What do you do when you had barely 2 hours of sleep at night, and you are seriously fighting to stay awake at work, and the coffee and chewing gum didn't help at all, and you have to attend a very long and boring meeting with senior management? How can you stay awake through it? Suggestions, anyone? |

Hello lovers of Christian literature and lovers of Ted Dekker... Everyone else who is interested too... See below; "You lost your faith?” you ask.
In a matter of speaking, yes and no. No, because I never lost faith in the core fundamentals of what I thought I believed.
Yes, because far too much of the time my life experience wasn’t lining up with what I thought I believed. Something had to give.
Mine was a crisis of experience. What I thought I believed wasn’t bearing out in the world around me. Didn’t Jesus say that whatever we asked in his name would be done? But it wasn’t being done, not in my life, nor in the lives of anyone I knew.
And didn’t Jesus say that those who followed Him would be known by their radical ability to show kindness to those who were cruel to them? And yet Christians aren’t generally known for their love any more than their neighbors are.
Something was wrong. Very wrong.
So begins the 25 page expose on my life called Waking Up: How I Found My Faith by Losing It, now https://gc205.infusionsoft.com/app/linkClick/3158/53416752b1cfc48d/1394122/dc415703a029daff on Amazon.
“If there is one elephant in the room among most who call themselves Christian, it is that what we think and say we believe and what we actually experience are all too often two radically different realities.”
Can you relate? I think all people of faith do. The only problem is, no one’s talking about it. Not sure this describes you? Read the book and find out. You’ll surely see yourself.
This is why I wrote the novel A.D. 33 (coming out October 6th) which dives deep into The Forgotten Way, the path of Yeshua to peace and power in this life, not only in the life to come.
And what a stunning path it is. But why are so few talking about his incredible path to peace in this life? Most aren’t even aware that we aren’t talking about it. So then, what is this path?
If you’ve read anything I’ve written or nothing I’ve written, do me a favor and get the book below—it doesn’t cost a dime. If you have any interest in finding peace and power in this life, or know anyone who does, download it now and give it a quick read.
It could very well change the way you see yourself and the world you live in.

bellong: Yes, you are wrong.
One of the reasons for marriage is to find an help-meet who will support and help you in fulfilling your dreams and visions.
Marriage with the right person makes this possible. Your business with seemingly unhappy people is to learn from them so as not to make the mistake they made.
Marriage is one of the best things that can happen to anyone.
"Woe is he that is alone... For two shall have good reward for their labour..." Yea, I thought the mistake was them getting married in the first place. I guess I still have a lot to learn, then. Thanks |

bellong: Welcome,
The welcome group will soon organise a party for you.
@bold, what are the cons you know that outweigh the pros?
Could you be explicit? Hi Bellong, I just feel I won't be able to achieve as much as I would have if it were just me. I mean, even if i get to marry the most perfect man in the world, wifely roles are wifely roles. I just see myself relegating all my dreams and aspirations. I'm not one of those people who believe that marrying and raising children is the key to fulfilment in life. I think there's so much more to life than just that. Around me, I see wives and mothers quitting their jobs to run the homestead. They look happy on the outside, but I dont believe they are actually content For me, this just totally outweighs the good parts I may be wrong sha |

Hello house,
My name is Favour. I'm single and employed.
Almost everyone around me has started telling me it's high time I got hitched. But I'm still yet to decide on whether I want to actually go into this thing called marriage. So far, from what I know and from what I've seen, the cons outweigh the pros.
Anyways, y'all seem like really lovely and interesting people and I wouldn't mind coming here to chill every now and then.
Have a splendid week ahead, people |

KingRaoul: My mum is trash and my sis are also very vain disgusting small minded people why on earth will i want to live the rest of my life with such? I dont see anything good in a person that only select when to be nice to u, if u have set a standard for me before u can be nice to me then ur not worth my love attention or respect. I cant be nice to any female except i see one that doesnt wait for me to look my best or have so much to give her to love me, if ur mother cant love u on the days ur ill or broke then shes trash and doesnt deserve to live. I am not the enemy here im actually a good person despite my rude and violent ways of expressing myself. Lol! |

Toks2008: Please put yourself in the shoes of the man and see if it makes sense for me to spend thousands of my hard earned money to divorce a lady and then makes her very free to be with the man. Never will i be that foolish.
It will be on record that she has cheated so that at anytime she wants to make trouble with the new woman she just won't be able to do that so let her go look for money and divorce herself and i will let her go. Keep going, I'm really learning from your words of wisdom In other news, when did divorce become so expensive in Nigeria? |

Toks2008: I will never divorce a cheating wife instead i will just marry another one and allow her walk out of my life gently.
GOD forbid i waste my hard earned money to divorce a slut. So you would rather marry a second wife than divorce a cheating wife?? Yea, I guess that makes the situation better. Makes perfect sense! |
Romance › Re: Why Are Men Scared Of Marrying Female Nurses? by Favolly(f): 8:03pm On Sep 23, 2015 |
Jackeeh: Not all men though. Female Nurses are stereotypically branded "rude" n "loose" . Same goes for female bankers. This is unfair though. A woman's profession is unconnected to her character or choices in life. If she's rude n loose, she has always been that way ; even before she "became" a nurse. To all the married, decent and polite female nurses out there, I salute you! From your male colleague Single, polite and decent female nurses, nko? |
