A video which surfaced online captured some police officers frantically trying to find a solution after their van got stuck in Auchi, Edo State.

The policemen found themselves trapped in the middle of muddy water and were looking for ways to come out of the complex situation
Someone moved closer to the officers like he wanted to help but he changed his mind and made a U-turn.

Residents in the area chose to make jest rather than offer assistance and at some point the officers just sat inside the car as though they have given up.

Nigerian man who has purchased a Lexus has mocked his former secondary school teacher for still driving an old Mercedes Benz model.

The unknown young man recorded the moment he saw his teacher in his 1993 Benz and recalled how he looked down on him way back in school.

The guy who was driving a Lexus said that the teacher taught him in SS1, and he used to say he would never become successful in life.

 

He said the teacher had been driving the car since he was in secondary school and wondered why the man was still using that type of car in 2022.

Prophet Chukwuemeka Odumeje slapped and pushed by security operatives as govt demolition his church

Mountain of Holy Ghost Intervention and Deliverance Ministry founded by Prophet Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere, popularly known as Odumeje, has been demolished.

The Anambra state government ordered the demolition of the church in Onitsha, in line with the Urban Renewal Plan by Governor Charles Soludo.

A video which is making the rounds online captures the moment Prophet Odumeje was being assaulted by armed taskforce officials as he attempted to stop the demolition exercise.

He made several attempts to fight off the security personnel but it was futile because the demolition had already started.

Elsewhere in South Africa, a church has carried out a virginity test on it's female members who are 18 years and above.

From what we have gathered, Nazareth Baptist Church in Durban, South Africa commenced the practice just to encourage young ladies to take good care of themselves before getting married.

It’s said to be a yearly event which takes place in the middle of the year and a ‘Certificate of Virginity’ is given to those who pass the test and a white mark is made on their foreheads.

The certificate is only valid for one year and the ladies are expected to conduct another test in the following year.

The virginity test for 2022/2023 was conducted by the church on Tuesday, July 6, and the successful ladies were issued a certificate as usual.

The certificate was signed by the leader of the church and the specialist who inspected their virginity.

A Nigerian lady has lamented over the soaring prices of food stuff in the country after she went to the market.

The young woman said she bought a tuber of yam for N3,000 and she decried the level of societal hardship.

A Nigerian lady has been captured on tape venting inside a bank over a transaction on her account which was not carried out by her.

The woman expressed rage in the banking hall while lamenting over how N1 million was allegedly withdrawn from her account.

She recorded herself calling out the bank and its staff for failing to help her reverse the transaction.

According to her, the maximum amount she transacts with on her account is N150,000 per day, but over 1 million Naira was withdrawn from her account using Opay.

She said bank explained that nothing can be done about it because it has to receive directive from the head office.

A police officer has been seen engaging in a boxing fight with a suspected offender on the streets of an American city.

The law enforcement personnel agreed to leave his gun in the holster and fight the man with his fists.

In a video which has gone viral, the officer and the man could be seen throwing punches and some motorists who witnessed the fight recorded it on tape.

A Catholic priest, Fr. Evaristus Bassey, has caused a stir online after he shared a photo of “Virgin Mary” that allegedly appeared to parishioners at St. Charles Lwanga in Calabar.
The priest shared photos of the “Virgin Mary” on Twitter and said many people, including non-Catholics, “saw her image.”
He claimed that the peculiar event that occurred on Wednesday, June 22, signified God’s presence with them.
“On Wednesday 22-6-2022 the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared in one of our parishes in Calabar, St. Charles Lwanga. It was something more than 100 people witnessed,even a Protestant pastor who came to visit his cousin, the assistant priest.
He took these pictures. The rays around her were too bright for a clear picture. She moved up to the Shrine dedicated to her and then was taken up. It was amazing, the entire aura around the parish, that evening. She didn’t say anything to anyone. But I think she came to assure of God’s presence with us.
