1) Courtyard security: on mine I intend to have the top covered by s steel mesh of sorts that has 1 foot square openings and will be bolted to the concrete wall. I will then allow for thorny, very thorny, vines to grow in strategic areas of the false roof. Like in th epicture attached but a little bit more Nigerized.

2) Expandable system, yes it should be expandable. This is one beauty of building with masonry.

If one has adequate land, one can start this system in the pic below with one structure and then expand as time goes on.

If you happen to be an Alhadji Alaya Merin, you can just build one structure for each Wife and you can just stroll through the courtyard to do the needfull according to scheduling

PS: One thing I want us to remember is that we can work with a builder and architect to make our dreams come through. Don't accept "na naija we dey and na so we dey do am jare". Lead the way, at least I intend to.

I love all the concepts... and look at the test on those Hammerglass... that is what we need in Nigeria.. no more iron burglary proofs.
That glass will be expensive as hell but it will be worth it..

Wonderful work! I've been following your projects for a while, and it would be an honor to have your company build for me.

I've been thinking for a long time now of building a minimalist style house. Ideally, the house would enclose most of the land, without the usual high fence. As a result, instead of regular burglary proof, I'm considering using hammerglass for the windows and doors (it's apparently unbreakable) http://www.hammerglass.com/download/

APC WASTED MILLIONS OF DOLLARS PRINTING FAKE BALLOT PAPERS
More facts have continued to emerge as to why the INEC had to postpone the 2015 elections. One of such reasons is the security report on the massive rigging plans adopted by the APC, who I am reliably informed had gone ahead to print the ballot papers and were waiting to have them thumb.
According to usually reliable sources, including Olusoji Zion Oseni, an eagle eyed detective blogger, the electoral commission had already concluded the designing of the ballot papers, but were yet to award the contract for the printing of the ballot papers, but some APC moles within the Commission leaked the design of the ballot papers to some high ranking APC members, who wasted no time in printing millions of the ballot papers with a plan to thumb print same a night before the elections. The postponement will enable the INEC re-design the ballot papers. But, is there any guarantee that the same people who leaked the first one, won't leak this one again? I do not know what is Jega's agenda this time around. I am interested in a free and fair election, which I am sure will give Jonathan easy victory over Buhari or any other person that the APC may decide to present. But in the unlikely case where Jonathan is defeated in a free and fair election, I will gladly congratulate whoever emerges winner.
