MORAL: Its obvious Gov Amaechi and indeed APC, have become a sinking ship and, its not too late to escape for your political safety, if you haven't crossed the carpet, yet. The jinx is now broken, let the major migration (sorry, defection) begin, from the savananah to the delta, let the droves commence the crossing of the red carpet from this "unsuspected scam, called APC"!

PoliticsRe: Prominent Yoruba Leaders Will Not Vote For APC by FastShipping: 5:06pm On Mar 24, 2015

Dunamis009:
Facts are emerging on why prominent Yoruba leaders have vowed not to vote for the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), General Mohammadu Buhari (rtd.), in the March 28 presidential elections.

Prominent Yoruba leaders and groups, including the two factions of the Oodua Peoples Congress (OPF), the Afenifere Renewal Group and individual Yoruba leaders have sent in a flurry of support and endorsement of the candidature of incumbent President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)

Sources close to the pan-Yoruba cultural group, Afenifere, have blamed the leader of the APC, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for the woes that befell the South-West region in the present administration, especially as it concerns the loss of the Speakership of the House of Representatives.

One of the sources claimed it was Asiwaju Bola Tinubu that sponsored current Speaker, Aminu Bello Tambuwal, against the only Yoruba candidate to the post, Mrs. Mulikat Akande.

“The truth is that it was Tinubu’s backing of Tambuwal that eventually tipped the scale against the Yoruba nation. Because of that, the Yorubas are nowhere in the pecking order of this government. We are not the president, we are not the vice, we are not in the Senate and we are not in the House of Representatives. How do we support someone so selfish that he has to sell the privileges of the Yoruba nation to outsiders?” the source, who does not want to be named, said.

He went on to list other alleged sins of Tinubu and was certain that no Yoruba person worth his heritage would support anything projected by the man that is also popularly called the Jagaban.

According to the source, “The truth is that Tinubu has practically usurped the economy of Yoruba’s richest state. As we speak, the economy of Lagos is Tinubu and Tinubu is the economy of Lagos. We believe in equity and fairness and we are convinced Tinubu does not represent this.”

The source added that the position of Prof. Yemi Osinbajo as vice president
