Gaining muscle is one thing, revealing the muscle gained is another. Everybody has muscles, but if you are chubby/fat, then the muscles are buried deep and give you a doughy appearance. So to gain muscle, it's still the same old way, to hit the gym, and lift progressively. As a starter, you might feel overwhelmed with what, how, and where to start, but don't sweat it, check out the link below. It is the simplest regime I can recommend for anyone starting with weightlifting. This is my default training regime, simple and efficient. https://stronglifts.com/5x5/ You only need five compound barbell exercises, that work all your major muscles. They are deadlifts, squats, bench presses, overhead presses, and barbell rows. The above link explains in detail what you should do. So either you build a gym in your backyard (recommended), or pay for a gym membership. So the above is about building muscles and becoming strong, that's one step, and the other would be to reveal what you already gained. And this is a very important part. Observe the pics below, this man's body is packed with muscles, but it is all covered in fats since his sport requires such a look. If he loses the fat, then expect a Dwayne Johnson appearance. So this is where food comes into play. Like the old saying, abs are made in the kitchen. You should drastically reduce eating carb-rich foods. So instead of a plate of rice with two pieces of meat, it should be a plate of meat with a small amount of rice. try as much as possible to reduce your carb intake to 10 grams per day, for at least three months, you will see drastic changes. When it comes to the science of weight loss, most people wrongly think it has to do with regular intense exercise, such as the previously posted videos. Food corporation, gyms, and corporate interest have successfully deceived the mass that in order to lose fat, you should just exercise. Every time I go to the Gym, I see lots of fat people working themselves to exhaust, sweating profusely, thinking that spending more time on the treadmill makes a difference. Though I wish them success, I still see many of them looking the same months after month, and they wonder why they can't lose weight. Now let me make this point clear. EXERCISING TO LOSE FAT IS AN ATTEMPT IN FUTILITY. To paraphrase, you won't lose fat by running every day, or doing hard physical activities, although it helps, it accounts for less than 25% of weight loss. Look around you, you will see lots of fat Okada men, bus drivers, and people with quotidian intense jobs. If losing fat is not directly proportional with physical activities, then what is it? it simply boils down to understanding how the body stores fat. With this knowledge in mind, you will save yourself countless hours in doing futile exercise to lose weight. you will smartly eat what you like, and you will still reduce fat. It is also very possible to lose fat while leading a sedentary lifestyle. You can sit at home all day and still lose fat. It is the natural way the body is designed to work, and if you revert back to that process, body fat levels will dissipate effortlessly. You will feel stronger, agile and confident in your appearance. It is unfortunate that most people know about sport, politics, celebrities etc without understanding how food reacts in their body, without trying to understand concepts like calories, BMI, visceral and subcutaneous fat, glycemic foods, nutrients etc. Living healthy is basically one thing, that is to have a healthy relationship with what anything that goes into your mouth. Yahoo guys, rich guys, guys they have crushes on, guys way above their level and got his shit together etc. Not to justify the silly attitudes of ladies, but their actions just show that success in anything you do will attract women. That same girl that is showing dirty attitudes, another guy is ignoring her, tired of her incessant chats and done fuckin her. Instead of focusing on how they treat you, go and make it happen. MsNgo40: You do not have to disagree since I didn't say that the word has changed its meaning. I'm only referring to the effect such words has in its contextual usage. And yes, you are right. Such word has a negative beginning and should be abandoned not refurbished, refined or used in contemporary culture to make it sound cool. If not for the infiltration of such word in rap music and African American speech, the word might have died long ago. The ignorance attached to it, even when I see lots of Nigerians using it is pitiable. |

A white person calling a black person the N word has a different effect compared to a black person calling another black person. To understand the effect such word has, you need to look at it from a historical perspective. Nigger is a demeaning word, a word used to describe black people as subhuman, slaves and everything bad. For at least 400years, the word was used to torment black people and make every corner of their existence tragic. When a white person calls a black person such name, it evokes centuries of oppression and has a completely different meaning thereof. The effects are not the same. I see a group of females calling each other bitches, but I know that if I call them such, it has a completely different effect. Context matters. I personally do not use such words and expect that it will just fade away, but nonblacks should not call a black person the N word, in most cases than not, its a form of an abuse and ridicule. |

No. Sex on a first date doesn't make a lady cheap. What makes a lady cheap on a first date is ordering unreasonable meals. In other words, what makes a lady cheap is ordering isi-ewu, guilder, jollof rice, and fish then an extra pack for takeaway while expecting me to pay for it. I wont only refuse to pay for it, but I will make it clear indirectly that she is responsible for her orders. I will rather be called stingy than a mugu. |

nevachange: I'm trying to get the context of your post, as it is not accompanied with any texts. I noticed that many people have this idea that losing fat has to do with only physical activities like cardiovascular and/or strength exercise, but this is simply wrong, to put mildly. In the science of losing fat, the prime factor is what goes into your mouth. You can't outrun a bad diet. You may workout 23 hours a day but if you do not eat right, you will still be fat. Even without any executed physical activities, it is infinitely possible to burn fat if one eat right. Humans are not sedentary in nature. Our bodies are designed in ways that facilitate physical activities. If you walk around your house, cook, take a shower, use the toilet and other daily activities, your body burn calories and interpret it as a normal activity you usually do in the Gym, this process is known as NEAT (Non-Exercise Activity Thermogenesis). You are what you eat. |
