CityNG: ![]() I fear everything about Texas except for the food there. I have never seen people who are as paranoid as Texans. They fear everything from "goment" to the air they breath. |
CityNG:Were you at this meeting? http://talkingpointsmemo.com/news/texas-governor-abbott-orders-national-guard-military-takeover ![]() I won't be visiting Texas anytime soon. |

This is great ![]() I am really impressed by what I'm seeing. Where are you based? There was Skimanski here and now there is EfeEj ![]() |
EfeEj:This means you are based in Warri. Please, show us more of what you can do. We know you are capable of making good designs happen but try to be here to showcase more of your good work. Kudos to you on this project. |
Oh Lord Almighty! Why everything is red? |
Yu have been in nairaland since 2013 but you haven't been posting your work for people to see. This is very good and neatly done job by you. I love the POP designs. Where is this project based? |
skimanski:In a nutshell, central ACs are available in Nigeria for those who prefer it? |
Call me for all of your shipping |
LaCotti:Wow! I have been thinking about this for a long time. Thanks for bringing this question. Over to you Oga Skimanski. |

I hope you don't fall into hands of 419ners. 1.2 million naira for 07/08 Camry? Are you kidding me? |
CityNG:Lagos is a no-no for me too. My project is not anywhere in Lagos at all. I can't live in Lagos on a four week vacation in a year not to talk of a whole year. I am set to buy everything here for my project but some friends who have been running their mouths that tiles I like are sold in Lagos haven't been able to show me a single tile that I like. They promised to go to the market to show me what Lagos has to offer when it comes to floor tiles but haven't done so. I went to Home Depot and Lowes few times in the last few weeks and there are good deals there but my only concern is how to move tiles in pallets. There is no way to move those tiles in pallets without a pallet jack or forklift. Moving tiles in pallets by hands is recipe for disaster when they get to Lagos. I will keep trying until someone able to show me something I like or else I will do all my things from here. As for U.K, materials are too expensive there. I checked them out and I had to run away from their sites. Imagine a toilet set for 250- 400 pounds. That's without tax. |
CityNG:I just sent you message on other thread. |
CityNG:I just PM'd you. Are you still in Nigeria? Could you please help me check some glazed porcelain, travertine, and polished tiles in Lagos and their prices? I don't want anything China. I need something different like the ones shown below or something close those shown. Thanks in advance.

Impressive! |
Oga Skimanski, I beg update this page with pictures. I've been checking this page every hour in the last three days. |
nduchucks:I am not against death penalty for drug barons but I have problem with some of these countries executing Africans for drug offences and sparing the lives of Americans or other westerners who have committed same crime. Our government needs to start rounding up citizens of Indonesia, Malaysia and others and start charging them arbitrarily so we can use that to negotiate freedom of our people on death row in those countries. |
I have seen it all. I am torn between people telling me good tiles are available in Lagos and people telling me quality tiles are not much available anywhere in Nigeria. Those who said good tiles are available in Nigeria are yet to show me anything close to samples I sent them to look for in Lagos. I have been to Home Depot and Lowes on several occasion in the last three weeks to look at tiles. My only problem is how my people going to take care the tiles if I decide to ship tiles to Lagos. The tiles are crated in a different kind of pallets that you can't move them except you have pallet jack or forklift machine. Moving the tiles by hand poses a threat to them remaining in whole. These pallets cannot be moved by ten macho men. They are heavy. Cost of very good tiles start from $3 per square foot in the U.S. @Spyder, please show us best available tiles you see in Nigeria. Thank you for creating this thread. |
tushbobo:The wallfinish guy is a huge joke. I have been in contact with him for the past five months without any response from him. He is a waste of time. He dabbled into the thread and dabbled out immediately. I liked his concept but he is no where to be found. I PMed him more than 100 times but no response from him. |
It's Friday. |
I once told you to get a good camera but you haven't done so. You need to see what the pictures of your work look like on pc for you to really understand reason why you need a good camera. Get yourself a good camera. |
Mogidi:Olodo. Start with this: "The Osun State Government is considering a review of its policy of free feeding of primary school pupils in the state." "Considering" doesn't mean they have done so. |
[b]Misleading heading.[/b Op, keep deceiving yourself and your fellow bad news lovers. |
ExpressBooking:I am working on it right now. I am happy you are back in business. |
chronique:If I were in your shoe, I would have gone overboard attacking the low lifer who priced this lovely Rav4 for 1 million naira. Some of these miscreants on nairaland who don't even have 100, 000 naira in their bank account just come here to price vehicles like they were stolen before bringing them to Nigeria. |
