I need your suggestions

My little girl developed umbilical hernia after her cord dropped. As a result, her navel is big and scary looking. I've read so much about it and my question is this.

Where we come from, a child's navel is massaged with hot water or Lantern for three months. This is to allow the navel heal internally and as such, our women don't have issues with stomach ache or menstrual pain etc

I am however afraid to do this for my daughter as her navel is so big and then bulges even more when she cries. Should we keep massaging the navel with hot water as we learnt the umbilical cord site might still be a fresh wound inside.

I don't want her to come to harm if a hot massage is unnecessary but I also don't want her to have stomach issues when she is grown...

Please help me urgently. Thank you.

If it's for colic- that resolves itself eventually on or before the baby is 3 months
My baby has hernia too and Iv been told of that if the intestines are not trapped in the opening then it's strictly a cosmetic issue

Am so sorry mamas for nt checking in. I had emergency cs on Saturday after water started leaving wednesday night. My son was born at exactly 34weeks. He is in d incubator and on oxygen. I had a terrible scare yday due to a nurse's negligence bt we r fine. i was on my feet by sunday morning . just dis headache do won't go a way. Pls i need advice on viability and if theres anything we can do to help . he weighed 1.7kg at birth. Please we need ur prayers. anyone with ideas should pls share. I called them numerous time but they said They'v not recieved the money from the hospital

Hello house .thank God my princess arrived yesterday tru a C-SECTION sadly she is not too strong weight 2kg,low sugar level on &off and she is eating only tru pipe from her nostrile cos she can't suck bottle for now my breast milk is not even flowing and she has jaundice so she is in NICU.pls house abeg how much is der cost who has experienced dis b4 asper how much dey will charge at d end of the all intensive care.urgent reply pls.cos our budget was VD now it turned to CS b4 baby issue resulted to NICU and dey won't discharge baby until she is fully recovered. I thank God she is active not weak.

I'm sure they gave you a pump at the hospital - they usually do to mothers with babies in Nicu. Pls try and pump on a schedule of 2 hours for now, it will really help your baby

Don't worry we stand together and declare by faith that you won't leave the USA empty handed, like everyone has said look up to God, it will end well

As for bills, don't stress too much about it, after discount ask for a payment plan, I'm sure they will agree to something favorable / manageable for you and your pocket
